    This study has been narrowed down to reveal aparadox. here the vanguard of cul-ture and civilization - which is regarded as young people of the twenty-first century – is embroiled in adiscourse of exclusion: economic, political and cultural life. in secondary school programs and high schools we do not find specific references and studies, pri-marily based on the needs of students, about the theory of popular culture and cultural education in the area of pop culture. The paradox of exclusion of mainstream culture from educational discourse is schizophrenic. The political exclusion of young people of the xxicentury i consider all the disparaging scientific discourse, which skips the actual media and communication competence of young people. Prosumers, cognitar-chy, digital natives, C-generation – they are for the modern economy “Silicon Valley” - their market power to exclude is already unstoppable. in other areas it remains to be considered whether excluding young people from the cultural discourse will not deprive our future teachers and translators of the next civilization revolution of social reality...

    Opis:
    More than two decades following the end of civil conflict made possible via Dayton Peace Accords (DPA) instated in 1995, Bosnia-Herzegovina still utilizes this international legal instrument as the sovereign’s official constitution. This paper addresses the impact that the international community’s failure to implement the appropriate locally considerate solutions needed to sustain peacebuilding has left behind. To this end, the paper highlights the quotidian ways in which the socio-cultural landscape of the Bosnian Federation and Republika Srpska remain stratified along ethno-religious divisions. Directing its’ attention on the practical aspects where minorities face discrimination and remain excluded from social spheres the paper calls for a necessary advancement on the human rights protection of safeguarding minority members in both of the country’s de-facto territories. In closing, it argues that society’s schism from the residual consequences of the DPA can be achieved through the practices of change-drivers taking advantage of their training and capacity-building skills in the forms of: inter-ethnic dialogue, inter-cultural reconciliation and inter-religious peace. Constructing competences which demonstrate respect for human rights, encourage co-existence and the equal integration of minority members in society also bear the potential to strengthen the currently fragile relations with the out-group community, reducing a society’s propensity for conflict regression.

    The exclusion may take on different forms, on which decide a variety of factors, by which individuals or whole groups of a society are deprived of chances and possibilities, which are accessible to the majority of said society. In the case of homeless persons we will find it within the domain of the deprivation of housing facilities, within the domain of social life and society, but as well in the categories of economic and political exclusion.

    Opis:
    Smart cities (SCs) are a new and rising phenomenon emerging across the globe. The present article focuses on the possible impact of SCs on socio-political life and structure, and the organisation of the target society. Here, SCs are critically considered as the spaces where people live, work and vote. The aim of the present article is to discuss SCs, and the digital technologies used in SCs, as a possible instrument of social and political ordering and of social exclusion. Drawing on empirical evidence from Egypt, particularly Egypt’s new capital, the article sketches out how the smart city has been used by political and military authorities to socially and politically order and engineer society as well as ef- fectively exclude certain groups, mainly political opponents. Life in the new smart capital has a Janus face. On the one hand, inhabitants of the city have access to excellent services, modern infrastructure, first-class education and health care, and high-tech digital technol- ogies which other Egyptians do not benefit from. On the other hand, these inhabitants are under permanent control and are prisoners of the system. Living segregated, with less free- dom than any other Egyptian citizens, they are excluded from natural life in the country and cannot experience any organic development of society.

    This article analyzes the rise and diffusion of the radical changes in the fields of international relations and social security that pose a challenge for capitalist representative democracy. This concept reflects the simple idea that the era characterized by strong global economic influences, worldwide aging population, longevity and longer life expectancy, changing labor markets, migration, technological and communications developments, mobility and transportation gives no reason to believe in representative democracy as the future of the world. This article suggests a new point of view on the discussion of the factors that mostly influence social order, social security, labor markets and democracy.
    Pod koniec XX w. dokonały się radykalne zmiany zarówno w sferze stosunków międzynarodowych, jak i obszarze rozwoju społecznego, które stały się źródłem wyzwań dla bezpieczeństwa politycznego, militarnego, ekonomicznego i społecznego. Co więcej, zachodzące obecnie przemiany społeczno-ekonomiczne wywołane funkcjonowaniem wolnego rynku dają realne podstawy do zakwestionowania tezy, że demokracja przedstawicielska jest przyszłością świata nawet w odniesieniu do demokratycznych państw wysokorozwiniętych. Dodatkowo obnażyły one słabość nieprzystających do obecnych warunków rozwiązań instytucjonalnych mających zapewnić ład i rozwój społeczny.

    Opis:
    The article critically analyses political power in Poland. Two charges are formulated against the authorities: 1. lack of rational economic policy, 2. deliberate sparking of hostility and division in the society. These deliberately destructive divisions are accompanied by manipulation of facts, hypocrisy over the past and incitement of hostility on the basis of political, moral and other differences. A bizarre example of the aberration of the country’s political authorities is establishing “LGBT-free zones”. The article presents threats resulting from the introduction of a failed reform of the educational system. This includes the reduction of protective, medical and social functions of the school, and the commercialization of extracurricular activities, thereby increasing educational inequalities. The article sheds a critical light on employment policy, employee protection and working conditions. The scandalous neglect in this respect has led to the highest economic emigration in recent decades, including that of young people. A separate area of criticism is the scandalous neglect of ecology, lack of concern for renewable energy sources, growing exclusion of communication and growing income inequalities, which puts Poland in the group of countries with the highest social stratification rates.
