The paper focuses on a topic concerning the students’ professional future. Students more often and more are prepared to leave the labor market. In addition to the ongoing higher education they get their education at a variety of courses and trainings; they increase their skills in workshops or attend internships and practices to become attractive candidates for the job in the eyes of a potential employer. At this point a number of questions raises, such as: do students choose their future profession consciously? what do they expect from the future profession? are they interested in working abroad after graduation? etc. According to the Forbes, logistician profession was in the top ten most popular professions in 2013 in Poland. That is why the objective of the paper was to identify the expectations of students who study Logistics at the Faculty of Engineering Management, Poznan University of Technology.

Background: A professional future is the next logical step after a student completes their chosen degree course. More frequently, even during their studies, young people seek opportunities to participate in various conferences, training courses, internships, work placements, and to travel abroad, etc. All of this has one main goal - to increase the student's attractiveness as a potential employee on the labour market. Thus, it becomes very important to ask relevant and timely questions to students about the knowledge they gain during their studies, the skills they possess and how they perceive their future work. Methods: This paper presents the views of students of logistics and related disciplines regarding their future careers. The aim of this study was to investigate the expectations, skills and visions of the future of the young generation who stand at the threshold of their careers, in two countries - Poland and Ukraine. The test method used for collecting opinions was a questionnaire. Results: This paper recognises key elements of young people's perception of the labour market. They present a brief theoretical discussion on the issue in question. The authors present the results of the comparison of attitudes of students from two universities in Poland and in Ukraine, in four areas: Participant's Profiles; Professional Attractiveness; Obtained Knowledge and Skills; Employment. Conclusions: Contemporary logistics requires professionals of the highest calibre, which is confirmed by many respected authorities. The research results show a preview of the preferences of students of logistics and related disciplines in terms of future work, and give information about the knowledge they gained during their studies. Comparison of the two groups of participants from different countries gives the opportunity to observe the aspirations and visions of each , as well as propose recommendations aimed at signalling the possibility of improving the situation of graduates in relation to their future employment.
Wstęp: Przyszłość zawodowa to kolejny logiczny krok studenta po ukończeniu obranego kierunku studiów. Coraz częściej, jeszcze w trakcie realizowanych studiów, młodzi ludzie poszukują możliwości uczestniczenia w różnego rodzaju konferencjach, szkoleniach, stażach, praktykach, wyjazdach za granicę itp. Wszystkie podejmowane w tym zakresie działania mają na myśli główny cel - zwiększyć swoją atrakcyjność jako potencjalnego pracownika na rynku pracy. Niezwykle ważnym więc staje się postawienie istotnych i aktualnych pytań w kierunku studenta, dotyczących pozyskiwanej w trakcie studiów wiedzy, posiadanych umiejętności czy też postrzegania swojej przyszłej pracy. Metody: Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje poglądy studentów kierunku logistyka i jej pokrewnych w stosunku ich przyszłej pracy zawodowej. Celem prowadzonych badań było poznanie oczekiwań, kompetencji i wizji przyszłości młodego pokolenia, które stoi u progu kariery zawodowej, w dwóch państwach - Polsce i Ukrainie. Metoda badawcza, która była zastosowana do zebrania opinii to kwestionariusz ankiety. Wyniki: Artykuł ujmuje główne przesłanki dyktowane przez rynek pracy dla młodych osób. Przedstawiają krótkie teoretyczne rozważania na temat podjętego problemu. Autorzy przedstawiają wyniki porównawcze opinii studentów dwóch uczelni wyższych w Polsce i Ukrainie w czterech obszarach: Profil Respondenta; Atrakcyjność zawodowa; Uzyskane wiedzy i umiejętności; Zatrudnienie. Wnioski: Współczesna logistyka wymaga specjalistów najwyższej jakości, co potwierdza wiele znanych autorytetów. Badania ukazują podgląd na preferencje studentów kierunku logistyka i jej pokrewnych w zakresie przyszłej pracy, a także przekazują informację na temat pozyskiwanej w czasie studiów wiedzy. Porównanie dwóch grup studentów uczelni wyższych z różnych państw daje możliwość zaobserwowania aspiracji i wizji każdej z nich, a także wysunąć rekomendacje, mające na celu zasygnalizowanie możliwości poprawy sytuacji absolwentów szkół wyższych w stosunku do poszukiwanej pracy.

The proposed text is an illustration of research conducted in the first half of 2016 years of empirical verification planning future educational and vocational secondary school and upper secondary youth in Gniezno. When analyzing the situation of the local labor market and its prospects for the group of respondents was done between other high school students, because they are in a few years will include the labor market and indirectly (now) affect its shape. The awareness of their plans but allows us to predict, and thus the possibility of remedying causing difficulties in the labor market. In proposed project groups of respondents they were done as teenagers of secondary schools, directors of secondary schools and the largest local employers. Article focuses on students with special educational needs and on  issues concerning the condition of vocational education and educational and professional choices of young people, taken over their strategies in relation to the current needs of the local labor market

Introduction/background: Nowadays realities of social life create the need for unified, fundamental mechanisms of forming the motivation of future managers for their comprehensive understanding of not only the economic processes, but also the peculiarities of human life. That’s why the particular importance becomes to improving the professional training of future managers in the context of forming their health-oriented management skills. Aim of the paper: To substantiate the neediness and features of formation the health-oriented management skills of students-future managers in Ukraine. Materials and methods: The research was conducted during 2020-2021. The study involved 345 persons from Lviv region (Ukraine): 320 persons aged from 25 to 55 years, who work in the organizations and 25 students of the third and fourth years of study, which are trained in the specialty “Management”). The following research methods were applied: theoretical analysis and synthesis of professional scientific literature, analysis of Internet resources, pedagogical observation, surveys (questionnaires). Results and conclusions: The research data indicate the neediness to change not only the structure, content, forms, and methods of the system of professional training of future managers for the formation of their competence in health-oriented management issues, but also to search the new, non-standard motivational factors. The educational system of training of future managers, which includes the mechanisms of formation their readiness for health- oriented management, should be specially structured and include certain motivational parts, components and indicators. Management which is based on a human-centred approach, focused on the fact that the highest value of the organization is not just human resources, but the health of each individual employee, we define as health-oriented management. Using of substantive theories of motivation for the training system in health-oriented management for the future management is a necessary condition for their successful future professional activity.

The mini-research deals with the nature, structure and functions of managers’ intercultural professional interaction competence as a form of social interaction. Managers are the leading element in the social interaction "businesses - society", on the one hand, they bear the burden of social responsibility, on the other, they have to sacrifice their individual values to meet the requirements of their companies and company’s owners and make professional decisions that conflict their personal ones. It may lead to “moral schizophrenia‟ [1, p. 25], because managers lack knowledge of social problems, skills of a decision-maker, and experience in this field. The analysis of the scientific research in this field has shown that the term “intercultural competence” is mostly conceptualized as an individual’s capacity to interact with people who represent different cultures. But the term “intercultural professional interaction competence” has not been defined yet. The nature, structure and functions of the phenomenon have been identified on the multidisciplinary approach base as the following: it is a joint productive activity based on agent-agent relations; it is a form of social responsibility; the nature of intercultural professional interaction is communication that has the multilevel structure; each level of the structure has its aim, function, means of interaction that influence the communicating strategy of conversational partners and, therefore, the outcome of intercultural professional interaction. The article highlights pedagogical conditions of training managers intercultural professional interaction as one of managers’ professional competence, such as: 1) creation of intercultural professional communicative learning environment; 2) facilitating communication; 3) students’ self-managed and autonomous learning. The principles specific for training will-be managers the professional intercultural interaction are the principle of the rationality in the relationships and the harmonization of the relationships.
