    Opis:
    This paper presents a control application programming concept based on attributive logic and context-based reasoning. General features and benefits, comparied with other contemporary approaches, are given. The proposed solution is targeted at electric machine tests and diagnostics. An illustrative example of programming an induction motor no-load test which compares the proposed solution with a Matlab-based application is also given.
    Artykuł prezentuje koncepcję programowania aplikacji kontrolno-pomiarowych opartą na logice atrybutowej i wnioskowaniu kontekstowym. Przedstawione są ogólne zasady proponowanego podejścia i osiągane korzyści w stosunku do używanych obecnie metod. Przykładem, na którym omówiono sposób tego rodzaju programowania są aplikacje kontrolno-pomiarowe tworzone z myślą o próbach i diagnostyce maszyn elektrycznych. Zamieszczono przykład zaimplementowanej procedury pomiarowej: próby biegu jałowego maszyny indukcyjnej.

    Poszukiwaniu szybkich metod oceny przydatności materiałów w zastosowaniach do budowy elementów maszyn pracujących w podwyższonych temperaturach i zmiennych naprężeniach towarzyszy rozwój urządzeń ułatwiających tego typu badania. W artykule przedstawiono metodę programowania przebiegu testów w klasycznym urządzeniu do prób pełzania przy jednoosiowym rozciąganiu. Metoda umożliwia wykonywanie normatywnych testów pełzania (PN-EN ISO 204) oraz dedykowanych testów o programowanych obciążeniach niskocyklowych oraz różnych profilach zmian temperatury i naprężenia. Przedstawiono sposób przygotowania testów badawczych oraz uzyskiwane przebiegi, w tym symulacje rzeczywistych obciążeń elementów maszyn pracujących w warunkach zmiennych temperatur i naprężeń. Uzyskana, z wykorzystaniem przedstawionej metody, funkcjonalność urządzenia pozwala na badania nad nowymi procedurami oceny trwałości elementów maszyn i instalacji w przemyśle energetycznym, lotnictwie, przemyśle petrochemicznym i chemicznym.
    The search for quick methods for the assessment of usefulness of materials for structural machine elements operating at elevated temperatures and changeable stresses is accompanied by a significant development of devices enabling designers to perform the tests. The paper presents a programming method for the test run of the classical machine for uniaxial creep testing in tension. The method allows one to conduct normative creep tests (according to PN-EN ISO 204 standard) and dedicated tests with programmable low-cycle loads as well as varied temperature and stress change profiles. Preparation of the research test and the obtained results are presented. The results also contain the simulation of the real load of machines operating under variable temperature and stress. Using the presented method, the func-tionality of the device allows research on new procedures for evaluating the durability of machines and installations in the energy industry, aerospace, petrochemical and chemical industries.

The research test preparation and obtained results are presented. The results also contain a simulation of the real burden of machines operating under variable temperatures and stresses. Using the presented method, the functionality of the device allows research on new procedures for evaluating the durability of machines and installations in the energy industry, aerospace, petrochemical and chemical industries.

    Opis:
    This study investigates a digital control system which is used in bearingless permanent magnet synchronous motors (BPMSMs). Compared with traditional permanent magnet synchronous motors, a BPMSM is characterized by higher speed and no mechanic friction. Therefore, the application value of the latter to the special area is higher than that of the former. An analysis from previous work on the BPMSM had proved its feasibility, and some performances such as suspension force, inductance and so on were also investigated. Based on this analysis, this study focuses on solving control problems in practical applications by designing a control system. The control system design includes overall schematic, hardware and software designs. Main software systems, including the force/current transform module and closed loop control module for radial displacement, are analyzed. Interface circuit for radial displacement, current feedback circuit and dead zone protection circuit are designed for the hardware system. Finally, several performance experiments have been conducted to verify the effectiveness of the designed digital control system. Experiment results indicate that the rotor has unique characteristics, such as stable suspension performance, good start-of-suspension performance, and rapid anti-disturbance features.

    The research aims to recognize the potential of adopting the model-based design methodology to the development process of an LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) fuelling system. Changing regulations often force the modern development of internal combustion engines (Euro 7, CO2 reduction measures, etc.). With the definitive ban on new registrations of vehicles powered by internal combustion engines in Europe (planned for 2035), there is still ongoing development of the adaptation of the fuelling system to LPG. There is still market potential in adapting new internal combustion engines, usually equipped with direct injection systems, to reduce customers’ cost of ownership of a vehicle. As the engineering process should be accelerated in the face of the variety of direct injection systems offered by OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), the model-based design methodology is proposed to make the development more effective. The article presents the SWOT analysis of this approach in the engineering process and the potential of the method in an LPG system development is concluded.
