Nebezpečenstvo je stav alebo charakteru pracovného procesu, ktorý môže poškodiť zdravie študenta alebo zamestnanca. To je dôvod, prečo prevencia - vo forme pravidelných stretnutí organizovaných ako súčasť vzdelávacieho procesu - je nevyhnutná. Cieľom pravidelne organizovaných stretnutí (napr. odborné semináre, prednášky a praktické cvičenia) pre študentov je zoznámiť sa s dôležitosťou vzdelávania v oblasti BOZP (vrátane chemickej bezpečnosti, správnej manipulácie s chemickými látkami, poskytnutím prvej pomoci pri ohrození života a zdravia a neodkladným zásahom pri záchrane majetku). Príspevok poukazuje na dôležitosť vzdelávania v oblasti dodržiavania zásad bezpečnej práce a ochrany zdravia študentov - budúcich učiteľov chémie.
The danger is the state or the characteristics of working process that can damage the health of a student or an employee. That is why the prevention – in the form of regular organized sessions as a part of educational process – is inevitable. The aim of the sessions (such as seminars, lectures and as well as practical trainings) for students is to become familiar with the importance of OHS education (including chemical safety, proper manipulation with chemical substances, providing first aid when life-threatening situations take place, as well as immediate intervention when material assets are in danger). The article proves the importance of education in field of respecting the safe work and the prevention of students health – future teachers of chemistry.

Wzory osobowe mają duży wpływ na formowanie się młodego człowieka, w tym również kandydata do zawodu nauczyciela. Wynika to z rozwojowej potrzeby posiadania wzorca w zakresie formowanego systemu wartości, postaw, zachowań i cech osobowych. Posiadanie wzorców osobowych jest też ważne z perspektywy kształcenia do zawodu nauczyciela, rozwoju kompetencji zawodowych oraz kształtowania się tożsamości. W artykule skoncentrowano się na wzorach osobowych nauczycieli obecnych w doświadczeniach osobistych kandydatów do tego zawodu. Celem badań było określenie wzorca nauczyciela (kategorie i cechy w obrębie celów życiowych, motywów działań i zachowań oraz cech osobowych) obecnego w życiu przyszłych nauczycieli szkół artystycznych. Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że studenci uczelni artystycznej posiadają wciąż obecne i warunkujące rozwój wzorce osobowe w postaci nauczycieli ze szkół artystycznych.
Personal patterns have a great influence on the formation of a young person, including a candidate for the teaching profession. This is effect to the developmental need to have a pattern in the formed system of values, attitudes, behaviours and personal characteristics. Having personal patterns is also important from the perspective of training for the teaching profession, developing professional competences and shaping identity. The article focuses on the personal models of teachers present in the personal experiences of candidates for this profession. The aim of the research was to determine the teacher’s pattern (categories and characteristics within life goals, motives for actions and behaviours and personal characteristics) present in the lives of future teachers of art schools. The conducted research shows that students of an art university still have the current personal patterns that determine their development in the form of teachers from art schools.

This article refers to the issue of professional competences of photography and film teachers working in the secondary arts school, in the light of the changes taking place in multimedia technology. The dynamic development of these technologies makes it necessary to adapt the teachers of photography and film to these conditions. Against these circumstances, it indicates the need for research on the competences in order to formulate appropriate proposals and guidelines for the professional multimedia preparation of that group of teachers, as well as further training and improvement.

WstępCelem badań było ustalenie roli i związków pomiędzy wybranymi wymiarami osobowości a wypaleniem zawodowym wśród strażaków zawodowych i ochotników. Pracując w ryzykownych warunkach, są oni narażeni nie tylko na utratę zdrowia, ale także życia. Z takimi warunkami pracy może być związane wypalenie zawodowe, polegające na wyczerpaniu psychicznym pracownika.Materiał i metodyGrupę badaną stanowiło 164 mężczyzn, w tym 76 strażaków ochotników Ochotniczej Straży Pożarnej (OSP) w wieku 19–61 lat (M = 32,49, SD = 9,21) oraz 88 strażaków zawodowych Państwowej Straży Pożarnej (PSP) w wieku 20–49 lat (M = 33,85, SD = 10,05). W badaniach wykorzystano: Kwestionariusz wypalenia zawodowego Maslach, Listę przymiotnikową Gougha i Heilburna wraz z Modelem osobowościowo-aksjologicznym (MOA) (kompetencje, relacje, autonomia) Mróz.WynikiUzyskane wyniki wskazują na różnice między badanymi grupami strażaków w wymiarach osobowości (m.in. Ord: t = –2,739, p = 0,006; Mls: t = –2,159, p = 0,032; kompetencje: t = –2,390, p = 0,017). Badania umożliwiły również ocenę związków korelacyjnych wypalenia zawodowego. Największy związek z wypaleniem zawodowym w grupie strażaków ochotników wykazuje potrzeba akceptacji (Suc) i całkowite wypalenie zawodowe, a największy związek z wypaleniem zawodowym w grupie strażaków zawodowych wykazuje wymiar kompetencji z modelu MOA.WnioskiWyniki przeprowadzonych badań należy odnieść do aspektu poznawczego (zastosowanie nowego modelu MOA w tej grupie zawodowej) oraz zwrócenia uwagi na różnice osobowościowe między grupami strażaków OSP i PSP. Uzyskane wyniki mają również wartość aplikacyjną w kontekście efektywniejszej pracy psychologów z tą grupą zawodową. Med. Pr. 2021;72(5):509–519
BackgroundThe purpose of this research was to examine the relationships between selected personality dimensions and occupational burnout among professional and volunteer firefighters. Difficult conditions are the cause of loss of not only health but also life. Such working conditions may cause occupational burnout consisting of employee’s exhaustion.Material and MethodsThe group under examination consisted of 164 firefighters, including 76 volunteers aged 19–61 years (M = 32.49, SD = 9.21) and 88 professional firefighters aged 20–49 years (M = 33.85, SD = 10.05). This research employed the Maslach Burnout Inventory and Gough and Heilburn’s Adjective Check List along with the Personality and Axiological Model (MOA) (competences, relations, autonomy).ResultsThe results of the conducted research indicate differences between the examined groups of firefighters in personality dimensions (Ord: t = –2.739, p = 0.006; Mls: t = –2.159, p = 0.032; competences t = –2.390, p = 0.017). The research also enabled assessing the correlations with occupational burnout. The greatest relationship with occupational burnout in the group of volunteer firefighters concerns succorance (Suc) and total occupational burnout, and the greatest relationship with occupational burnout in the group of professional firefighters pertains to the competence dimension from the MOA model.ConclusionsThe results of the conducted research should be related to the cognitive aspect (the application of the new MOA model in this professional group) and attention should be paid to the personality differences between the groups of volunteer and professional firefighters. A lively discussion on cultural differences and the growing need for the development of intercultural communication were the impetus for writing this work. Article includes within its scope examination of the level of intercultural sensitivity of the professional athletes. For the implementation of the main and specific objectives set in the study was based on Intercultural Sensitivity Scale developed by Chen and Starosta. It takes into account five dimensions: interaction engagement, respect for cultural differences, interaction confidence, interaction enjoyment and interaction attentivenes. The collected research material shows that fact of playing in foreign club is significant factor differentiating the level of intercultural sensitivity. The study pointed out the development model of intercultural sensitivity Bennett.
Ożywiona dyskusja na temat różnic kulturowych oraz rosnące potrzeby rozwoju komunikacji międzykulturowej były bodźcem do napisania niniejszej pracy. Artykuł obejmuje swym zakresem badanie poziomu wrażliwości międzykulturowej osób wyczynowo uprawiających sport. Do realizacji celu głównego oraz celów szczegółowych postawionych w pracy wykorzystano Skalę Wrażliwości Międzykulturowej stworzoną przez Chena i Starostę. Uwzględnia ona pięć wymiarów: zaangażowanie w interakcję, szacunek dla różnic kulturowych, pewność w interakcji, przyjemność z interakcji i uwagę w interakcji. Zebrany materiał badawczy wskazuje istotny czynnik różnicując7y poziom wrażliwości międzykulturowej w postaci gry w zagranicznym klubie. W pracy wskazano model rozwoju wrażliwości międzykulturowej Bennetta.

The Professional developmenmt of a teacher in the XXI century should be a standard. Especially among young teachers who just begins to follow his professional way. Interest of a man determines his choice of professional carrier. Furthermore while doing his job interests may pointing the direction of completion or achieving new professional competences, which might be useful during a carrier. In this article the review of apropriate literature is made in order to define competences and interests. Also characteristic of classifications of professional competences of teachers was made. By means of descritption and analyse of own researches the author tries to revill the impact of interests on taken professional development by young teachers. She describes also different forms of professional development taken by teachers and their actual interests.

The aim of this article is to present results of a study concerning the level of social competences displayed by students of tourism and recreation and how it relates to their work experience. The author hypothesized that the fact of being employed could help to differentiate between different levels of social competences in the student population. Factors such as the length of work experience, positions held, work abroad, internships, and voluntary work were analysed. The study was based on quantitative and qualitative data collected using such tools such as the Social Competence Questionnaire and the Questionnaire for Self-Assessment of Student’s Professional Achievements in order to identify forms of professional activity among the respondents. Full-time students of tourism and recreation were found to have an average level of social competences, and their work experience, considered as a form of social training, did not differentiate between different levels of social competence. No statistically significant correlations were found between the level of social competence and internships at secondary schools, internships at university, work experience in general and in tourism and recreation in particular, and voluntary work. Also, positions held did not differentiate the level of social competence. It could therefore be concluded that the respondents’ work experience was too short to have a measurable effect on the level of their social competences, which take much more time to develop and depend on personal and environmental factors.

The volunteer work becomes an important element of the public domain which needs qualitative changes and creation of a new social consciousness. Characteristic features of the volunteer work are mainly connected with the fact that it focuses on a human being in need. They can also be connected with social work as a supporting activity for people in various difficult situations. Although the history of social work shows many examples of relations between volunteer work and professional social work – contemporary volunteer work cannot be identified with social work. However, the activities of many students of social studies in associations and non-governmental organizations are very important for their personal and professional development, creating their competences and gaining experiences for the future professional work. Reflections concerning the volunteer work and its role in the field of social work education are important and may be treated as an element of discussion concerning education in connection with democracy and social/public activity in general. The article includes theoretical analysis of the selected aspects of volunteer work and professional social work, discovering the possible similarities and differences between those forms of social activity and emphasizing the role of volunteer work in shaping the professional competences within the field of social work.

The proposed research is focused on and maps the various methods of communication of students who study master teaching courses at Faculty of Education (or existing elementary and secondary teachers) in the pedagogical practice. The experience with the project will lead to improve the preparation of future teachers (student) and improve approach of the preparing teachers. Present educational system imposes high requirements on teachers of all levels. Personality development is marginalized in teacher training, mainly the development of creative abilities and skills to solve conceptual matters and dynamic changes in the educational process. One of the ways of improvement the personality and professional development is to include the case study method. Case study method of didactic situations is a modern procedure of effective development of professional abilities in future teachers.

To obtain employment university graduate is obliged to develop, aside from professional skills, a capital of social and stress-coping competencies. To achieve these, transgressive behavior is required. The objective of the study was to present levels of transgressive behavior, social competences, styles of coping with stress and their mutual relations among university students. Eighty-four students (men and women) of Opole University were surveyed. Correlations between social competencies and transgressive behavior were observed i.e. social exposition effectiveness correlated with assertiveness and task-oriented style of coping. Gender differences were also observed i.e. male students were more assertive than females students. Results suggest that there is a need for the increase of levels the individual abilities in order to increase the chance to obtain employment.

The article presents an updated model of playing a computer game as the user’s interaction with its system, taking into consideration audiovisuality as the fundamental channel for computer-human communication. Interactivity is an inherent property of computer games, which clearly distinguishes them from other kinds of games: it is therefore a defining feature of computer games. On the other hand, audiovisuality is a necessary characteristic, following from the communication between the computer and its user, taking place mainly in the channel of synchronized image and sound, which is dominant in human perception. The point of departure for the model development is an analysis of human interaction with the machine which runs the game system; in the model, there is a dynamic change from interactivity of a computer game to a human being’s interaction with the computer while playing, which makes it possible to fully account for the complexity of the situation of playing a computer game. The presented model combines the ludic aspect of a computer game (interactive entertainment) with the capacity to convey messages (an audiovisual cultural text), and from a commmunicative perspective, it unambiguously assigns a human being the role of the subject using a computer game.

The aim of the article is to indicate the importance of the role of the professional environment in shaping social competences. In the dynamically changing reality, due to the continuous development of science and technology, the process of professional improvement and updating knowledge is the basis for the effective performance of duties by employees. The level of social competence has a decisive impact on the level of human specialisation, its responsibility to perform various social roles and, therefore, is important in the professional life of every human being.

The present paper is the result of a reflection on the professional competences of early childhood teachers. The original understanding of specialised artistic competences of the early childhood teachers was presented in conceptual terms and an attempt was made to present the original model of the specialised artistic competences of early childhood teachers in the form of a three-segment structure, created by the distinguished areas of this competence, named by the author as domains of competence, together with their components and basic indicators. The study is addressed to researchers studying this issue and teachers of early school education, it is also supposed to be a voice in the discussion on shaping and development of the specialised artistic competences of early childhood teachers and, according to the author, to encourage reflection in this field.

Opis:
The issues of professional training for future environmental engineers training are considered in the article. The methodical bases of teaching environmental monitoring have been developed and substantiated for the application in the learning process through the implementation of inter-disciplinary approach. The basic components of training future environmental engineers have been defined and analysis of the formation of professional system-modeling competencies in environ-mental monitoring have been conducted.

Opis:
Purpose: The aim of the article is to present organizational competences of Emergency Medical Units (EMU) in the areas of marketing (recognizing the patient's needs), quality (the level of medical services) and logistics (a provision of medical services in the right place) during the time of the COVID 19 pandemic, influenced by managerial and professional competencies, and to identify those that have become particularly important in the period of the pandemic. Design/methodology/approach: The proposed lists of managerial (five domains) and professional competencies (eight domains) were created and are based on the analysis of healthcare competencies models – the study of the literature – and the author of this paper’s observations of the analyzed entities. There were 57 respondents weighing managerial competences and 135 respondents assessing professional competences. Findings: As a result of the research, it is determined that the highest level among the professional competencies presented in the model (in all areas) is characterized by transportation competencies. The most undoubtedly framing organizational competences of EMU were managerial competencies: in marketing area Business Competencies and Professional and Social Competencies in quality and logistic areas. Practical implications: Currently health systems are being faced with briskly growing necessity developed by the COVID-19 outbreak. A well-organized and adapted health system has the scope to manage decent access to fundamental service delivery throughout an emergency, restraining direct mortality and avoiding heightened indirect mortality. Originality/value: An integration personal competencies (professional and managerial) with organizational competences of Emergency Medical Units especially relevant in pandemic time.
