    W artykule omówiono wyniki badań reflektorów samochodowych w warunkach eksploatacyjnych polegających na zarejestrowaniu ich bryły fotometrycznej komputerowym urządzeniem wykorzystującym przetwornik obrazu. Dokonano analizy ilościowej pod kątem spełnienia podstawowych wymagań homologacyjnych i eksploatacyjnych oraz analizy jakościowej charakterystycznych brył fotometrycznych.
    In his paper are described results of measurements of beam patterns of headlamps in use. Measurements were done by computerized device with image sensor. Statistical analysis of type approval requirements meeting were done as well as qualitative analysis of characteristic beam patterns.

    The author presents a selection of feuilletons from the achievements of Stanisław Grędziński - a poet and journalist associated with the group and magazine "Reflektor". Selected columns have not yet been included in the studies and bibliography devoted to the avant-garde of Lublin. They appeared in the pages of "Głos Lubelski". The author thinks that it is worth recalling these columns because they reveal an unknown episode from the history of this branch of Nowa Art, and at the same time shed new light on the achievements of the least known among its representatives.
    Autorka prezentuje wybór felietonów z dorobku Stanisława Grędzińskiego – poety i publicysty związanego z grupą i czasopismem „Reflektor”. Wybrane felietony nie zostały dotąd uwzględnione w opracowaniach i zestawieniach bibliograficznych poświęconych lubelskiej awangardzie. Ukazały się na łamach „Głosu Lubelskiego”. Autorka uważa, że warto przypomnieć owe felietony, ponieważ odsłaniają nieznany epizod z dziejów tego odłamu Nowej Sztuki, a jednocześnie rzucają nowe światło na dorobek najmniej znanego spośród jej przedstawicieli.

    The article presents the results of a study aimed at demonstrating the relationship between the technical condition of headlight covers (in-service and brand-new) and the type of light source used (in-service and new bulbs), and the range of the light spot of a Toyota Corolla passenger car.

    The main objective of the presented analysis was to investigate to what extent even minor changes in the hydrological and hydrogeological environment affect the changes in the dynamics of landslide surface displacement. The research was carried out for selected monitored landslides, which, in addition to the in-depth monitoring devices, were equipped with corner reflectors suitable for satellite radar interferometry measurements. The high temporal resolution of the interferometric data allowed demonstrating the existence of a relationship between the speed of surface movements and slight changes in the depth to the groundwater table. The analyses were performed for five landslides, which also showed a high dependence of these compounds on the geological structure of the landslide and its substrate.

    In recent years, there has been a rapid development of SAR acquisition techniques and all new satellite radar missions are equipped with SAR devices allowing beam steering. This paper presents results of experimental application of TerraSAR-X in ultra-high resolution SpotLight and Staring SpotLight modes for the area of the Just landslide in the Rożnow lake area. Another analyzed example was to use data of the medium resolution Sentinel-1 data acquired in the TOPS mode for the Huciska and Zapadle landslides in Szymbark. In this case, a network of 12 radar reflectors (corner reflectors) was installed to make the results independent of vegetation conditions on landslides. This study presents preliminary results of measurements and discusses the potential of applications and directions of further work.

    W pracy przedstawiono zasady sporządzania krzywej DAC (Distance Amplitude Curve) na ekranie defektoskopu analogowego USIP 11. Podstawą techniki DAC jest wyznaczana dowiadczalnie zależność wysokości echa od odległości wyspecyfikowanego reflektora odniesienia. Sformułowano kilka ogólnych zaleceń dotyczących stosowania tej techniki. Krzywą DAC wykorzystano do oceny nieciągłości.
    In this paper has been described rules how to do a curve in the defectoscope screen USIP 11. Cause for DAC has been determined by high of echo to distance of reflector destination. It is formed some of generally rules to use this technique. This curve can be use to estimate of discontinuously too.

    Road transport is an essential part of modern life. It brings with itself, besides the desired effects, negative aspects as well. Negative aspect is not only the emissions production but also the traffic accidents occurrence even with tragic consequences. In proportion to traffic intensity, accidents during decreased visibility represent a significant share. A driver has a limited source of information at this time, since only vehicle headlights illuminate the runway and its surroundings. However, these do not only illuminate the roadway ahead of the vehicle, but part of the emitted light also falls into the drivers’ eyes of vehicles in the opposite direction. Thus, the eyes of such glared drivers worse recognize details, or lose the ability to see at all, i.e. vision ability. The level of vision loss depends on the light intensity that falls into the drivers’ eyes in the opposite direction. This light intensity is related not only to the correct headlights alignment (setting) but also to their design. In this paper, three generations of headlights in terms of the light intensity falling into the driver’s eyes of the vehicle in the opposite direction are compared. The headlights alignment of the examined vehicles was checked prior to measurements in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements. Given the fact that intensity of the emitted light is also related to the age of the used source, they have been replaced by the new ones. For the reason of objectivity, examination was performed at night at the New Moon phase, thus it did not light up. The starlight also did not affect the measurement results because it was cloudy, but it did not rain. There were no artificial sources of light near the measuring point.

    The sketch comedy Szopki, a show staged irregularly (1927–1931) by a trio of poets who clustered round the avant-garde magazine Reflektor was a fascinating artistic project combining literary aspiration and popular culture. This article tries to position Szopki in the context of the burgeoning entertainment industry and the specific social, political and economic conditions of Lublin, a provincial centre that joined an ambitious modernization project. However, to continue the Great Lublin Project the town needed to borrow more money it could not possibly pay back. No wonder the official narrative of modernization came under an unending barrage of ridicule and derision while local satire revelled in words like crisis, credit, bankruptcy, seizure and sale.
