Opis:
The study presents the evolution of process organization and process management, as well as the process approach, along with classic, contemporary and modern management concepts that build the value of a global enterprise. The present paper introduces to the reader aspects of contemporary global economy, modern technologies and information technologies in particular, and customer demands, which in the 21st century necessitate changes in management. Based on the collected statistical data, observations and literature, we formulated conclusions concerning the application of process management to the creation of value in global enterprise, including its sustainability. The advantages and disadvantages of this organizational form are also outlined. The aim of the present study is to introduce to the reader, the importance of various methods and forms of management, and process management in particular, for building the value of a global enterprise.

Opis:
Purpose: The aim of the study is to present a changing global environment for businesses, to use modern elements of management, IT and telecommunications as necessary elements in the face of the pandemic and global crisis, to sustain the functioning of businesses, organisations, economies and states. Design/methodology/approach: On the basis of the collected statistical data, own research and surveys, observations and literature, conclusions have been drawn concerning trends of changes in the organisation and the application of modern management concepts and forms of management. The study presents the functioning of enterprises taking into account their further environment, especially economic and social, against the background of the current problems of the EU and the world economy. The study also presents the problems of modern global economy, pandemic and sustainable development. Findings: Study presents selected elements of governance and trends of change in the organisation. What matters most for companies is marketing, finance, profit, strategies, personnel, innovation, modern methods and forms of organisation, etc. However, elements of IT and modern management methods already have an important and growing position, especially in the face of the pandemic, remote work and the global crisis. Technological and macro-economic changes, new methods of management, shrinking natural resources in the world at the turn of the 20th and 21st century, looking for substitutes, all these set out the directions for the development of companies. In addition, socio-political and epidemiological changes, computerisation and automation, cause changes in the functioning of enterprises, both large and small.

The subject of the article is associated with the issue of management of organizations in a changing, dynamic environment. Formulating strategy of development of these organizations requires from the managers setting and achieving such goals of functioning on a competitive market which involve longer, at least medium perspective and present new possibilities for the development of their organizations. Thus, the goal of this article is to draw attention to the chances for development of organizations, which result from adopting the option of making the strategy of action international in character. The very process of internationalization of an organization can be understood in various ways, but can be initiated and carried out even within the framework of functioning of an organization on the domestic market, however, it has to be consciously aimed at activities with an international character.

The article presents the original process perspective on organizations in terms of their approach to knowledge management and use of intellectual capital. The purpose of this article is to propose solutions to the problems of large organizations resulting from too much heaviness in adapting to changing customer requirements. The article analyzes the effects of enlargement on the traditional business process management in accordance with the concept of dynamic BPM, such as better use of intellectual capital, a radical increase of flexibility, continuous development of the knowledge that can be used in practice as well as the continuous sharing of knowledge. Using IT tools and technologies such as BPM, ACM, Process Mining and Social BPM for practical implementation of dynamic BPM, organizations achieve a significant improvement of the efficiency of current operations and the ability to build a sustainable competitive advantage. The article emphasizes the fact that the basis of the concept and success of dynamic BPM is not IT technology. IT systems can facilitate the work, but they cannot provide creativity nor flexibility of the work. The basis is to enable the operation of the whole intellectual capital of the company, working and sharing of knowledge in the implementation of the process for the clients.

This paper primarily analyzes the classification of international organizations according to different criteria to see the specificity of the EU as a sui generis international organization. The authors specifically examine the legal order of the EU and the process of achieving full membership. They are interested in the EU accession process, particularly for countries in the Western Balkans like Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is covered by the Stabilization and Association Agreement. Candidate countries have access to various EU funds, which the authors analyze as pre-accession assistance. The study assesses Bosnia and Herzegovina’s status in European integration and delves into the use of IPA funds in the country, including its withdrawal, scope, and limitations. The authors emphasize the importance of IPA funds for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This paper focuses on the types of successful strategies implemented in high performance organizations. It is argued that globalization has resulted in rapid diffusion of high performance practices transforming especially those organizations functioning in the international arena. By the same token, the use of different types of strategies in high performance organizations has become the commanding aspect of gaining competitive advantage for global companies. Broadly, the utilization of various strategies depends on the evaluation of content based and process based approaches during the formation process of strategic action. As for those organizations willing to transform their traditional organizational processes into high performance practices, the dilemma of choosing between planned strategies and emerging strategies becomes the basic proposition in strategy determination. In this vein, a conceptual framework is developed which bring forth the institutional conditions whereby high performance organizations can choose between planned and emerging strategies. Choosing an appropriate strategy in high performance organizations for sustaining competitive advantages is a crucial aspect in order to thrive in a constantly changing global environment.

Purpose: The objective of this article was therefore to review the concepts concerning the essence of process approach with regard to public organizations. The scope of the overview included initial analysis of the possibilities to use this approach in common courts. Design/methodology/approach: In the literature of the subject, the concept of process approach more and more often is presented in the context of public organizations. This is often caused by the necessity to implement pro-effectiveness activities, the lack of funds that the public organizations have at their disposal, as well as by the increasing number of public tasks. Therefore, there is a search for solutions that would allow for the increase of effectiveness and for the improvement of efficiency of functioning of public organization, just as it is the case of business organizations. Findings: The activity of public organizations is usually characterized by a sequence of complex activities that are subject to achieving goals being important for the proper functioning of the society. The dynamically developing economic practice forces changes towards focus on activities that create value for the citizen. Research limitations/implications: Currently, it is believed that the essence of management of public organizations results from the nature of goals implemented by these organizations as well as from the complex surroundings. However, the objectives implemented by these organizations are different than the commercial ones. Practical implications: The processes implemented in organizations should be perceived as separate wholes with organic features that can be observed, separated and shaped no matter the industry in which they function. The correctly identified processes would allow for standardization of activities of public organizations. Originality/value One of the most important orientations, when it comes to managing modern organizations, is the process approach; however, its use in terms of public organizations requires taking into account their specific nature.

The essence of public management, in contrast to the concept of management, is not an example of the unanimity of researchers in defining it. Problems arise from the difficulty to specify both the subject and the objects of management. The article discusses the issue of application of a process approach in the management of public organizations, with particular reference to the common judiciary. The aim of the article was to indicate the general assumptions of creating public value, taking into account the strategic triangle of M. Moore and the attempt of identifying the characteristics of processes carried out in public organizations. The article is a continuation of the work "The process approach in public management based on the example of common judiciary – part I. Historical Review", where the main elements of the process approach, which should be taken into account in the implementation and realization of the NPM assumptions, were indicated. As a result of the conducted considerations – preliminary recommendations in the context of creating value for the recipient of public services were formulated. Positive effects arise only when the benefits offered correspond to social needs, which requires appropriate planning of value creation processes and the involvement of appropriate resources.
Istota zarządzania publicznego, w odróżnieniu od pojęcia zarządzania, nie jest przykładem jednomyślności badaczy w jej definiowaniu. Problemy wynikają z trudności dookreślenia zarówno przedmiotu, jak i podmiotów zarządzania. W artykule podjęto problematykę aplikacji podejścia procesowego w zarządzaniu organizacjami publicznymi, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem sądownictwa powszechnego. Celem artykułu było wskazanie ogólnych założeń tworzenia wartości publicznej z uwzględnieniem trójkąta strategicznego M. Moore’a oraz próba identyfikacji cech charakterystycznych dla procesów realizowanych w organizacjach publicznych. Artykuł jest kontynuacją pracy „Podejście procesowe w zarządzaniu publicznym na przykładzie sądownictwa powszechnego – cz. I. Przegląd historyczny”, gdzie wskazano główne elementy podejścia procesowego, które powinny być uwzględniane przy implementacji i realizacji założeń NPM. Jako efekt przeprowadzonych rozważań – sformułowano wstępne zalecenia w kontekście tworzenia wartości dla odbiorcy świadczeń publicznych. Pozytywne efekty powstają jedynie wówczas, gdy oferowane świadczenia odpowiadają potrzebom społecznym, co wymaga odpowiedniego zaplanowania procesów tworzenia wartości i zaangażowania właściwych zasobów.

Adaptacja rozwiązań wynikających z zastosowania podejścia procesowego w organizacjach publicznych wzbudza zainteresowanie badawcze, wciąż jednak pozostaje niewypracowana, ponieważ nie istnieją rozwiązania, które zadowoliłyby wszystkich. W artykule podjęto problematykę aplikacji podejścia procesowego w zarządzaniu organizacjami publicznymi, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem sądownictwa powszechnego. Wskazano na znaczenie uwarunkowań rozwoju idei NPM, wyznaczających system celów i tworzących ramy realizacji zadań publicznych, w stosunku do istotnych elementów podejścia procesowego. Podkreślono istotne znaczenie identyfikacji procesów głównych i wspomagających oraz koordynacji styków w procesach logistycznych w łańcuchu tworzenia wartości publicznej. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest wskazanie głównych elementów podejścia procesowego, które powinny być uwzględniane przy implementacji i realizacji założeń NPM w kontekście tworzenia wartości dla odbiorcy świadczeń publicznych.
Adaptation of solutions resulting from the application of the process approach in public organizations arouses research interest, but it still remains unfinished, because there are no solutions that would satisfy everyone. The article discusses the issues of application of a process approach in the management of public organizations, with particular reference to the common judiciary. The importance of conditions for the development of the NPM idea, defining the system of goals and creating a framework for the implementation of public tasks, in relation to the essential elements of the process approach was pointed out. The importance of identification of main and support processes and coordination of contacts in logistic processes was emphasized. The aim of this article is to indicate the main elements of the process approach, which should be taken into account in the implementation and implementation of the NPM assumptions in the context of creating value for the recipient of public benefits.

Tematyka artykułu nawiązuje do współczesnych problemów zarządzania organizacjami w zmiennym, dynamicznym otoczeniu. Formułowanie strategii rozwoju tych organizacji wymaga obecnie od zarządzających stawiania i realizacji takich celów funkcjonowania na konkurencyjnym rynku, które dotyczą perspektywy dłuższej, co najmniej średniookresowej, oraz ukazują nowe możliwości rozwoju organizacji. Celem artykułu jest zatem zwrócenie uwagi na szansę dla rozwoju organizacji, która wynika z przyjęcia opcji umiędzynarodowienia strategii ich działania. Sam proces umiędzynarodowienia (internacjonalizacji) organizacji jest rozumiany różnie, ale może być inicjowany i realizowany nawet w ramach działania organizacji na rynku krajowym, przy czym musi on być świadomie ukierunkowany na aktywności o charakterze międzynarodowym. Szczególnie ważnym wątkiem w badaniach nad internacjonalizacją jest problem zmian, które dokonują się w procesie umiędzynarodowienia, zarówno w samej organizacji, jak i w jej otoczeniu. J. Rymarczyk wyróżnia trzy stopnie procesu umiędzynarodowienia: uświadomienie w organizacji możliwości międzynarodowego oddziaływania, dostosowanie organizacji do międzynarodowego otoczenia, międzynarodowy rozwój polegający na tworzeniu lub przekształcaniu organizacji.
