Opis:: Presented article is a recapitulation of visible tendencies in both Polish and Czech publishing markets with regard to publications of literary translations of Czech literature in Poland and Polish literature in the Czech Republic in 2016 and 2017. It presents the most important literary translations in each language pair, pointing out leading publishers and the most active translators in this area. Finally, the author outlines general paths along which the Polish literature translations in the Czech Republic and vice versa develop.

Opis:: Komentáře do bibliografie překladů české literatury v Polsku a polské literatury v České republice v 2015 roce je rekapitulaci událostí na polském a českém vydavatelském trhu, spojených s publikací překladů české literatury v Polsku a polské literatury v České republice v roce 2015. V této souvislosti se prezentovaly nejdůležitější překladové publikace v tomto jazykovém páru, uvedla se významná nakladatelství a aktivní překladatele. Kritický přehled je doprovázen stručným nastíněním vývoje polských a českých nakladatelů, zabývajících se prezentací polské literatury v České republice a české literatury v Polsku.
Annotations to the bibliography of literary translations of Czech literature in Poland and Polish literature in the Czech Republic in 2015 is a summation of events in both the Polish and Czech publishing markets, connected with the publishing of literary translations of Czech literature in Poland and Polish literature in the Czech Republic in 2015. Within the framework of annotation, the most important literary translations in this language pair were presented, pointing to the leading publishers and active translators. An evaluative review is linked to a compact outline of the development of Polish and Czech publishers that handle Polish literature in the Czech Republic and Czech literature in Poland.

Opis:: The article surveys the last twenty years of the presence of Polish literature in the Czech Republic. The study focuses on the types and genres of literary texts translated into Czech, the total number of translations published in the period under discussion, as well as typical publishing practices and the network of support offered by Polish cultural institutions. Furthermore, the article offers some insight into the publishing industry and book market in the Czech Republic. The author examines the position of translators from Polish in this industry and the extent of their influence on what is published and how. The quantitative analysis presented in the article sheds light on certain prevalent trends, such as the rising popularity of Polish non-fiction books and the unique status of Polish fantasy literature. Investigating these trends further, the author aims to answer the question of whether the relatively high number of books translated from Polish and currently available on the Czech market is indicative of an actual rise of general interest in Polish literature.
