Opis:: Placing biological plant protection products on the Polish market undergo completely different rules depending on the group they do belong: if they are micro or macro organisms. The microorganisms and viruses undergo a very strict, costly and time consuming registration procedure more or less uniform for all EU countries. Placing products belonging to this group on the Polish market requires very significant financial and time investment. The rules regarding macro organisms registration are established in EU on the member state level. In Poland at present there are no rules at all and the macro organisms used in biological control can be imported and used in Poland without any supervision. However the list of 25 biological products registered under the old regulations can be still used as a guide informing about safety and efficacy of some products.

Opis:: The aim of this article is to determe the scheme of actual legal protection of geographical indications and designations of origin for agricultural products and foodstuffs. The protection is reserved only for producers who fulfill all requirements mentioned in the regulations, considering region, origins and quality. They only may sell such products on the internal market under the certain logos. Labels are vital, giving EU farmers and producers the possibility of higher returns in exchange for better quality, and giving consumers specific products that come with the guarantee of a certain production method and enable to gain some financial support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
Celem artykułu jest określenie kształtu prawnej ochrony oznaczeń geograficznych oraz nazw pochodzenia produktów rolnych i środków spożywczych w świetle obowiązujących przepisów prawa. Ochrona zostaje zastrzeżona na rzecz określonych producentów rolnych, których produkty spełniają wymogi w zakresie obszaru geograficznego, pochodzenia oraz jakości. Tylko oni mogą wprowadzać te produkty do obrotu pod zastrzeżoną nazwą. Zarejestrowanie oznaczenia lub nazwy pochodzenia nie tylko przyczynia się do wzmocnienia jego renomy, poprawy konkurencyjności na rynku, lecz także umożliwia uzyskanie pewnych środków finansowych z Europejskiego Funduszu Rolnego na rzecz Rozwoju Obszarów Wiejskich.

Opis:: Lignicolous fungi include many wood decay fungi. Studies on molds and decay fungi are necessary to enable us to control their growth on wood and wood products. A survey was undertaken during 2012-2013 to detect the various ligniclous fungi in Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada and Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. In a recent study, lignicolous fungi were collected from living trees and fallen branches from Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada, India. On the basis of occurrence Coriolopsis aspera (Junghuhn) Teng. Fulvifomes nilgheriensis (Montagne) Bondartseva & S. Herrera, Ganoderma australe (Fr.) Pat., G. lucidum (Curtis) P. Karsten, Hexagonia apiaria (Pers.) Fr. Phellinus linteus (Berk. & Curt.) Teng. Trametes cingulata Berk. Hook., T. cotonea (Pat. & Har.) Ryv. T. gibbosa (Pers.) Fr. Schizophyllum commune Fr. were reported from Krishna district for the first time. F. nilgheriensis (Montagne) Bondartseva & S. Herrera is recorded for the first time from India. Even though being preliminary, our results point to the necessity of conservation and protection of recent fungal diversity but, in our opinion, not by making so-called “Red list of endangered species", which, due to the lack of information and very poor evidence on this group of organisms in the region under the consideration, are extremely unreliable and therefore disputable, but rather through the very short list of few not endangered species, conditionally called “White list of not endangered fungal species", if such species recently exist at all.
