    This article deals with the re-interpretation of Tadeusz Hołuj’s drama Puste pole (1963; The Empty Field) and its theatrical staging by Józef Szajna in 1965. Based on the drama I want to demonstrate how the artists – who were both survivors of the concentration camp in Auschwitz – managed re-presenting the Holocaust despite the political situation and the accompanying anti-Semitic government campaign in Poland in the 1960s. The reception of the drama of then and nowadays shows how that re-presentation was once interpreted due to the political circumstances, which made the issue of the Holocaust and the Jews bannend from public life, language, and memory. Finally I explore how Hołuj’s drama can be read today when we approach it via postcatastophic re-reading determined by after-knowledge, retrospection, and retroactivity.

    The „Naked Soul” of Dionysus. Nietzsche Reception by Stanislaw Przybyszewski The author of the article attempts at re-reading the work of Stanisław Przybyszewki from the perspective of the analogy, and partially thecause-and-effect-relationship, between Nietzsche’s concept of ‘the Dionysian’ and Przybyszewski’s theory of ‘the naked soul’. The author of the paper proposes that the basic element of the reception of German philosopher’s thought in the works of the genius Pole is ‘the Dionysus’ from Nietzsche’s early writings understood as a universal cosmic force connected with sexual desire, and not a voluntary concept of ‘the overman’.

    Opis:
    W artykule podjęto analizę encykliki Humanae vitae przy pomocy faktorów moralności objawionej, zawartych w dokumencie Papieskiej Komisji Biblijnej Biblia a moralność. Biblijne korzenie postępowania chrześcijańskiego. Należą do nich: struktura moralności objawionej: dar–odpowiedź/zadanie/prawo, dary stworzenia, przymierza, przebaczenia i celu eschatologicznego. A także kryteria metodologiczne gwarantujące biblijną poprawność refleksji moralnej: dwa kryteria ogólne (zgodność z biblijną wizją człowieka i przykładem Jezusa) oraz sześć szczegółowych (zbieżności, przeciwstawienia, postępu, wspólnoty, celowości i rozróżnienia). Analiza służy określeniu relacji tekstu Humanae vitae do moralności objawionej i jest teologiczną relekturą encykliki, podejmującą pytanie o jej teologicznomoralną prawdę.
    The article analyzes the encyclical Humanae vitae with the help of the factors of revealed morality contained in the document of the Pontifical Biblical Commission The Bible and the morality. Biblical roots of Christian conduct. These include: the structure of revealed morality: the gift-response/task/law, the gift of creation, the gift of the Covenant, the gift of forgiveness and the final goal. And also the methodological criteria guaranteeing the biblical correctness of moral reflection: two fundamental criteria (conformity with the biblical view of human nature and conformity with the example of Jesus), and six specific ones (convergence, contrast, advance, community dimension, finality and discernment). The analysis serves to define the relation of Humanae vitae to revealed morality and it is the theological re-reading of the encyclical, asking the question about its theological and moral truth.

    I would like to present proposal within the confines of the hereby article process method called recently RECITO, which helps process of reading. For this creation of program motivation, was noticing, that lack of ability of fluent reading can present serious barrier with apprehension in present times in conquest of desirable education.     This paper is concerned with the methodological, practical and analytical dimension of creative writing training. Lectures and seminars for first year students „Literary masterpieces of XX–XXI Century”, have been dedicated to the education of close reading skills, which is an introduction to the skills of creative writing, understood as re-writing, or re-formulation of canonical literary texts. Creative writing students have been instructed how to find their own voice on the margins of famous texts. This approach for creative writing education is presented by Nicholas Delbanco, author of The Sincerest Form. Writing Fiction by Imitation. Close reading and creative re-writing of canonical literary works is a significant exercise of stylization, pastiche, narrative modes, point-of-view technique, focalization and world and character building processes. Exercises like these are not only creative writing training but also a workout of critical thinking, based on influential paradigms like post-colonialism, feminism, cultural studies, due to the subversive potential of re-written literature. This is an interesting challenge for both sides of the education process: for students and for academic teachers. This paper is a review of analytical procedures, practical exercises, questions and issues which were given to students during a course on „Literary masterpieces of XX–XXI Century” (dedicated to Lord Jim by J. Conrad, The Death in Venice by T. Mann; The Stranger by A. Camus) and an opportunity to present students’ short stories and exam task fragments.
