    Opis:
    The article presents the practice of blessing an organ pipe in the roman rite of thecatholic church. The author enlightens the blessings of the instrument in the liturgical lifeof the church, so that he can move on examine the various forms of blessing the organ,contained in the rituals. The history of the emergence of the ritual in the context of thelatest Vatican Council is also shown. Ending, the author presents a new form of the blessing,which is used in the archdiocese of Kraków in the last few years.
    Artykuł prezentuje praktykę błogosławieństwa organów w rycie rzymskim Kościoła katolickiego. Autor przybliża początki obecności organów w życiu liturgicznym Kościoła, by przejść następnie do analizy poszczególnych wersji błogosławieństwa organów obecnych w rytuałach. Przedstawiona jest również historia powstania tego obrzędu w kontekście ostatniej reformy soborowej. Na końcu autor prezentuje zupełnie nową formę błogosławienia organów, która od kilku lat jest używana na terenie archidiecezji krakowskiej.

    Opis:
    Conducted research showed that there was a centuries-old tradition of penance initiation of the Eucharistic celebration, because it requires holiness of the priests and the faithful. Various forms of preparation played an important role, especially in the period preceding the frequent use of the sacrament of Penance. The pope's liturgy had also an impact on the development of the introductory rites of the Mass. Development of act of repentance took place in the Middle Ages under the influence of numerous apology regarded as the prayers of the celebrant referring to his sinfulness and unworthiness. The act of penance beginning the Mass was finally defined as Confiteor in the Missal of Pius V. Missal of Paul VI has simplified the penitential rite, simultaneously also providing many variants for it. In addition, it has been exposed in the third edition of the Missal by introducing a new header „Actus paenitentialis”. The reform also enabled the replacement of an act of penance by other liturgical rites in order to prepare for proper participation in the Eucharist. This applies, in particular, to Asperges, celebrated to commemorate the baptism, which also was further emphasized in the last edition of the Missal.

    Der Antwortpsalm – ein Kind der Liturgiereform des Zweiten Vatikanischen Konzils – vereinigt in sich mehrere zentrale Anliegen der Reform und wird dadurch zum Gradmesser für dessen Umsetzung. Er macht den „Tisch des Wortes Gottes“ reichhaltiger. Er zeigt, dass das Singen wesentlich zur Feier der Liturgie gehört. Er ermöglicht eine zugleich persönliche und gemeinschaftliche Teilnahme aller an der Liturgie. Er trägt zur Vielfalt liturgischer Dienste bei durch den Einsatz eines Psalmisten (oder Kantors). Er vereinigt in sich die drei Schritte des liturgischen Dialogs: hören – bedenken – antworten.
    Celem artykułu jest zdefiniowanie natury i znaczenia psalmu responsoryjnego, który jest nowym elementem odnowionej po Soborze Watykańskim II liturgii Mszy św. Podstawowym problemem badawczym jest pytanie na ile psalm responsoryjny w liturgicznej praktyce ukazuje realizację zasadniczych założeń soborowej reformy liturgii. Dlatego też, w kontekście psalmu, analizie zostały poddane następujące kryteria odnowy liturgicznej: podkreślenie roli Biblii w liturgii, docenienie śpiewu jako istotnej części świętych czynności, czynny udział wszystkich wiernych oraz różnorodność posług liturgicznych. Całość artykułu została osadzona na tle historii i teologii przemian tego elementu liturgii.
    The purpose of this article is to define the nature and meaning of the responsorial psalm, which is a new element in the liturgy of the Mass since the renewal of the Second Vatican Council. The basic research problem is to what extent the responsorial psalm shows, in liturgical practice, an implementation of the fundamental principles of the Council’s reform of the liturgy. Therefore the following criteria for liturgical renewal were analyzed in the context of the psalm: emphasis of the role of the Bible in the liturgy; appreciation of singing as an essential part of sacred activities; the active participation of all the faithful; and diversity of liturgical ministries. The entire article is set against the background of the history and theology of changes in this element of the liturgy.
