    This study is an attempt to assess the impact of small farms (SF) on the regional food product circulation of specific key products in selected, fragmented, agrarian regions in Poland and Portugal. The empirical study is based on the analysis of food product maps which were developed based on data from a survey conducted among owners of small farms and small food businesses at focus group meetings and workshops organized in 2017 and 2018 in the Nowotarski and Nowosądecki subregions in Poland and in the Alentejo Central and Oeste subregions in Portugal. Qualitative data analysis was conducted using uniform methodology. In each of the subregions, focus groups helped to confront the assumptions resulting from surveys and corroborate the flows and fluxes described in the developed food product maps. Data collected during focus groups were enriched by data gathered during regional workshops that focused on food system governance. It was concluded that food product maps indicate interesting relationship flows of small farmers’ products along the food system, highlighting the role of fluxes connecting small farmers with other actors regarding specific key products. Several similarities and disparities between regional KP production flows in the Portuguese and Polish subregions, based on the type of key product, the various distribution channels and farming capacities present in each subregion were observed.

    The article focuses primarily on two major aspects affecting each manufacturing enterprise. Namely, the question of planning of production process as well as process preparation to manufacture a desired product will be discussed. The article shows planning and production actions on the example of a production enterprise. The technical scope necessary in preparation of each production was presented as well as selected ways for inseparable connections and machines found in manufacturing halls were discussed. The characteristics of an enterprises manufacturing metal workshop furniture as well as workshop cars equipment was shown. The course of manufacturing process planning was depicted. Due to presented plans of the production hall it is possible to view the whole process. Some changes in that plan to streamline production and extend it in the future with a new range of products were suggested.

    Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie istoty związku pomiędzy logistykacją świata a potrzebą uwzględnienia w jej rozwoju takich głównych przesłanek jak: konieczność uznania logistyki za nową gałąź nauk o zarządzaniu, redefinicja międzynarodowych przepływów czynników wytwórczych czy wykorzystanie metod pomiaru asymetrii informacji rynkowej w biznesie międzynarodowym. W części teoretycznej w świetle najnowszej literatury przedmiotu wskazano nie tylko na potrzebę, ale także na nieuniknione działania zmierzające w kierunku budowy nowej gałęzi nauk o zarządzaniu, czyli logistyki. Szczególną wagę przypisano oddziaływaniu logistykacji na interdyscyplinarną naturę biznesu międzynarodowego. Kolejno ukazano niezbędne we współczesnej gospodarce realizowanie logistykacji pur les flux drogą przepływów czynników wytwórczych. Jedną z metod racjonalizowania takich przepływów wyraża model doganiania cyklu życia produktu, zwany modelem szyku lotu dzikich gęsi, jako przykład międzynarodowego przepływu wiedzy technicznej, tak ucieleśnionej, jak i nieucieleśnionej. Wreszcie opracowano nowy logistyczny model asymetrii informacji LMAI, który w ujęciu teoretycznym pozwala na wymierne określenie wpływu logistyki na redukowanie skutków asymetrii informacji. Rozważania teoretyczne uzupełniono autorską, subiektywną ilustracją liczbową, pozwalającą na wstępne oszacowanie potencjalnych korzyści dla przedsiębiorstw, uzyskanych w wyniku pomiarów poziomu asymetrii rynkowej w wybranych polskich firmach. Dla potrzeb niniejszego opracowania wykorzystano wyniki badań empirycznych z lat 2010–2018 i wyodrębniono z nich losowo firmy z 9 branż w grupach producentów, dystrybutorów i usługodawców. Wyniki tych wstępnych badań o charakterze poglądowym, przykładowym, umożliwiły ogólną ocenę szacowanego poziomu asymetrii rynkowej przedsiębiorstw reprezentujących newralgiczne branże polskiej gospodarki.
    The aim of this article is to show the relationship between logistification of the world and the basic premises of this phenomenon, such as the need to recognise logistics as a new management science, a redefinition of international flow of the factors of production, or the use of information asymmetry measuring methods in international business. The theory part, featuring a review of the latest literature on the subject, emphasizes not only the need but also a necessity to develop logistics as a new branch of the management science. A special role is attributed to the impact of logistification on the interdisciplinary character of international business. Further, the article shows a pur les flux accomplishment of logistification through the flow of factors of production. Rationalisation of this process is expressed by the "flying geese formation" model, an exemplification of international flow of technical knowledge, both representational (knowing-that) and embodied (knowing-how). Finally, a new logistic model of information asymmetry (LMAI) is developed, providing a theoretical measure of the impact of logistics on reducing the effects of information asymmetry. The theoretical considerations are supplemented with an original numerical illustration of potential benefits derived by selected Polish firms from the measuring of information asymmetry levels. For this purpose the author used the results of empirical studies conducted in the period 2010–2018, from which firms representing manufacturers, distributors and service providers from nine industries were selected on a random basis. The findings of this preliminary study enabled a general estimation of the information asymmetry levels in key industries of the Polish economy.

    W pracy przedstawiono wielkość i strukturę przepływów surowcowotowarowych w gospodarstwach rolnych w aspekcie kierunku produkcji. Założony cel został zrealizowany na podstawie badań przeprowadzonych w 80 gospodarstwach Polski Południowej. Obiekty do badań zostały podzielone na 4 grupy: gospodarstwa jednokierunkowe - ukierunkowane na produkcję roślinną i zwierzęcą, gospodarstwa dwukierunkowe i mieszane. W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań dokonano oceny wielkości i struktury przepływów surowcowo-towarowych w głównych obszarach logistyki: zaopatrzenia, produkcji i dystrybucji. Końcowym efektem przeprowadzonych badań było stworzenie modeli przepływów surowcowo-towarowych w badanych gospodarstwach obrazujących wielkość i strukturę przepływającej masy towarów.
    The work study presents the size and the structure of raw-materials and goods flow in agricultural farms with regard to the production trend. The assumed aim was carried out based on research conducted in 80 farms of Southern Poland. The facilities covered by the research were divided into four groups: one-trend farms - plant and animal production oriented, two-trend farms and mixed - trend farms. As a result of the research which was carried out, the size and the structure of raw materials and goods flows was assessed within main areas of logistics: supply and distribution. Forming models of raw materials and goods flow in the researched farms, which illustrate the size and the structure of goods mass flow, was the final effect of the research.
