    Opis:
    In the text: Is „new” new or is it a „training ground for the Orwellian utopia”? Reflections on the most recent educational reform I address the issue of the reform of Polish language education understood in the structural and programmatic sense. The leading concept around which I focus my reflection is autonomy understood in the light of the concept of Aharam Aviram – Autonomy-Oriented Education. Aviram refers to the category of autonomy not only in the process of upbringing, but also in education. Autonomy is a task and an endless process, requiring everyone to work on themselves as well as the appropriate organization of social relations. The significance and sense of the proposal to rebuild the Aviram educational system becomes apparent in the context of restoring the lost bond with reflection on spirituality and as a protest against the centralization of the state in this area. And in the context of changes taking place in Polish education aiming at centralism, it has a bitter resonance. In the text I also take up polemics with some of the assumptions of the reform of Polish language education

    Opis:
    The author of the article points to conflicts resulting from several consecutive politically and ideologically motivated moves of both structural and curricular school reform, and outlines far-reaching, negative consequences of such activities. She explains differences between such concepts as carricular basis and curriculum and analises possible misunderstanding or misinterpretations which are likely to occur if these concepts are confused with each other or wrongly defined. Moreover, she describes the inviolable order of several necessary procedures which will need to be undertaken while planning the reform, if the reform is to succeed at all. She also draws the reader’s attention to the cultural and civilizational context in which the contemporary school functions, and questions the actual purpose and the point of boad general school education under the circumstances where the cultural paradigms are suddenly changed. She considers teacher training to be of paramount importance here and emphasises the fact that it is necessary to perceive the concept of methodics as a social activity which involves multiple fields of study. Furthermore, she suggests that politicians should be excluded from influncing the educational system directly.

    Opis:
    On the basis of the results of the analysis of selected public debates devoted to school humanistic education, the author of the article attempts to describe the condition of Polish language and literature teachers, and to reconstruct the sources of the disintegration of relations between thoughts, emotions and behaviour, which have been sometimes referred to as “school schizophrenia”. Among these sources there are permanent changes in the syllabus, school reforms, authorities who decide upon these changes, the introduction and the character of the changes, the method of measurements of the results of Polish language teachers’ work, as well as the cult of standards and procedures. The final part of the article offers a reflection upon the possibility to teach students on the basis of one’s own values, beliefs, knowleagde and competence in such diverse and complex social and political context.

    W odpowiedzi na kryzys finansowy Unia Europejska i państwa członkowskie rozpoczęły gruntowny przegląd systemu regulacji i nadzoru nad rynkiem finansowym. UE zapoczątkowała wiele reform w sektorze bankowym, aby zwiększyć odporność banków i ograniczyć skutki ich ewentualnej upadłości. W tym celu powołano m.in. Europejski System Nadzoru Finansowego (ESNF) oraz Europejską Unię Bankową (EUB), zaprojektowano Unię Rynków Kapitałowych (CMU), jak też rozpoczęto prace nad single rulebook. Wszystkie te zmiany dotyczą jednak wyłą?cznie sfery zewnętrznej funkcjonowania instytucji kredytowych, które w większości są too big too fail. Tymczasem już w 2012 r. w sprawozdaniu grupy ekspertów wysokiego szczebla, pod przewodnictwem E. Liikanena, wskazano na konieczność przeprowadzenia reformy strukturalnej sektora bankowego w Unii, sięgając tym samym do sfery wewnętrznej jego bytu prawno-gospodarczego. Propozycja reformy strukturalnej sektora bankowego jest pierwszą, która bezpośrednio dotyczy działalności banków, tj. instytucji odpowiedzialnych za „szerokość i głębokość” ostatniego kryzysu gospodarczego. Jednocześnie jest istotnym uzupełnieniem Europejskiej Unii Bankowej, dlatego też powinna być skoordynowana z wcześniej przyjętymi na rynku europejskim regulacjami.

    This article based on Avery Cardinal Dulles S.J. ecclesiological thought shows temporal dimension of catholicity of the Church. It is one of the lines of argumentation for the structural credibility of the Church, which demonstrates that the Church as a structure and in its structure preserves Divine Revelation and communicates it in time and space to everyone. Article shows catholicity of the Church in time, that means identity and continuity of the Church from creation to the end of time (fullness of Kingdom of God). According to Dulles the Church has different stages. In a visible form it finally emerged in Jesus’ live, death and resurrection and sending of Holly Spirit. Thanks to its sacramental structure Church is dynamical and in time it changes forms of its life to be a sign of salvation for all. Therefore the Church is one and simultaneously diverse, it has to fit to all times to realize mission to preach Jesus Christ. To the structure of the Church in this time dimension pertain elements pointing to the unity in diversity of the Church: Tradition (as a not only static but also dynamic communication of Divine Revelation), reform (as a verification of the Church’s mission and the elimination of distortions of its function), doctrine of the Church (constantly interpreted preserves contents of Divine Revelation in a changing historical and cultural contexts), authority in the Church (hierarchical, theological and charismatic; they preserve purity of the Church’s teaching and fidelity of Divine Revelation). These elements participate in the Church’s transmission of Divine Revelation and salvation in time, and are premises of an structural argument of credibility of the Church.
