The article discusses experiences gained while integrating adaptive methods of project management with business processes management in a business organization, based on the research undertaken in SESCOM company in Gdańsk, Poland. The aim of the article is to formalize the authors' model of ABPM (Agile Business Process Management), dedicated to re-orienting the traditional process organization towards constructing adaptive, minimalistic process models, taking into consideration the Agile methods of workflow software development and long-term life-cycles of infrastructure connected with IT processes. The article proposes the areas, in which to implement the elements of Agile methodology in the classical Deming cycle. It also summarizes experience to-date with regard to the role of human capital in performing business strategies according to the ABPM model.

The aim of the article is to present the results of the productivity research of a manufacturing company with particular emphasis on logistics processes. The article presents another example of verification of the developed proprietary productivity method, with particular emphasis on logistic processes. An author’s method is used to select indicators, measure productivity and development of processes improvement. The productivity research was carried out in a company in the automotive industry dealing in the production of semi-trailers. A productivity research procedure was developed for the company, it was measured and recommended for improvement of the selected process. The selection of the process to be improved was made on the basis of the forecasted values of the tested productivity indicators, also using econometric modelling. The results of the productivity indicators after the implementation of the improvement were also presented, which confirmed the validity of the applied method and the right choice of process improvement in the company.

The goal – of the paper is to analyze the opportunities and risks of outsourcing in the implementation of administrative and managerial processes by local authorities of Ukraine. The analysis includes a set of guidelines for improving outsourcing at the local governmental level. Research methodology – in the paper, an analysis of regulatory documents, reports of the Association of Ukrainian Cities, the outcomes of projects for the implementation of outsourcing in local governments, and an expert survey were used. Score/results – the problems in organizing outsourcing in local governments of Ukraine are identified. The recommendations for solving those problems are developed. Originality/value – the paper is done by the authors independently without any help and assistance of others. The paper provides links to researches, as well as links to legislation. The nature of the paper is a review report.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to study how the Sars-Cov-19 pandemic has affected the processes and performance management of medium-sized outpatient clinics in Poland. Given the novelty of the studied area and lack of relevant literature, the case study approach has been employed. Design/methodology/approach: The case study was performed at CortenMedic, a medium 17 sized outpatient clinic located in Poland. We analyzed materials obtained from CortenMedic and interviewed its management board. Following an in-depth restructuring of processes, performance management, and business processes management governance, the CortenMedic adjusted to an environment and has taken advantage of opportunities. Findings: As a result, the CortenMedic recognized outstanding results superior to those before the Sars-Cov-19 period. This study shows that the business processes management and performance management should be dynamic and follow the changes identified inside and outside the companies. The changes through Sars-Cov-19 appear very quickly and are of temporary nature. We postulate the threat of the Sars-Cov-19 pandemic can be converted by the healthcare organizations into an opportunity. Research limitations/implications: Several limitations of our research must be acknowledged. Firstly, we shall note we based our study on only one organization located in Poland. Since we do not compare our results with other Polish and European clinics, obtained in this study results might not be generalizable. Practical implications: The increased role of BPM governance in the pandemic period, as compliance with processes, especially with work safety standards, become of utmost importance, posing a thrill of infection otherwise. In this sense, the postulates of this study might be applicable to other healthcare services providers. Additionally, the results of the paper can provide guidance to a decision-maker or management staff through improving the structure of primary and secondary processes depending on the needs and expectations of a dynamic environment. Social implications: The article’s findings may still offer astute insights to researchers and practitioners who wish to consider more information regarding the importance of the BPM and PM in the healthcare sector through the business process restructuring. Originality/value: The added value of the article is the answer to the question study how the Sars-Cov-19 pandemic has affected the BPM and performance management (PM) of medium 6 sized outpatient clinics in Poland.

Opis:
Business process management is a very important factor in assessing the effectiveness of production systems (entire enterprises or departments). And while the planning and management of business processes is mastered, it is difficult to create relationships between coexisting processes within one production system. Usually, business process management refers to extracted (isolated) processes, in this case relationships between different processes were looked for. This paper is devoted to the assessment and analysis of the interaction of business processes related to the implementation of one engineering project. The paper presents the results of research carried out in relation to four coexisting business processes in a manufacturing company - with assumption that the four analyzed business processes are located within one project. Business processes were defined on the basis of areas determined in the Big Picture analysis (in Value Stream Mapping analysis). As indicators of the impact of business process elements, the correlation coefficient was taken into account, the value of which determined the impact (or lack of impact) between the components of the various business processes. It has been noticed that the attributes from process 1 (Launching the project implementation) and process 2 (Scheduling and project management) show a very strong and strong correlation with the attributes in other processes 3 (Management and supply of materials) and 4 (Production and distribution). On the basis of the presented results, the critical points of the information / decision flow between the coexisting business processes have been indicated.
Zarządzanie procesami biznesowymi jest bardzo ważnym czynnikiem w ocenie efektywności systemów produkcyjnych (całych przedsiębiorstw lub działów). I o ile planowanie i zarządzanie procesami biznesowymi jest opanowane, trudno jest tworzyć relacje między współistniejącymi procesami w ramach jednego systemu produkcyjnego. Zazwyczaj zarządzanie procesami biznesowymi odnosi się do wyodrębnionych (wyizolowanych) procesów, w tym przypadku poszukiwano relacji pomiędzy różnymi procesami. Artykuł poświęcony jest ocenie i analizie interakcji procesów biznesowych związanych z realizacją jednego projektu inżynierskiego. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w odniesieniu do czterech współistniejących procesów biznesowych w przedsiębiorstwie produkcyjnym - przy założeniu, że cztery analizowane procesy biznesowe są ulokowane w ramach jednego projektu. Procesy biznesowe zostały zdefiniowane na podstawie obszarów określonych w analizie Big Picture (w analizie Mapowania Strumienia Wartości). Jako wskaźniki wpływu elementów procesu biznesowego brano pod uwagę współczynnik korelacji, którego wartość określała wpływ (lub brak wpływu) pomiędzy komponentami różnych procesów biznesowych. Zauważono, że atrybuty z procesu 1 (Uruchomienie realizacji projektu) i procesu2 (Planowanie i zarządzanie projektami) wykazują bardzo silną i silną korelację z atrybutami w innych procesach 3 (Zarządzanie i dostawa materiałów) i 4 (Produkcja i dystrybucja). Na podstawie przedstawionych wyników wskazano krytyczne punkty przepływu informacji/decyzji pomiędzy współistniejącymi procesami biznesowymi.

This is the final push for the new Occupational Safety & Health standard ISO 45001 Occupational health and safety management systems - Requirements with guidance for use which has been under preparation since 2013. It is widely expected for the new standard to be published in 2018 at the latest. The adjustment of the OSH Management Systems to the requirements of the new standard will take a thorough analysis of the already implemented processes and management practices. W artykule opracowano etapy modelowania i symulacji systemu zarządzania procesem kształcenia na uczelni, na które kolejno składają się: określenie celów, kryteriów i ograniczeń funkcjonowania systemu; budowa ogólnego modelu systemu; modelowanie czynników i relacji przyczynowo-skutkowych elementów systemu; iteracyjne eksperymentowanie symulacyjne na modelach, uwzględniające sprzężenia zwrotne w celu ulepszenia przedstawienia systemu, modeli relacyjnych i parametrów wejściowych systemu. Ostatecznym wynikiem tego procesu jest stan systemu i poziom osiągania jego celów na koniec badanego okresu. Po zakończeniu każdej iteracji zarządzający (decydent) podejmuje decyzję, czy ostateczny wynik kształcenia jest zadowalający i czy należy zmieniać parametry na wejściu systemu tak, aby osiągnąć satysfakcjonujący poziom kształcenia absolwentów na koniec prognozowanego okresu.
In article have been developed the steps modelling and simulation of process management system of education at the university, they are: defining objectives, criteria and limitations of the system; construction of a general model of the system; modelling factors and the causal relationships of system components; iterative simulation at models. The feedback in this process allows to improve the model of system, allows to improve mathematical models and allows to improve the input parameters of the system. The final result of this process is the state of the system and the level of achievement of its goals for the end of the period. Manager (decision-maker) at the end of each iteration decides whether the final result of education is satisfactory and whether to change the input parameters of the system so as to achieve a satisfactory level of education graduates at the end of the forecast period.

Trends of development and application of different classes of information systems in management according to the types of business processes were investigated in this article. A brief overview of current state of the use of cloud technology in the world and Ukraine was represented. Advantages of using model of "SaaS - Software as a service" was explained on the example of innovation international project "Bitrix 24", where the main objectives of CRM systems were realized combining with wide opportunities of coordination of communicative and business processes of modern companies. The project was translated into the majority European languages and uses tools of the social Intranet environment.
W artykule zbadano tendencje rozwoju i stosowania różnych klas systemów informatycznych w zarządzaniu w relacji do rodzajów procesów biznesowych. Zaprezentowano krótki przegląd aktualnego stanu wykorzystania technologii chmury obliczeniowej na świecie i na Ukrainie. Korzyści wynikające z zastosowania modelu "SaaS - Software as a Service" zostały wyjaśnione na przykładzie innowacji międzynarodowego projektu "Bitrix 24", w którym zrealizowane zostały główne cele systemów CRM w połączeniu z szerokimi możliwościami koordynacji procesów komunikacyjnych i biznesowych nowoczesnych firm. Projekt ten został przetłumaczony na większość języków Europejskich i wykorzystuje narzędzia społecznego środowiska Intranetu.

Zwrócono uwagę na znaczenie procesów zarządczych dla prawidłowych relacji międzyludzkich w zespole świadczącym usługi zdrowotne i ich wpływu na uzyskiwane efekty pracy. Cel pracy. Zbadanie wpływu procesów zarządczych na poziom zaangażowania pielęgniarek w pracę w wybranym podmiocie leczniczym. Materiał i metody. Badanie ankietowe przeprowadzono w grupie 120 pielęgniarek pracujących w piętnastu oddziałach Wojewódzkiego Centrum Szpitalnego Kotliny Jeleniogórskiej w Jeleniej Górze. Wykorzystano autorski kwestionariusz ankiety składający się z 20 pytań. Analizy materiału badawczego dokonano za pomocą wybranych metod statystycznych: testu Alfa Cronbacha i korelacji rho-Spearmana. Wyniki. Badania własne pozwoliły na potwierdzenie głównych założeń tej pracy, że prawidłowo przebiegające procesy zarządcze w podmiotach leczniczych wpływają na większe zaangażowanie personelu pielęgniarskiego w pracę. Wnioski. Zarządzanie placówkami leczniczymi nieustannie wymaga poszukiwań coraz to nowszych rozwiązań i przystosowania procesów zarządczych do specyficznej funkcji świadczenia usług medycznych.
Background. The research of this work has shown the influence of management processes on nurses’ commitment to work including: planning, work organization, management and monitoring the work process. This project shows the significance of management processes and how they can shape the correct human relationships in hospital staff and the influence of work effects. Objectives. The purpose how the management processes can influence the level of nurses’ commitment to work. Material and methods. The survey forms were filled in a group of 120 nurses who work in fifteen wards of Wojewódzkie Centrum Szpitalne Kotliny Jeleniogórskiej in Jelenia Góra. The survey form contained 20 original questions. Collected material was examined with the use of some statistical methods: Alf Cronbach’s test and rho-Spearman’s correlation. Results. Author’s research confirmed formulated hypotheses. According to them, proper management processes cause better nursing commitment to work. Conclusions. The management of medical facilities requires constant prospecting of new solutions and an adaptation of management processes to the special function of medical services.
