- The article is an analysis of selected information contained in the portal e-Justice, which has been operating since July 16, 2010. It was generated by actions undertaken by the EU institutions in the implementation of ICT - Communication Technology in the field of law. This article is a kind of guide for those who would like to use the portal. The author presents the legal basis for its functioning as well as selected content area with proposed changes. The portal has been described in the context of the Information Society, which relies heavily on access to knowledge and information in the Internet and therefore also through the featured portal e-Justice. In practical terms, the portal e-Justice is the primary source of information for the citizens, entrepreneurs, legal professionals and the judiciary staff. To ensure the security of legal transactions in the EU, the portal is structured in such a way that everyone could find information on the legal regulations concerning, among others. access to land registers in the Member States of the EU, commercial records and registers of wills, the principles of civil proceedings to carry out a cross-border basis - a European order for payment procedure, European procedure for small claims cases.
