The article presents the issue related with a proper preparation of a data sheet for the analysis, the way of verifying the correctness and reliability of input information, and proper data encoding. Improper input or coding of data can significantly influence the correctness of performed analyses or extend their time. This stage of an analysis is presented by an authorship questionnaire for the study on occupational safety culture in a manufacturing plant, using the Statistica software for analyses. There were used real data, obtained during the research on the issue of occupational safety and factors having the greatest influence on the state of occupational safety.

The aim of this work was to determine the effectiveness of using the FMEA method in the traditional and modern versions for a small company producing plastic toys. It also identified the production process of a plastic instrument toy selected for analysis by dividing operations into adding and not adding value, in accordance with the Lean concept. Through the FMEA sheets constructed and presented in this work in both versions of this method, the causes and effects of defects in the technological operations of the production process of the test subject were presented. A risk analysis was carried out using assessments available for the traditional and new versions, and preventive and detective actions were proposed. The result of the work was a comparison of risk indicators characteristic for both versions of the FMEA method and an assessment of the effectiveness of this method in the analysed enterprise. Emphasis was placed on the human factor in the research. Both the division of operations into adding and not adding value, as well as the FMEA method, were useful for further optimization and process improvement activities.

W artykule opisano pięć metod identyfikacji procesów z różnego punktu widzenia. Postulowano, aby system identyfikacji procesów integrował sferę zarządzania i wykonania inwestycji, gdyż brak procesów zarządzania w kosztorysowaniu może być powodem dużych strat finansowych. Zasugerowano kierunek współpracy uczelni z przedsiębiorcami. Tematem współpracy może być opracowanie modelowego systemu identyfikacji procesów dla budownictwa.
This article describes five methods of identifying processes from various points of view. It is proposed that a system for identification of processes should integrate the domains of management and execution of projects, since the absence of management processes in cost calculation may lead to large financial losses. A suggestion is made as to a direction for cooperation between firms and academic institutions. Cooperation may relate to the development of a model system of process identification for the construction industry.

The article presents the results of analysis, the use of continuous flow of logic at the stage of production planning and control of the company producing furniture. The concept of continuous flow tends to regulate the flow of materials in a manner that provides the shortest flow path without unnecessary activities (Muda is a Japanese word meaning waste), a constant takt and defined throughput at constant resource requirements for the so-called transfer of material through the whole process. In the study Glenday’d sieve method was used to identify the correct area, which requires the value stream mapping, and areas called excessive complexity, which do not provide added value. The use of Glenday’s sieve method made it possible to identify areas in which it must be improve production capacity.

Opis:
The paper describes a mathematical model of PHA biopolymer production process by Pseudomonas putida KT2442 where the octanoic acid is used as a substrate. The process is modeled using mass balances for fed-batch cultivation. Proper fitting to experimental data is obtained by identification of the model parameters. The model exhibits good agreement with experiments and its possible application for control is considered in the paper.

The publication presents issues of process identification, as one of the main stages of process management implementation in industrial companies. Therefore, conditions and methods of process identification have been characterized, with particular attention to problems necessary to overcome in practice. Presented literature studies are supplemented by a characteristics of case studies in two chemical companies and one energy sector company.

The subject of the study was to develop a neural model for the identification of mechanical damage in maize caryopses based on digital photographs. The author has selected a set of features that distinguish between damaged and healthy caryopses. The study has produced an artificial neural network of a multilayer perceptron type whose identification capacity approximates that of a human.
Celem projektu badawczego było opracowanie modelu neuronowego do identyfikacji mechanicznych uszkodzeń ziarniaków kukurydzy na podstawie ich cyfrowych fotografii. Wybrany został zestaw cech charakterystycznych na podstawie, których możliwa jest klasyfikacja ziarniaków na zdrowe i uszkodzone. W wyniku badań otrzymano sztuczną sieć neuronową typu perceptron wielowarstwowy charakteryzującą się zdolnościami identyfikacyjnymi zbliżonymi do umiejętności człowieka.

Szkodliwość oddziaływania owadów na rośliny uprawne polega przede wszystkim na ich żerowaniu. Fakt ten powoduje daleko posunięte zmiany w morfologii i fizjologii roślin, co w efekcie końcowym prowadzi do ich zamierania. Żeby prawidłowo oznaczyć szkodnika, trzeba mieć możliwość identyfikacji cech kluczowych. Cechy te umiejscowione są na rozmaitych częściach ciała. Wymaga to jednak sporej wiedzy i dobrego rozeznania w grupach. Dotychczasowe metody identyfikacji owadów opierają się na rozpoznawaniu za pomocą kluczy. Klucze używane przez badaczy są ściśle dopasowane do danego osobnika. W zależności od rodzaju czy gatunku szkodnik może być opisany za pomocą setek a nawet tysięcy kluczy, co świadczy o trudności i czasochłonności w ich oznaczaniu. Sztuczne sieci neuronowe ze względów technicznych są uproszczonym symulatorem pracy ludzkiego mózgu posiadając jego cechy. Potrafią się uczyć, są mało wrażliwe na niekompletną informację wejściową przetwarzają wprowadzone sygnały i podają na wyjściu wyniki w czasie rzeczywistym [2]. Wskazane właściwości oraz analizy podczas badań pozwalają przypuszczać, że SNN mogą wykonać zadanie identyfikacji podobnie jak człowiek. Dzięki takiemu zautomatyzowaniu procesu identyfikacji udałoby się wyeliminować współczynnik obiektywizmu.
The mischievous of insects is mostly about their preying on the cultivated plants. In order to identify a pest correctly, one has to have the ability to identify its key characteristics. These are placed all over the insects corpse. A pest can be described by hundreds or even thousands of 'keys' - depending on the kind or species - what proves how difficult and time-consuming the identification is. ANN (Artificial Neural Networks) can learn, are less sensible to incomplete incoming information, they are processing entered signals and give results in actual time. The above properties and the analysis during the research allow to make a conclusion that ANN may do the identification task similarly to a human being. Thanks to such identification process automation it could be possible to eliminate the objectivism factor.

The paper contains selected results of research on the Domestic Power System (DPS) as an unmanned factory. Models of the DPS system of the MISO type, obtained as a result of identification for 14 inputs and 4 outputs were presented. Particular attention was given to the identification and the assessment of the DPS development based on the systems and control theory. The obtained models of the DPS development were analyzed and discussed. The studies were obtained model of the development of the DPS, and on the basis of is knowledge of the structural and parametrical changes of system development. The model can be used to analyze the design and development of the system from the point of view of the growth of internal organization system and the transition to higher levels of control.

Opis:
Thermal and differential analysis (TDA) is often used as a tool for quantitative estimation of solidification parameters of alloys (e.g. temperatures corresponding to the beginning and the end of phase change, kinetics of latent heat evolution, etc). TDA system offers a possibility of observation of the cooling (heating) rate, which means that the course of derivative ∂T/∂t can be analyzed. In this paper, the identification of alloy latent heat on the basis of additional information resulting from TDA measurements is discussed. At the stage of numerical modelling, the finite difference method (FDM) is used, the examples of computations are also shown.
Analiza termiczno-derywacyjna (ATD) stanowi efektywne narzędzie ilościowej oceny parametrów krzepnięcia stopów odlewniczych (np. temperatury początku i końca krzepnięcia, kinetyki wydzielania się ciepła przemiany, itd.). Urządzenie ATD daje możliwość obserwacji krzywych stygnięcia (nagrzewania) oraz szybkości tych procesów, czyli można również obserwować zmiany pochodnej temperatury względem czasu (∂T/∂t ). W niniejszej pracy rozpatruje się zadanie dotyczące identyfikacji utajonego ciepła krzepnięcia stopów na podstawie informacji wynikających z pomiarów realizowanych urządzeniem ATD. Na etapie obliczeń numerycznych wykorzystano metodę różnic skończonych dla nieliniowych zadań nieustalonego przewodzenia ciepła. W końcowej części pracy przedstawiono wyniki identyfikacji utajonego ciepła krzepnięcia staliwa.

The article raises the thesis about transsexual heroes’ increased desire to possess a well-sexed voice that in combination with the verbal world becomes gender identity expression. While examining various cultural texts the author considers the gender vocal metamorphosis during the transition process paying attention to the role of hypotexts. The author addresses the questions regarding the motivation of transsexual women and men when choosing a name. The author also deals with the language used in creating the images of trans-heroes compatible with the psychological issues in gender and communication.
W artykule zostaje postawiona teza o wzmożonym pragnieniu posiadania przez bohaterów transseksualnych właściwie upłciowionego głosu, który w połączeniu ze światem werbalnym staje się wyrazem tożsamości płciowej. Autorka, badając różne teksty kultury, rozpatruje genderową wokalną metamorfozę w trakcie procesu tranzycji, zwraca przy tym uwagę na rolę hipotekstów. Odpowiada na pytania dotyczące motywacji transkobiet i transmężczyzn przy wyborze imienia. Zajmuje się również językowym obrazem transbohaterów zgodnym z płcią psychiczną oraz sytuacją komunikacyjną.

There is presented the application of the integrated software tools to the operation and reliability models of an exemplary complex technical system unknown parameters identification. There are performed in the paper, the exemplary system operation and reliability analysis and modelling. The identification of the probabilities of transitions this system operation process between the operation states and the conditional mean values of this process sojourn times at the particular operation states because of the lack of statistical data is performed throw the arbitrary fixing their values assumption. Next using the computer program CP 8.3 the automatic evaluation of the system components unknown intensities of departures the reliability state subsets and the identification of the exponential forms of their multistate reliability functions on the arbitrarily fixed statistical data coming from the system components states changing processes are performed as well.
