The article examines the relationship between object-orientation and transformations of manufacturing processes. For this purpose, the information- enterprise was defined, as characterized by a change of balance between the processing of materials and processing of information. In section 1 the genesis of the considered transformations was identified, proposing their classification on three levels. Section 2 was devoted to the characteristics of the information-enterprise as an organization of self-learning, virtuality, networking and bio organization. The importance of industrial development trends 4.0 was mentioned. In section 3 features of object-oriented programming were connected to examples of solutions in industrial practice. The business model of information and its surroundings was defined. The summary pointed out the advantages of object-oriented approach to transformations in production.

Making a good production planning is a first step to produce products in effective and efficient ways. A good production planning needs information about the real conditions in the shop-floor. Without knowing the actual conditions in the shop-floor, it will be difficult to plan production well. In order to know the conditions of the shop-floor, a production monitoring system is needed. This paper deals with development of integrated product model for supporting production monitoring system on an automobile assembly industry. The integration of information between the production controls with the shop-floor is needed to build a production monitoring system. One way to integrate the two systems is by using a product model that is a representation of a real product. In general, the research method used in this research is the development of product models and other related models. The modelling concept used in this research is object oriented modelling. After that, this research also has developed a database in accordance with the developed models and interfaces used to manipulate them. The main proposed models in this research are the product type model and the product model. The product type model is the product model that represents the product designs. On the other hand, the product model is a model that represents the actual products. If the data on the product type model is relatively static, then the data on the product model is dynamic depending on the state of the real product. Each product model will have production sequence processes in accordance with the sequence processes of the represented product. Each time a process of real product is finished, and then the related process model in the product model will be updated. The condition of the processes that has occurred in the shop-floor will be known by manipulating data of the product models.

Opis:
The article deals with the characteristics of input and output data, which are necessary for manufacturing of machine parts of special purpose vehicles. It shows the relations between the individual manufacturing objects by means of information flow analysis within CAPP. It is possible to create several process plans for every engineering part and consequently use one of them in specific manufacturing conditions that are optimal according to the selected criterion. The analysis of information flow can considerably help with the process plan selection and, in result, with effectiveness or quality increasing.
Artykuł dotyczy charakterystyki danych wejściowych i wyjściowych, które są niezbędne do produkcji części maszyn do pojazdów specjalnego przeznaczenia. Pokazuje zależności między poszczególnymi obiektami produkcyjnymi za pomocą analizy przepływu informacji w ramach CAPP. Możliwe jest stworzenie kilku planów procesów dla każdej części inżynierskiej i w konsekwencji użycie jednego z nich w konkretnych warunkach produkcji, które są optymalne zgodnie z wybranym kryterium. Analiza przepływu informacji może znacznie pomóc w wyborze planu procesu, a tym samym zwiększyć jego efektywność lub jakość.

Opis:
Appearance of flexible supply networks can be seen as a response to changes in global markets, being a step beyond the linear supply chain topography. However, when dealing with multiple organizations and multiple processes within a complicated network, identifying and locating a member that has responsibility and/or competence in a particular part of the network can be a laborious, time-consuming process. Knowledge sharing is aimed to assist in solving this problem. The approach presented is based on application of such technologies as ontology and context management, constraint satisfaction and profiling. Ontologies provide for semantic interoperability between flexible supply network members. Usage of the context makes it possible to consider current situation in order to provide for actual knowledge or information. Competence profiles of the supply network members facilitate knowledge sharing and simplify partner selection. They allow formalizing and sharing member's knowledge and competencies. Constraints are used for knowledge description. This enables usage of constraint solvers for finding solutions in various situations.

The study presents the level of equipment and use of information infrastructure on farms with different type of agricultural production. Equipment is presented as percentage share and the use - as the level of inventory of logistic processes and frequency of use of particular elements of information infrastructure.

The paper includes evaluation of the sources of acquiring information in agricultural farms by farmers. The research was carried out in 2012 in the form of a direct survey of owners of 102 agricultural farms located in Podlaskie Voivodeship. A survey questionnaire, which consisted of two parts, was a research instrument. The first one concerned information on the farm owner and a farm and the second part of the questionnaire consisted of questions related to the manners of acquisition of information sources and their evaluation. The research which was carried out proves that shows and exhibitions are the weakest information sources according to the evaluation (10%). Information obtained from the Commune Offices (16%) and the Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (18%) were evaluated as a weak source of information. However, a direct contact with friends and neighbours (42%) and agricultural advisers (59%) seems to be a popular source of information. The Internet, as well as radio and television, each reach more than 70%. Specialist press and guides were evaluated very high (above 80%). According to the investigated group, agricultural journals are the most significant source of information in the plant and livestock production and information on agricultural machines and devices. In the evaluation of the access to various types of agricultural information as much as 58% said that it is on a very good level, 30% of respondents evaluated it as good and only 12% of the respondents claimed that the access to various types of agricultural information sources is at a fairly good level. Any of the questioned farmers did not claim that the access to information is bad.
W pracy dokonano oceny źródeł pozyskiwania informacji w gospodarstwach rolnych przez rolników. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w 2012 roku poprzez bezpośrednie ankietowanie właścicieli 102 gospodarstw rolnych położonych na terenie województwa podlaskiego. Instrumentem badawczym był kwestionariusz wywiadu, który składał się z dwóch części. Pierwsza dotyczyła informacji o właścicielu gospodarstwa i gospodarstwie druga część ankiety składała się z pytań dotyczących sposobów pozyskiwania źródeł informacji oraz ich oceny. Przeprowadzone badania wskazują, że najsłabiej ocenianym źródeł informacji są pokazy i wystawy (10%). Dość nisko zostały ocenione informacje pozyskiwane z Urzędów Gmin (16%) i Agencji Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa (18%). Natomiast popularnym sposobem zdobywania informacji okazuje się bezpośredni kontakt ze znajomymi i sąsiadami (42%) oraz doradcami rolnymi (59%). Internet oraz radio i telewizja, każdy powyżej 70%. Bardzo wysoko zostały ocenione prasa fachowa i informatory (powyżej 80%). Według opinii badanej grupy najistotniejszym źródłem informacji w produkcji roślinnej, zwierzęcej oraz informacji na temat maszyn i urządzeń rolniczych są czasopisma rolnicze. W ocenie dostępu do różnego rodzaju informacji rolniczej, aż 58% stwierdziło, że jest on na bardzo dobrym poziomie, 30% respondentów oceniło go, jako dobry a tylko 12% ankietowanych uważa, że dostęp do różnego rodzaju źródeł pozyskiwania informacji rolniczych jest na niezłym poziomie. Żaden z ankietowych rolników nie ocenił, że dostęp do informacji jest na złym poziomie.

The article presents the results of research regarding the diagnosis of primary and secondary school students’ abilities in respect of two operations identified by Joy P. Guilford: convergent production and divergent production. The research used a set of SOI-Learning Abilities Tests by Mary Meeker and Robert Meeker. The research was conducted on 516 students (323 primary school students and 193 secondary school students; 259 students were boys). In divergent production tests students at all levels of school education (1st and 2nd stage of primary school and secondary school) experienced difficulties with tests requiring the application of non- -standard solutions and new approaches. This tendency grows in the consecutive years of education. Very good results of primary school students as regards convergent production – which involves the ability to combine and synthesize information relevant for the purpose of solving a given problem – do not continue for secondary school students. The age and sex proved to be differentiating factors for the level and properties of learning abilities as regards the abovementioned operations. In all age groups girls scored better than boys. Third grade students achieved the most scores assessed as above average, outstanding and talented.

This study identifies and analyzes the key factors of an efficient customer oriented production strategy. The paper supports the view that dynamic capabilities can be used successfully for improving company’s efficiency. This research is a case study research related to production strategy. In a case company, totally 31 interviews were made from 16 subsidiaries and 13 from end customers. The present paper focuses more on end customers’ than internal customers. Key findings can be identified as follows: effective information flow, flexibility, speed and responsiveness need more focus in the study of dynamic capabilities. Delivery accuracy is the key, while short delivery time is a competitive factor. This research is focused to power electronics business segment which is research limitation. To make wider conclusions, more empirical studies are needed. As a Practical implications, this research helps firms to improve their strategy process by understanding real customer needs. The research results bring additional value to the previous studies regarding company strategy, business environment, innovativeness and operational excellence.

W artykule autor podejmuje próbę przedstawienia autorskiej koncepcji pewnego ogólnego modelu gospodarowania danymi, informacją i wiedzą. W pierwszej części opracowania model jest prezentowany w wymiarze ogólnym, w kolejnych rozdziałach zawarto uwagi na temat szczegółowych uwarunkowań związanych z gospodarowaniem danymi, informacją i wiedzą. Następnie w artykule podjęto próbę zilustrowania praktycznego wymiaru przedstawionych przemyśleń na przykładzie wybranych zadań w obszarze inżynierii produkcji. Podsumowanie zawiera propozycje kierunków rozwoju zaproponowanego modelu, jak i sugestie dotyczące potencjalnych możliwości jego wykorzystania.
In the paper the author tries to introduce his concept of a general model of managing data, information and knowledge. In the first part, the model presented in a general dimension, the next parts contain remarks concerning some particular aspects of data, information and knowledge management. These aspects are briefly illustrated by some examples from the field of Production Engineering. The last part contains some proposals of developing the model as well as suggestion of applying the model.

Reliability of production systems in enterprises is increasingly dependent on the availability of ICT systems that supervise them. The research presented in this paper focuses on the improvement of the availability of ICT systems by identifying possibilities of further automation of their maintenance processes. After preliminary research, it has been concluded that the possibility of further automation by using artificial intelligence methods to support decision making regarding the improvement of ICT systems is worth considering. The main aim of the paper was to carry out research into the possibilities of using and implementing artificial intelligence to support decision making regarding the improvement of ICT systems.
