    Opis:
    An adaptive procedure for automatic modulation recognition is described. With it the automatic modulation classification and recognition of radio communication signals with a priori unknown parameters is possible effectively. The results of modulation recognition are important in the context of radio monitoring or electronic support measurements. The special features of the procedure are the possibility to adapt it dynamically to nearly all modulation types, and the capability to recognize continuous phase modulation (CPM) signals like Gaussian minimum-shift keying (GMSK) too. A time synchronization to the symbol rate is not necessary.

    In order to accomplish the mission of a public radio it is necessary to manage the broadcasting time adequately, taking into account the mission-related objectives, such as production of programs focusing on matters important for local communities. Public radio should be perceived by the audience as a reliable and trustworthy source of information. At the same time it should compete for young listeners and improve attractiveness of the program without excessive commercialization. Therefore, being a public station, Radio Rzeszów SA broadcasts a wide variety of programs focusing on information, opinions, culture, entertainment, education and sport, in compliance with its mission. Moreover, the schedule of programs is designed taking into account the criteria for the preferred programs, as defined by the National Broadcasting Council. The numerous mission-related tasks of a public broadcasting entity include programs for national and ethnic minorities. Polskie Radio Rzeszów produces and broadcasts the most refined genres of radio journalism, such as reportage and radio drama.In Rzeszów Radio these are programs for Ukrainian and Łemko minorities. The related achievements are presented in the article, which also discusses the findings of Radio Rzeszów monitoring conducted by the National Broadcasting Council as well as a survey commissioned by us.

    The paper presents results and analysis of research of the quality of service requirements (defined by the QoS attributes) for imaging data transmission services using Radio System for Monitoring and Acquisition of Data from Traffic Enforcement Cameras (in short RSMAD). The paper also presents and discusses results of test on the impact of the size of photos from traffic enforcement cameras on the average transmission time. These tests were conducted under conditions of actual operation of the RSMAD system. Basing on the obtained results, an analysis of the capacity, to provide in the RSMAD system required quality of service by different wireless data transmission systems, was performed.

    W artykule przedstawiono projekt mobilnej stacji monitoringu przestrzeni elektromagnetycznej. Został on zrealizowany w oparciu o odbiornik, RF Sensor N6841A firmy Agilent, zainstalowany w odpowiednio zaprojektowanym i przygotowanym 19-calowym racku. Całość, wraz z częścią zasilającą, komunikacyjną i sterującą, zabudowano na niewielkiej przyczepce samochodowej pozwalającej na uzyskanie mobilności systemu i bezprzewodową transmisję odbieranych danych.
    The article presents the prototype of the movable electromagnetic wave monitoring system. It was built using the N6841A receiver offered by Agilent Technologies. Both the receiver and communication and control systems were installed in especially designed and made 19” rack. The small car trailer was used to install equipment - rack, antennas, and power supply. The construction of a system allows for remote control of the system and wireless transmission of the data.

    This paper presents an algorithm that supports the dynamic spectrum access process in cognitive radio networks by generating a sorted list of best radio channels or by identifying those frequency ranges that are not in use temporarily. The concept is based on the reinforcement learning technique named Q-learning. To evaluate the utility of individual radio channels, spectrum monitoring is performed. In the presented solution, the epsilon-greedy action selection method is used to indicate which channel should be monitored next. The article includes a description of the proposed algorithm, scenarios, metrics, and simulation results showing the correct operation of the approach relied upon to evaluate the utility of radio channels and the epsilon-greedy action selection method. Based on the performed tests, it is possible to determine algorithm parameters that should be used in this proposed deployment. The paper also presents a comparison of the results with two other action selection methods.

    Important results of the Radio Frequencies Interference (RFI) at the National Space Centre, Sg Lang Selangor, Malaysia has been reported. In order to make sure that the data of solar monitoring in radio region is reliable, we need to study the variation of interference and the possible sources that contribute to this interference. This data has been taken from 1-2000 MHz at the main site of installation e-CALLISTO system. The study is one of a main part of an initiative of e-CALLISTO networking research in order to identify the main RFI sources and to monitor continuously the behavior of the RFI at the site. Our main objective is to qualify the potential of monitoring a continuous radio emission of the Sun. This work is also an initiative of the International Space Weather Initiative (ISWI) project where Malaysia is one of the countries that joined the e-CALLISTO network. Due to our results this site showed the positive impact for the solar monitoring purpose. It is hoped that the survey will continue from time to time in a consistent mode so that any polluted signal for radio astronomy purpose can be protected. Overall, we can still get a good solar burst data, especially at 40-400 MHz. Perhaps, we can contribute the good data for solar burst monitoring towards the maximum cycle beginning the end of this year 2013.

    Methods for synthesis a structural diagram of the processes for detecting and locating technical information leakage channels are analysed. Software for defining a controlled room zone was also presented. A proprietary approach to search the electromagnetic environment under radio interference has been developed to detect devices for unauthorized control of acoustic information using microphones and transmission of this information using a radio channel.
    Przedstawiono metody syntezy schematu strukturalnego procesów wykrywania i lokalizacji technicznych kanałów wycieku informacji. Przedstawiono także oprogramowanie do definiowania kontrolowanej strefy pomieszczenia. Opracowano autorskie podejście do przeszukiwania środowiska elektromagnetycznego w warunkach zakłóceń radiowych, w celu wykrywania urządzeń służących do niedozwolonej kontroli informacji akustycznej za pomocą mikrofonów i transmisji tej informacji z wykorzystaniem kanału radiowego.
