Opis:
This paper attempts to reconstruct the image of present-day Russia, as presented in the contemporary Russian theatre. Combining isolated fragments of new post-perestroika reality into a cohesive whole: the social status of the intelligentsia, of ordinary people, young people and senior citizens and problems of settling accounts with the Communist past and the Chechen war, which have been scattered throughout individual dramatic works, makes it possible to show the author’s appraisal of the social changes. These are expressed through the employment of such metaphorical words and phrases as ‘madhouse / loony bin’, [a right] ‘farce’, [totally] ‘chaotic’, ‘new broom sweeps clean’ etc. The object of scientific reflection is also the ways of artistic realization of the image of Russia. The various means of artistic expression employed in the ‘new drama’: modifications of genre and time-space modifications, historical figures and simulacra, various stylistic means, like irony and grotesque, rhetorical figures, notional metaphors; and finally, inter-textual quotations and references taken from a vast store of pop culture and the language of mass media impart a collage-like atmosphere to the image, which allude through its aesthetics to the theatre of absurd.

Opis:
The article is devoted to the historical evolution and modern development trends of the Constitution of Poland. It provides the general characteristics of formation and development of the Republic of Poland. It is emphasized that Poland is the earliest explorer of the European constitutionalism. Since 1791 in the constitutional history of Poland were approved the nine constitutional documents. In addition, consideration is given to such historical constitutions as the Constitution of May 3, 1791, the Grodno Constitution of November 23, 1793, the Lower Constitution of February 20, 1919, the March Constitution of 1921, the Constitution of 1935, the Constitution of the Peoples’ Republic of Poland of 1952, the Constitution of 1976, the present Constitution of 1997. The article reveals the main features of the present Constitution and characterizes contemporary constitutional system of Poland.
Статья посвящена исторической эволюции и современным тенденциям развития польской Конституции. В ней дается общая характеристика становления и развития Республики Польши. Особо отмечается, что Польша является первопроходцем европейского конституционализма. В польской конституционной истории принято, начиная с 1791 г., девять конституционных актов. Рассматриваются такие исторические Конституции Поль-ши как Конституция 3 мая 1791 г., Гродненская Конституция (23 ноября 1793 г.), Малая Конституция (20 февраля 1919 г.), Мартовская Конституция (1921 г.), Конституция (1935 г.), Конституция ПНР (1952 г.), Конституция 1976 г., действующая Конституция 1997 г. Выявлены основные особенности действующей Конституции и характеризуется современная конституционная система Польши.

This article is about social and cultural time as a constant and recurrent motive in Zygmunt Bauman’s work. Time and detemporalisation processes, continuity and mutability, permanency and episodicity are all sometimes more, sometimes less clearly outlined but always present themes in his analyses of modernity, postmodernity, globalisation, consumption, consumer society, contemporary social polarisation, and the condition of the socially excluded. This recurrent presence of the temporal dimension in Bauman’s writings means that his entire work can be viewed as an original, multidimensional, coherent, consistent and also very interesting voice on time and its vicissitudes in our present world. Bauman’s contribution to the temporal analysis of our age is presented against the broader backdrop of contemporary reflection on the issue of time.

W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono kazus singlizmu, czyli egzystowania jednostki w pojedynkę, solo, bez pary, we współczesnym społeczeństwie polskim. Wiek XXI jest określany przez socjologów mianem rzeczywistości ponowoczesnej, tj. takiej, w której przeobrażeniom podlegają podstawowe wymiary ludzkiej rzeczywistości w aspekcie społecznym, aksjologicznym, politycznym, ekonomicznym itp. Owa reorientacja nie ominęła także podstawowej komórki społecznej, jaką jest rodzina, czego dowodzi upowszechnienie się jednej z tendencji ponowoczesnych, jaką jest singlowanie, tj. egzystowanie w pojedynkę. Czy singlizm faktycznie może zastąpić tradycyjną rodzinę?
The article presents a phenomenon of singlism, in other words living without permanent partner, in a current Polish society. Sociologists define XXI century as a postmodern reality, in which fundamental dimensions of human life are modified, especially in terms of social, axiological, political and economical aspects. This reorientation cannot do without a basic group of the society, which is family; living alone is a perfect example of this. The question arises: can singlism actually substitute a traditional family?

Przedmiotem rozważań jest wprowadzona przez Piaseckiego behawioralna wartość bieżąca (BPV) odzwierciedlająca wpływ wybranych czynników behawioralnych na nieprecyzyjną ocenę wartości bieżącej. Pierwotnym modelem formalnym BPV była liczba rozmyta. Łyczkowska-Hanćkowiak zaproponowała i uzasadniła nadanie BPV orientacji. W ten sposób BPV została reprezentowana za pomocą skierowanych liczb rozmytych. Głównym celem tej pracy jest wyznaczenie zorientowanej BPV dwuskładnikowego portfela. Uzyskany wynik został uogólniony do przypadku portfela wieloskładnikowego.
The subject of considerations is Piasecki’s behavioural present value (BPV), which describes the influence of selected behavioural factors on the imprecise evaluation of present value. The original formal model of BPV was a fuzzy number. Łyczkowska- -Hanćkowiak has proposed and justified the designation of BPV orientation. In this way BPV was represented by ordered fuzzy number. The main purpose of this work is to designate the oriented BPV of two-assets portfolio. Obtained results are generalized to the case of multi-assets portfolio.

The article presents priest Jan Twardowski as a poet who perfectly understood the needs of his small readers, children. The narrator, who makes an appeal to a reader, is a priest who delicately acquaints readers with the problem of faith, love, suffering, despair and death. Jan Twardowski often used to say during interviews that ‘religion is like an educational class in the spirit of Christian culture’. It is a smile and a tear that matter as this is the sphere children operate in. One does not need to instruct’. A child should judge itself on its own and understand that it can do many good things in life. In his works, priest Jan Twardowski gave examples of faith in the effectiveness of heroic actions. He also often highlighted that he talked to his readers and shared the faith with them as didacticism offended him. In her article, the author characterises Jan Twardowski as a subtle poet who stays away from politics and a priest who, regardless of his shyness and inability to become an entrancing speaker, reaches the hearts of numerous listeners during his sermons, especially those for children. He often used to say that when a priest sacrifices Jesus during the Holy Mass and says ‘This is my body. This is my blood’ he identifies himself with Him, not only during the Holy Mass. A priest should always be shy and humble because he was given more than others. A priest who sacrifices so many things should sanctify everything he comes across in his life: people, friendship, the books he reads and poems, if he writes them. Jan Twardowski was of the opinion that ‘in order to become a wonderful priest one first has to be an ordinary, warm-hearted and good person’.

Cel. Doniosłość bogatego muzycznie środowiska została wyeksponowana w wielu badaniach, które dotyczyły dzieci i wybitnych muzyków. Pominięci zostali w nich przyszli nauczyciele pedagogiki przedszkolnej i wczesnoszkolnej. Niniejsze badania stanowią zatem próbę udzielenia odpowiedzi na pytanie: jakie jest znaczenie muzyki w domach rodzinnych studentów pedagogiki przedszkolnej i wczesnoszkolnej? Materiały i metoda. Przebadano 91 studentek pedagogiki przedszkolnej i wczesnoszkolnej. W ramach sondażu diagnostycznego poproszono je o pisemne dokończenie zdania otwartego: „W moim domu rodzinnym muzyka…”. Narracje poddano analizie jakościowej. Wnioski. Badania pokazały m.in., że większość rodzin nie zapewnia bogatych doświadczeń muzycznych ani w zakresie wykonywania muzyki, ani w zakresie uczestnictwa w koncertach muzycznych. Funkcjonowanie muzyki w domu rodzinnym respondentek zostało w większości negatywnie ocenione przez dorosłe dzieci. Z tego względu w moim przekonaniu misją uniwersytetów kształcących pedagogów powinno być uświadamianie studentom, jak doniosłą rolę pełnią rodzice w rozwoju muzycznym dziecka.
Aim. The importance of a musically rich environment has been displayed in many studies concerning children and outstanding musicians. Future teachers of pre-school and early childhood education have been omitted. This research is therefore an attempt to answer the research question: what is the meaning of music for the families of preschool and early childhood students? Materials and methods. The study group consisted of 91 pre-school and early childhood students. The main research method was a diagnostic survey. The students were asked to complete the open sentence in writing: „In my family home, a music ...”. The narratives were analyzed qualitatively. Conclusion. Research has shown, among other things. that most families do not provide a rich musical experience, either in performing music or in attending music concerts. The functioning of music in the respondents’ family homes was mostly negatively assessed by adult children. For this reason, in my opinion, the mission of universities in educating teachers should be to make students aware of the importance of parents in the musical development of a child.

Opis:
The concept of time reveals its complex naturę. It has been encoded in the structure of language in many different ways and it is also permanently present in the discourse. Due to its anthropological character, it is strongly related to the domain of human feelings and imagination. So the time is not simply measured, but it is experienced and lived by as well. As a factor of many different acts, the time undergoes various mental operations. In several types of utterances the concept of time happens to be transformed in some charac- teristic ways: it might be reduced or stopped and one may experience an illusion of time- lessness. Modifications of this kind are being introduced in some special sentence and text structures. Though such constructs might be used in every day speech and in some other kinds of discourse, i.e. in advertisements, they are specific for three types of poetry: poetic meditations, reflective considerations, and lyrical descriptions. The time can also be apparently stopped in the narrative poems, with their specific temporal structures con- nected to the plot. It happens when they are constructed in a particular way undergoing the rule of semantic loop.In this paper some examples of such apparent time flow arrests are discussed as well as their specific functions in poetry.

The occurrence of various factors threatening Polish forests is by no means a new problem and does not refer only to contemporary times. Fundament teorii opcji stanowi stochastyczne modelowanie zmian aktywów podstawowych tych instrumentów w czasie. Aktualnie preferowana praktyczna metodyka wyceny przedsięwzięć z elastycznością (nazywana podejściem MAD) zakłada, że walor bazowy opcji rzeczowych – wartość bieżąca brutto projektu PV – rozwija się w czasie zgodnie z iloczynowym procesem stochastycznym, stanowiącym dwumianową aproksymację geometrycznego ruchu Browna (GBM). Ponadto przyjmuje się, że instrumentem bliźniaczym aktywów podstawowych, którego istnienie jest niezbędnym warunkiem poprawnej wyceny opcji, jest szacowana w analizie DCF wartość zaktualizowana netto – NPV. For many years, real options analysis (ROA) has been perceived as an attractive project valuation alternative to the traditional discounted cash flow analysis (DCF). Right now, one can see evidence of a growing dispersion in the applicability of the method among various industries (particularly minerals, coal, gas and petroleum) and the banking sector. This is because of its potential to value managerial flexibility including possibilities for delaying investments or reformulating the operating strategies of the company. The real option approach enables one to calculate a project’s fundamental value in approximating the market one. The basis of option theory is stochastic modeling of underlying assets – the preferred, commonly used ROA methodology, introduced by Copeland and Antikarov (2001), is called the MAD (marketed asset disclaimer) approach. It assumes that an underlying asset, which is the (gross) present value of the project (PV), changes with time according to the multiplicative stochastic process derived as discrete binomial approximation of geometric Brownian motion (GBM). In addition, the MAD assumes, that a twin asset of the underlying instrument is calculated in a common way net present value (NPV). [...]

Artykuł przedstawia koncepcję wieczności i czasowości w ujęciu wczesnośredniowiecznego myśliciela, filozofa i pisarza łacińskojęzycznego Augustyna z Hippony w kontekście istnienia Boga. Wyjaśniono, w jaki sposób autor odróżnił wieczność od czasu, oraz podkreślono, że wieczność jest warunkiem zaistnienia rzeczywistości temporalnej. W pierwszej kolejności przy omawianiu myśli autora opisano wnioski na temat tego, jak ujmował on wieczność w kontraście z czasowym światem. Augustyn opisuje wieczność jako niezmienność, odróżniając ją od zmienności czasu. Następnie analizie poddano doświadczanie czasowości przez ludzką świadomość i podkreślono subiektywność przeżywania upływania momentów. Augustyn dostrzegł nierozciągłość teraźniejszości i zarazem niemożność zatrzymania się w niej na stałe. Pojmował czas jako formę naszej umysłowości i wyróżnił trzy dziedziny czasu: obecność przeszłości, obecność teraźniejszości i obecność przyszłości. Jak większość mu współczesnych autorów błędnie ujmował czas linearnie, nadając mu określony kierunek, czyli strzałkę, która w rzeczywistości jest naszym złudzeniem poznawczym. W artykule wykorzystano klasyczne dzieła Augustyna z Hippony, takie jak „De civitate Dei” oraz „Confessiones”, i na ich podstawie przedstawiono koncepcje myśliciela z Tagasty oraz dodatkowo rozszerzono je o rozważania na temat subiektywnego przeżywania przemijalności, jakie jest doświadczane w ludzkiej świadomości, opierając się na wiedzy psychologicznej.
The article presents the concept of eternity and temporality in the perspective of the early medieval thinker, philosopher and Latin-language writer Augustine of Hippo in the context of the existence of God. It explains how the author distinguished eternity from time and emphasizes that eternity is a condition for the existence of temporal reality. In the first place, when discussing the author’s thoughts, conclusions are described about how he grasped eternity in contrast with the temporal world. Augustine describes eternity as immutability, distinguishing it from the changeability of time. Then, the experience of temporality by human consciousness was analyzed and the subjectivity of experiencing the passage of moments was emphasized. Augustine saw the impancy of the present and at the same time the impossibility of staying in it permanently. He understood time as a form of our mentality and distinguished three areas of time: the presence of the past, the presence of the present, and the presence of the future. Like most of his contemporaries, he misunderstood time linearly by giving it a specific direction, i.e. an arrow, which in fact is our cognitive illusion. The article uses the classic works of Augustine of Hippo, such as “De civitate Dei” and “Confessiones” and on their basis presents the concepts of the thinker from Tagasta and additionally expands them with reflections on the subjective experience of transience, which is experienced in human consciousness based on psychological knowledge.

Since the eighties of the last century, the Institut für Deutsche Sprache (Institute forthe German Language) explored in various ways the attitudes of the German populationtowards the national language in Germany. Aft er limited studies without statisticalrelevance, two representative surveys were conducted in 1997/98 and 2008/09. Th equestions asked concerned attitudes toward recent developments of the language, the regionalvariance of German, despecially the East- and West-Geman variants, and towardsforeign languages inside and outside of the country. Th e major statitical results are presentedand discussed.
