The research presented in the article focused on the determinants of protection aginst drone activity. At the beginning of the article the authors would like to propose one understandable definition of a drone. It was necessary to analyse air threats linked with the increased use of unmanned aerial vehicles or radio controlled aircraft. Furthermore, the authors divided drones by their technical capabilities. The next part of the article describes possible actions against drones and the possibility of recognizing them. The research was based on available literature.

Protection of civil society in national security system is one of the most important parts of it. Poland became to build some elements of civil defense in the beginning of XX century as a result of 1st World War. Polish system evolved and finally on 2007 transformed to crisic management system, which is still only a small part of similar system in European Union and NATO. Our legal system and organization must be adapted to present threats for political, economy and social system. Opis:
Flood embankments have played an important role in flood protection systems for centuries. Tightness evaluation of water structures should result in determining whether floods may cause seepage incidents, consequently leading to their damage or even destruction. It is assumed that the time of water passage from the river to the protected area under steady-state conditions can be a good indicator of the embankment resistance to long-term water rise. The curve of water passage times shows the values obtained at different ordinates of the dammed water and can be regarded as a characteristic parameter of flood embankment tightness. Determination of the water passage time (Tp) additionally requires finding the trajectory along which this time is the shortest possible. However, there is no need to analyse the unsteady filtration, which requires the determination of an initial condition and the course of time-dependent boundary conditions. Engineers in practice, often use the time Tpp which elapses from the beginning of flooding to the occurrence of seepage in the protected area. The relationship between the passage time (Tp) and the seepage onset time (Tpp) was analysed on a model example. Practical use of the curve of passage times is showed on the example of the reconstruction of the left-bank Warta embankment in the area of Konin.

W artykule przedstawiono specyfikę ochrony dużych obiektów sportowych przed skutkami wyładowań atmosferycznych. Omówiono zasady ochrony tych obiektów przed bezpośrednim uderzeniem pioruna oraz sposoby ograniczenia przepięć powstających w instalacjach elektroenergetycznych oraz sterujących i pomiarowych zainstalowanych w takich obiektach. Wskazano konieczność indywidualnego rozwiązywania systemów ochronnych.
This paper presents the specific protection of the larger sport structure against lightning strokes. Protection principles of such structures against both direct lightning strokes as well as ways surge protection in the power, control and measurement installations are discussed. It has been stated that the individual protective systems are needed.

Modern science can distinguish three main types of the origin of threats caused by human activities for the ecology and environmental safety of the planet, country, region, or city. We emphasize, that these threats have appeared in the sphere of material production, and the threats that arise in the sphere of waste management and consumption. We underline, the phenomenon of material production, on the one hand, satisfies all the basic needs of society, and on the other hand, threatens environmental safety. Material production has actualized the needs of consumers, and nowadays consumers themselves are an integral part of ecosystem life. Therefore, we underline that the current situation in Ukraine when scientific economic and legal thought in matters of ensuring environmental safety underestimates the importance of the consumer protection system for solving this problem, focusing mainly on the issues of business entities sounds rather questionable. Therefore, such excess in scientific research makes it necessary to justify the impact of the consumer protection system on environmental safety and this is the issues on which we have concentrated our research.

Water always had and still has an influence on places where people settle down. After each bigger flood, man usually did some alterations in already existing buildings and erected new ones. He raised the embankments but scarcely ever noticed the need to verify some spatial solutions in town planning. As the result of this strategy we are facing the mans growing influence on landscape. This process causes the increasing costs of flood losses and renovation of the damaged infrastructure. We can observe here a vicious circle of humans actions and reactions of natural powers. On this background the author describes the history of the waterway regulations and flood protection investments in city of Wroclaw.

The purpose of the article is attempt to define the institutions intended to human rights protect in Poland, as a foundation of the human rights system. Using a basic terminology of the concept and range, author point to the existence of structures and mechanisms forms of protections against the by selected unlawful infringement in the basic human rights.

System Karty Miejskiej to elektroniczny system przepływu danych i środków finansowych oraz innych informacji umożliwiających pobieranie opłat. Celem wdrożenia systemu karty miejskiej jest optymalizacja kosztów funkcjonowania miejskiego transportu i usług wraz z bezgotówkowym sposobem pobierania opłat. Istnieją zagrożenia nieprawnego korzystania z usług miejskich poprzez przełamywanie zabezpieczeń systemowych, stąd jest potrzebne określenie minimalnych wymagań funkcjonalnych systemu karty miejskiej, który sprawi duże trudności osobom mającym na celu nieprawne korzystanie z zasobów karty miejskiej.
The City Card is an electronic data transfer system and financial and other information to enable charging. Purpose of implementation of the card is to optimize the cost of municipal operation of urban transport and services with cashless toll way. Dangers exist unlawful use of municipal services bybreaking security system hence it is necessary to determine the minimum functional requirements of transport card system, which will make it very difficult for those who have unlawful use of the resources of the city card.

W artykule zostanie zaprezentowany system cyfrowych zabezpieczeń i pomiarów dla rozdzielni SN opracowany w firmie Relpol S.A. zakład Polon w Zielonej Górze. Zaprezentowane zostaną najważniejsze możliwości urządzenia wraz z jego budową sprzętową i najważniejszymi modułami programowymi. Przedstawione zostaną także możliwe obszary zastosowań omawianego systemu.
The paper presents a digital protection and measurement system for medium voltage distribution stations developed in the Relpol S.A. company, division Polon in Zielona Góra. The system comprises of several hardware components and modules of specialized software. Their role and functionality are briefly explained in the paper. Thanks to the modular construction, it is possible to fast adapt the equipment to dynamically changing expectations and needs. The system uses the real-time operating system Windows CE, and specialized software which provides protection and metering functions. The status of the system and setup is presented by a graphic user interface using a colour LCD screen with touch control support - Fig 1. Protection functions require fast measurement of many primary quantities like phase currents and voltages as well as zero components of voltages and currents. The primary quantities are used to calculate many derivative values used then by digital protection functions. The system protection functions should react within the time of 60 ms after detecting a dangerous situation like a phase short circuit or a ground short circuit. It is mandatory, in the light of legal provisions, that all important information should be saved in personal medical documentation of a patient. This procedure is of vital importance, because it not only records the medical treatment of a given patient applied by medical staff, but it also provides a form of mutual informing on the patient’s condition during diagnosis and therapy. The procedure for creating and providing access to medical documentation has not been audited by NIK to date. However, pre-audit examination revealed that the manner in which such documentation is kept does not meet the current standards, and that patients have difficulties with accessing their documentation when they wish to continue treatment at another medical entity, or when they claim that a doctor has made a mistake during therapy.

Ponadto zostanie omówiony system sterowania maszyn wyciągowych dwusilnikowych największych mocy pracujących w układzie Punga oraz w układzie z dwoma obwodami głównymi, opracowany w ITI EMAG.
The articles describes a digital control and protection system for converters used to supply converter driving systems of hoisting machines with DC motors. The article features the issues related to the control of a converter based on the algorithms of 12-pulse sequential and simultaneous control. Additionally, the articles presents a control system of two-motor high-power hoisting machines working in the Punga system and in the system with two main circuits which was developed at EMAG.
