    Pod pojęciem transferu innowacji rozumie się pojawienie się w danym miejscu lub w danej społeczności nowych produktów, technologii, upraw, zwierząt hodowlanych, sposobów organizacji władzy i społeczeństwa, wierzeń i wartości pochodzących z innych miejsc lub społeczności. Jest to transfer wiedzy pod postacią przedmiotów, wiedzy zawartej na nośnikach i w umysłach i umiejętnościach ludzi. Wyróżnia się pośrednie i bezpośrednie sposoby transferu innowacji. Te pierwsze mają miejsce przy okazji innych działań: handlu, wojen i podbojów, misji religijnych, migracji spowodowanych różnymi czynnikami. Te drugie obejmują świadome działania władz mające na celu sprowadzanie wiedzy i umiejętności oraz transfer wiedzy w wyniku wypraw naukowych. Niniejsze opracowanie omawia ogólne cechy transferu innowacji oraz bardziej szczegółowo handel, misje religijne oraz migracje jako mechanizmy transferu innowacji, od czasów najdawniejszych do XX wieku.
    Transfer of innovations is understood as the emergence in a given place or community of new products, technologies, crops, livestock, ways of organizing government and society, beliefs and values from other places or communities. It is the transfer of knowledge in the form of objects, knowledge contained in media and in the minds and skills of people. A distinction is made between indirect and direct modes of innovation transfer. The former takes place on the occasion of other activities: trade, wars and conquests, religious missions, migrations caused by various factors. The latter include deliberate actions by authorities to import knowledge and skills and knowledge transfer as a result of scientific expeditions. This study discusses the general features of innovation transfer and more specifically trade, religious missions and migration as mechanisms of innovation transfer, from the earliest times to the 20th century.

    Among the many paths in life on which God places man there is undoubtedly the one that leads to the heights of holiness. It is not always easy, but certainly beautiful. Delighted by this beauty of God’s plans, Brother Jerzy Lakomiak united his paths with the Master’s dogs. Reading and responding to God’s call, he responded with his life by taking up the path of the evangelical counsels: chastity poverty and obedience following the example of St. Francis of Assisi. His love for God, the Blessed Mother, holy poverty, quiet and humble service, and a life of prayer, first in his native country and then for half a century on Argentine soil, made it possible that today among his confreres and those who knew Brother George, he is spoken of as one who exemplarily fulfilled the mission the Risen Lord entrusted to him.

    W sierpniu 2022 r. minęło 45 lat od rozpoczęcia przez siostry z jednego z tzw. zgromadzeń honorackich – Sióstr Służek Najświętszej Maryi Panny Niepokalanej – pracy misyjnej w Afryce. Artykuł prezentuje, uwzględniając specyfikę tego zgromadzenia, jego zaangażowanie w dzieło misji ad gentes. Założyciel zgromadzenia posyłał siostry do najbardziej potrzebujących. Obecnie pojmują one swoją misję jako misję na peryferiach świata, zrozumiały i odczytały znaki czasu oraz odważnie podążają na „obrzeża” dzisiejszego Kościoła, niosąc „radość Ewangelii”. Chociaż zgromadzenie sióstr honoratek, Służek Najświętszej Maryi Panny Niepokalanej, nie powstało specjalnie z myślą o misji ad gentes, to po stu latach od swego powstania podjęło tę formę pracy. Poszerzenie postrzegania i realizacji charyzmatu zgromadzenia wpisuje się w aktualne nauczanie Magisterium Kościoła o zaangażowaniu zgromadzeń zakonnych w dzieło ewangelizacji. Rodzime powołania do tego zgromadzenia, a nawet przejmowanie placówek misyjnych (misja w Butare) przez „siostry Afrykanki” potwierdzają prawdę, że misje to nie tylko dawanie, ale i wymiana darów.
    August 2022 marked 45 years of the missionary work in Africa undertaken by one of the so-called Honorat’s congregations, the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Taking into account the uniqueness of this assembly, the article demonstrates its commitment to the work of the mission ad gentes. The congregation’s founder assigned the sisters to the most needy. Today the sisters recognize their vocation as a mission to the periphery of the world and having understood and read the signs of the times, they courageously go to the periphery of today’s Church, bringing “the joy of the Gospel” to the poorest of the poor. Although Honorat’s congregation of the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary was not founded with the intention of doing mission ad gentes, it nevertheless engaged in this form of work one hundred years later. The current teaching of the Church’s Magisterium on the engagement of religious congregations in the work of evangelization includes widening of the perception and implementation of the congregation’s charism. The local vocations of this Congregation as well as the African Sisters taking over missionary offices (mission in Butare), confirm the truth that missions are not merely about giving but also about exchanging gifts.

    Analizy podjęte w artykule koncentrują się wokół formacji misyjnej uczniów klas V- VIII szkoły podstawowej i różnych typów szkół ponadpodstawowych. Problematykę zaprezentowano w ujęciu Podstawy programowej katechezy Kościoła katolickiego w Polsce (2018) oraz Programu nauczania religii rzymskokatolickiej w przedszkolach i szkołach (2018). Najpierw przybliżono rozumienie terminu „formacja misyjna młodzieży”. Następnie zwrócono uwagę na potrzebę wspierania młodzieży w odkrywaniu zobowiązań chrześcijanina – również odpowiedzialności za działalność misyjną Kościoła. Na podstawie dokonanej oceny propozycji formacji misyjnej młodzieży sformułowano kilka postulatów pastoralnych: potrzebę częstego podejmowania tematów związanych z działalnością misyjną Kościoła, konieczność informowania o wolontariacie misyjnym osób świeckich, potrzebę wychowania do modlitwy za misje oraz zaangażowania młodzieży w inicjatywy misyjne Kościoła.
    The focus of analyses undertaken in the article is on the missionary formation of students in grades V-VIII of primary school and various types of secondary schools. The issues are presented in terms of Core Curriculum of Catechesis of the Catholic Church in Poland (2018) and Roman Catholic Religion Curriculum in Kindergartens and Schools (2018). First the understanding of the term “missionary formation of youth” was introduced. Then, attention was drawn to the need to support young people in discovering Christian commitments – also responsibility for the missionary activity of the Church. Relying on the assessment of the youth missionary formation proposal, several pastoral postulates were formulated: the need for frequent undertaking topics related to the missionary activity of the Church; the necessity to inform lay people about missionary voluntary service; the need for upbringing to pray for missions and the involvement of young people in the missionary initiatives of the Church.

    Polish Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate belonged initially to the religious  provinces of their Congregation in Germany and Canada. Since the end of the 19th century they were involved greatly with the ministry to the Polish immigrants. After 1918 they pursued a project of   founding a separate Polish province. Their first most important communities in Poland were organized with the support of the archbishops of Poznań and Gniezno and of civil authorities in Poznań. The reasons for choosing this area included its traditional patriotism and closeness to Silesia, which was the source of many early Oblate Polish vocations. The article depicts all the most important stages of Oblate foundations in the archdiocese of Poznań, which included among others the provincial house and two major seminaries.
