    Opis:
    This paper discusses how socio-communicative practices that originate in oral tradition, with a focus on Brazilian legends, manifest themselves in the digital environment. It foregrounds the production of discourse objects as a category of analysis and approaches the theoretical assumptions of linguistic and cultural studies through an interdisciplinary approach. It is a study of a theoretical-analytical nature that aims to answer the following research questions: How are Brazilian folk narratives constructed in multimodal texts-based interactions in digital environment? How are the objects of discourse constructed in the analyzed texts? The analyzed texts were collected through screenshots of interactions on public Facebook pages. It is hoped that the results will allow us to understand how digital texts are constructed and show how referential processes contribute to text construction and meaning production, deepening studies of language use in digital environments.

    Opis:
    Lignite open pit mines have large extent, the excavating and stacking equipment are far one from other, the conveying equipment ale very long, so, the face / mine managers have to record a big amount of data when making daily/weekly/monthly inspections. Also, they are critical inspection points, which are moving with the face’s advance. The paper deals with a method and procedure of using smart phones with GPS for taking photos, which are after inspection geo-referenced on the mine plan and on the maps. The authors propose a cheap method, for assist the managers to record and process these digital, image, graphic data and information in their inspection / reporting activity. This enables them to follow the same path , to record state of art, to remark and record the normal modifications and unwanted ones. Also a rough estimation of overburden and lignite excavating progress, slope stability, occurrence of hard intrusions, ground water situation, stock of raw material and spare parts, state of equipment, degree of occupation of staff, a.s.o. Using the classical Smartphone, Google maps, Geotagging and ArcGis correlated with existing digital schematic mine plans, is useful for making reports and prepare the next decisions of process control.
    Kopalnie odkrywkowe węgla brunatnego zajmują duże powierzchnie terenu. Stosowane maszyny podstawowe urabiające oraz zwałujące, jak również ciągi transportowe osiągają znaczne rozmiary, dlatego osoby zarządzające kopalnią muszą rejestrować dużą ilość danych podczas codziennych/cotygodniowych/miesięcznych inspekcji. Ponadto, maszyny tworzące układ technologiczny kopalni są krytycznymi punktami kontrolnymi, które przemieszczają się wraz z postępem frontu roboczego. Artykuł omawia metodę i procedurę wykorzystania smartfonów z GPS do robienia zdjęć w terenie, które następnie nakładane są na plan kopalni oraz na mapy. Autorzy proponują tani sposób, aby pomóc osobom dozoru w rejestrowaniu i przetwarzaniu danych cyfrowych, graficznych oraz informacji w działaniach inspekcyjnych i sprawozdawczych. Dzięki temu mogą zapisywać wytyczone trasy, zgłaszać i rejestrować stan planowanych działań jak i zauważone zmiany niepożądane. Umożliwiają między innymi: przybliżoną ocenę postępów frontów nadkładowych i węglowych, stabilności skarp, zarejestrowanie występowania intruzji skalnych, stanu wód gruntowych, stanu i obciążenia zasobów maszynowych oraz ludzkich. Korzystanie z klasycznego smartfona, map Google, geotagowania oraz ArcGis i ich skorelowane z istniejącymi cyfrowymi schematami kopalni, jest przydatne do tworzenia raportów i podejmowania decyzji dotyczących kontroli procesu wydobycia.

    Opis:
    Social media is an important source of product information for many users. Marketing in social media is based not only on building a community around the brand, but social media is used as a way to reach a defi ned group of users with a marketing message. These users are shown content, including promoted posts, which is to draw their attention, interest and get them to action, i.e. click on the link and read the article promoting an event or product. In this article, we investigated how the diff erent headline wordings (question, traditional, forward referring) aff ect the desire to read the article. An experiment was conducted on 75 participants, which confi rmed that the header has a large eff ect size. The ANOVA analysis was carried out in two stages, additionally taking into account the importance and general interest in the subject of the article by users. Finally, the possible business implications, limitations, and directions for future research were identified.

    Opis:
    The mathematic model of errors in correlation with the extreme navigation system (CENS) is developed basing on odometry and geo-referencing channels. The realization of the model is done in Simulink, and based on regular and random components of additive noise. The results of simulations prove accumulation of errors for odometry errors and its mitigation in case of geo-referencing in periods of correction.

    The starting point is a word from common vocabulary, chosen to pay homage to papacy – the adjective blanc (white). The paper deals with its symbolism, and then shows how the symbolic components are underlying the meanings of its polysemic senses. Attention is drawn upon the compound words that are to be considered as whole terms, with a double difficulty for the translator : recognizing and referencing. Then the linguistic derivatives of the chosen adjective are studied and, finally, research prospects are suggested, particularly concerning the translation problematics with the example of two set phrases belonging to law language : blanchir une réputation and blanchir un inculpé (to clear vs to exonerate).     Biały: symbol, słowo, terminPunktem wyjścia artykułu jest leksem z zakresu słownictwa ogólnego – przymiotnik blanc (biały), wybrany do analizy jako swego rodzaju wyraz hołdu Papiestwu. Niniejsze opracowanie rozpoczyna się od przywołania symboliki bieli, następnie zaś pokazuje, w jaki sposób elementy symboliki zawierają się w znaczeniach wyrazów polisemicznych. Ponadto zwraca także uwagę na wyrazy złożone, stanowiące podwójną trudność dla tłumacza ze względu na rozpoznawanie (problem językoznawczy) i referencję (kognitywny). Dalsza część artykułu przedstawia derywaty językowe wybranego przymiotnika, uwidaczniające sposób konotowania pojedynczego desygnatu (niepowtarzalność każdego użycia) oraz propozycje perspektyw badawczych, dotyczących szczególnie problemów z tłumaczeniem na przykładzie dwóch idiomatycznych wyrażeń polileksykalnych z dziedziny prawa: blanchir une réputation (wybielić reputację) i blanchir un inculpé (wybielić podejrzanego).
