    The major problem associated with quality management is to maintain and improvement of the implemented pro-quality system. The purpose of this article was to determine the degree of use of methods and tools supporting analysis of the nonconformities in the polish companies with quality management systems fulfilling the requirements of ISO 9001. The results were prepared according to the size of the company. Due to the rare use of quality instruments indicated the reasons for such a situation.
    Ważnym problemem związanym z zarządzaniem jakością jest utrzymanie i doskonalenie wdrożonego systemu projakościowego. Celem artykułu było określenie stopnia wykorzystania metod i narzędzi jakościowych wspierających analizę niezgodności w polskich przedsiębiorstwach posiadających system zgodny z wymogami normy ISO 9001. Wyniki odniesiono do wielkości przedsiębiorstwa jako głównego kryterium zmienności. Z uwagi na rzadkie stosowanie instrumentów jakości wskazano przyczyny takiej sytuacji.

    The quality parameters of products should be controlled at every stage of the production process, since it allows detection of any problems even in the initial stages of production processes and removes their causes during manufacturing. Final control of products is intended to capture non-conforming products that did not go to the customers. The results of such controls should constantly be analysed. Such analysis can help to detect the most common problems, determine some dependences or identify the causes of such situations. A lot of different instruments that can support improvement of processes can be used for this kind of analysis. The paper presents the possibility of using some tools which can be utilized to support the analysis and assessment of quality of products at different stages of the production process. The quality analysis of exemplary products using selected quality methods and tolls is carried out. Metal sleeve, that is part of electronic control subassembly of anti-blocking system of ABS, which was the research component being studied.

    Artykuł koncentruje się na problematyce skuteczności metod, technik i narzędzi zarządzania jakością. Celem niniejszej publikacji jest analiza skuteczności metod, narzędzi i technik zarządzania jakością w branży obróbki metali przy wykorzystaniu metody analizy eksperckiej. W publikacji przedstawiono wyniki badań eksperckich dotyczących omawianego zakresu. Zaprezentowano sposób doboru ekspertów a następnie dokonano szczegółowej analizy narzędzi, metod i technik zarządzania jakością z punktu widzenia ich przydatności w branży obróbki metali. Dla poszczególnych instrumentów określono który z nich jest skuteczny. Dla poszczególnych instrumentów określono również współczynniki konkordancji ekspertów.
    The article focuses on the issue of the effectiveness of quality methods, techniques and tools. The aim of this publication is to analyze the effectiveness of quality management methods, tools and techniques in the metalworking industry using the expert analysis method. The publication presents the results of expert analysis on the discussed topic. The method of selection of experts was presented and then a detailed analysis of tools, methods and techniques of quality management from the point of view of their suitability in the metal processing industry was made. For each instrument we analyze which one is effective. The expert concordance coefficients have also been calculated for individual instruments.

    Artykuł koncentruje się na problematyce skuteczności systemów zarządzania jakością. Celem publikacji jest wykorzystanie rachunku zdań rozmytych do analizy porównawczej systemów zarządzania jakością dwóch organizacji z branży obróbki metali. Dwie organizacje do badań zostały wybrane na podstawie doboru celowego - ich szczegółowa charakterystyka jest przedstawiona w publikacji. Następnie stosując rachunek zdań rozmytych dokonano porównania badanych organizacji w zakresie założonych kryteriów. We wnioskach dokonano analizy różnic występujących w zakresie skuteczności badanych systemów zarządzania jakością.
    The article focuses on the issue of the effectiveness of quality management systems. The aim of the publication is to use the fuzzy-logic analysis for comparative analysis of quality management systems of two organizations from the metal processing industry. Two organizations for research were selected on the basis of purposeful selection - their detailed characteristics are presented in the publication. Then, using the fuzzy sentences analysis, a comparison of the surveyed organizations with regard to the assumed criteria was made. In the conclusions we analyzed the differences in the effectiveness of the quality management systems under examination.

    Opis:
    The subject of the considerations is the use of quality management instruments by local government units. The analysis of their activities shows that in their practice they implement quality-oriented measures in different areas. This fact is confirmed by public information available on the BIP website, describing, for example, the implementation of a given system or the use of a specific methodology or quality management tool. The legal bases for the use of quality management tools by local and regional authorities need to be examined in order to determine the content of the legal provision giving them the power to implement quality-related measures. Consequently, the article reaffirms the thesis on the legal admissibility of using the instruments of quality management by local government units, indicates its scope and formulates the concept of quality management instruments in the context of the functioning of local government.
    Przedmiotem rozważań jest prawna dopuszczalność stosowania instrumentarium zarządzania jakością przez jednostki samorządu terytorialnego. Z analizy podejmowanych przez nie działań wynika, że w swojej praktyce wykonują czynności nakierowane na osiąganie jakości w różnych obszarach. Potwierdzają ten fakt dostępne na stronach BIP informacje publiczne, opisujące np. wdrożenie danego systemu lub stosowanie konkretnej metody czy narzędzia zarządzania jakością. Oparcie funkcjonowania jednostek samorządowych na zasadzie związania prawem determinuje badanie podstaw prawnych pod kątem stosowania instrumentarium zarządzania jakością przez jednostki samorządu terytorialnego, w celu ustalenia treści normy prawnej, z której wynika kompetencja do podjęcia działań powiązanych z jakością. W konsekwencji artykuł potwierdza tezę o obowiązywaniu prawnej dopuszczalności stosowania instrumentarium zarządzania jakością przez jednostki samorządu terytorialnego, wskazuje na jej zakres oraz formułuje pojęcie instrumentarium zarządzania jakością w kontekście funkcjonowania samorządu terytorialnego.

    The analyses of the nonconformity of products are made in order to achieve the desired level of their quality. This is also the case in the analyzed enterprise located in south-eastern Poland. Due to production character in this enterprise to identify the incompatibilities of products the non-destructive tests are used. In the current approach to quality after identified the nonconformities the cause her arise were determined, it was noted in order to use by statistical analyzes. Unfortunately, no deeper qualitative analyzes were made which could specify the source of its creation. Therefore, it was considered that it is necessary to propose to use (near current actions according to nondestructive tests) the sequence of quality management instruments. In order to improve the quality control actions, the sequence of techniques which complement each other, i.e. non-destructive tests, Ishikawa diagram and 5Why method, was proposed. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed sequence, the rear cover of the bearing turbine was selected as the subject of the analysis. The choice was conditioned by the unit character of production, which till now was discouraged a detailed analysis of sources of nonconformities. After analyzed the product with used the fluorescent method the nonconformities were identified on the rear cover of the bearing turbine, which was the porosity cluster. In order to identify the causes these nonconformities the Ishikawa diagram was drawn up. Next, the selected main causes (i.e. supplier of the product and nonconformities created during the production of the product) were analyzed the 5Why method in order to identify the source cause of the problem. In this case, it was the nonconformity material from the supplier. The proposed sequence, which uses the minimal resources let to show the wide range of information, which should be used to the improvement of quality. The presented the set of activities can be practised in each of the enterprises to analyze quality problems in order to identify the nonconformities and their causes.

    The article describes the capabilities of TQM implementation in Polish organizations. It takes account of Polish conditions as well as the need of greater involvement of native managers in employing this concept for the development of entrepreneurs and non-commercial institutions.

    The study makes an attempt to model a complete vibrating guitar including its non-linear features, specifically the tension-compression of truss rod and tension of strings. The purpose of such a model is to examine the influence of design parameters on tone. Most experimental studies are flawed by uncertainties introduced by materials and assembly of an instrument. Since numerical modelling of instruments allows for deterministic control over design parameters, a detailed numerical model of folk guitar was analysed and an experimental study was performed in order to simulate the excitation and measurement of gitar vibration. The virtual guitar was set up like a real guitar in a series of geometrically non-linear analyses. Balancing of strings and truss rod tension resulted in a realistic initial state of deformation, which affected the subsequent spectral analyses carried out after dynamic simulations. Design parameters of the gitar were freely manipulated without introducing unwanted uncertainties typical for experimental studies. The study highlights the importance of acoustic medium in numerical models.

    The article describes software designed in National Institute of Telecommunication and his structure and functionality. Thes software was designed for data visualization on a PC computer. The data proceed from battery tests in telecommunication installations. The software, designed for TBA160-IŁ series, operate also with data from series: TBA2-IŁ, TBA59-IŁ and TBA150-IŁ.
