    Opis:
    John the evangelist presented various dimensions of faith in the risen Jesus in his work. The beloved disciple believed after he had seen an empty tomb, in which only the linen clothes and the face cloth had been left (John 20:8). Mary Magdalene believed after the glorified Christ, whom she had earlier confused with the gardener, had spoken to her (John 20:14-16). The disciples believed when they saw their risen Master and His wounds (John 20:20). Thomas got rid of his doubts and believed because of the encounter with Jesus, who allowed him not only to see but also to touch His hands and side (John 20:24-28). Finally, there are also those who did not see Jesus and His spectacular signs, and yet believed in Him (John 20:29). This article presents a detailed analysis of the pericope of the meeting between the risen Christ and Thomas (John 20:24-29). This was a breakthrough moment in the apostle’s life and it was associated with two types of transition: from doubt to mature faith and from the conditions imposed on Jesus to a strong confession of faith: „My Lord and my God!”
    Ewangelista Jan zaprezentował w swoim dziele różne wymiary wiary w zmartwychwstałego Jezusa. Umiłowany uczeń uwierzył po zobaczeniu pustego grobu, w którym pozostały tylko płótna i chusta (J 20,8). Maria Magdalena uwierzyła po tym, jak przemówił do niej uwielbiony Chrystus, którego wcześniej pomyliła z ogrodnikiem (J 20,14-16). Uczniowie uwierzyli wówczas, gdy ujrzeli swego zmartwychwstałego Mistrzai Jego rany (J 20,20). Tomasz wyzbył się swych wątpliwości i uwierzył pod wpływem spotkania z Jezusem, który pozwolił mu nie tylko oglądać, lecz również dotknąć swych rąk i boku (J 20,24-28). Wreszcie są też i tacy, którzy nie widzieli Jezusa i Jego spektakularnych znaków, a jednak w Niego uwierzyli (J 20,29). Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje szczegółową analizę perykopy J 20,24-29, w której jest mowa o spotkaniu zmartwychwstałego Chrystusa z Tomaszem. Był to przełomowy moment w życiu apostoła, który wiązał się z dwoma rodzajami przejścia: od wątpliwości do wiary dojrzałej oraz od warunków stawianych Jezusowi do mocnego wyznania wiary: „Pan mój i Bóg mój!”

    Opis:
    The issues of texture in piano pieces of Silesian composers, written from 1953 to 2008. The object of the study were 6 compositions for 2 grand pianos or four hands of the following compos- ers: Józef wider, Allegro. Moderato for 2 pianos (1953); Henryk Mikoaj Górecki, Toccata for 2 pianos (1955) and Five pieces, Moderato for 2 pianos op. 13 (1959); Jan Wincenty Hawel, Capriccio-Fantasia for 2 pianos (1975); Aleksander Glinkowski, Dialogos for the piano for 4 hands (1976); Andrzej Dziadek, Klavierstücke for 4 hands (2008). The purpose of the conducted analyses is an attempt to answer the questions concerning models of instrumental texture. The purpose of the conducted analyses is an attempt to answer questions concerning models of instrumental texture. What are the relations designed for the co-performers in a given composition for two performers? How does cooperation proceed between two parts making up one piece of music? What texture model results from the mutual relations between the co-performers? What are the conditions and assumptions of such relations set by the composer? The authoress precedes the solution of the main issues with presentation of an outline of the Silesian school of composition. Then, she makes a separate review and assessment of piano music against the background of the entire set of works of each composer. When answering the main research problem, she states that the relations between the parts of the two performers determine the texture of the musical piece - they arise from different stylistic conditions and assumptions set by the composer. The final conclusions are presented in a Table. The following models of instrumental textures can be identified in the discussed works: 1) layered complemented texture (wider), 2) euphonic texture (H.M. Górecki, Toccata ), 3) pointillistic, complemented texture (H.M. Górecki, Pi Utworów), 4) diversified texture: euphonic, dialogic (J.W. Hawel), 5) two-dimensional dialogic texture (A. Glinkowski), 6) dialogic-complemented texture (A. Dziadek).

    Opis:
    The author analyses exegetically J 20, 19–20 where the disciples were filled with joy when they saw Risen Jesus. Starting from the analysis of the literary context and the motives related to the disciples’ joy, the author stresses church-centered role of the Risen Lord (kyrios). He points out a number of references to the appearances of Risen Christ in Luke 24, which seem to have many points in common with the Johannine tradition. He particularly focuses on the very moment of appearance when Jesus in a symbolic gesture shows his hands and side to the disciples. The hands and side are the symbols of tender love of the Good Shepherd and inexhaustible source of the Holy Spirit. Moreover, he presents the contrast between the experience of fear, confusion and scattering (before the Resurrection) and the experience of joy, confidence and unity which was rediscovered around the Risen Jesus.
    L’articolo presenta un’analisi esegetica di Gv 20, 19–20, dove gli apostoli si rallegrarono al vedere Gesù risorto. Si esamina il contesto letterario, i motivi inerenti alla gioia dei discepoli e il ruolo ecclesiocentrico del Signore Risorto (kyrios). Non mancano riferimenti al racconto delle apparizioni in Lc 24, che sembra molto vicino alla tradizione giovannea. Un’attenzione particolare viene data al momento dell’apparizione, quando Gesù, eseguendo un gesto simbolico, mostra ai discepoli le mani e il costato, entrambi i simboli della amorevole cura del Buon Pastore e dell’inesauribile fonte dello Spirito Santo. Inoltre, viene messo in risalto il contrasto tra lo stato di paura, smarrimento e dispersione (prima dell’apparizione del Risorto) e lo stato di gioia, fiducia e ritrovata unità attorno a Gesù Risorto.
