    Opis:
    Danuta Wawiłow’s poems for children were created in the second half of the 20th century. The poems classify as the language poetry, employing in the compositions the mechanisms and figures of speech characteristic of this aesthetic current. The poet uses stylization, she reconstructs the creative attitude to language typical of kindergarteners, which is based on experimentation and abounding in similar-sounding words. Wawiłow implements the particularly strongly individualized variation of linguism. She tests the language potential with regards to the needs of an individual – a child who attempts to express their feelings, thoughts, and emotions. Wawiłow’s poetry is not only focused on the language, but also explores the subjectivism of the lyrical subject and new ways of its expression.

    Opis:
    The aim of the article is to present some aesthetic and ideological relationships between different cultural texts - the painting of Józef Chełmoński entitled Babie lato (Indian Summer, 1875) and its poetic ekphrasis with the same title written by Michalina Chełmońska-Szczepankowka (1937). The article describes cultural axiology and poetic sense of the perception of the painting which focuses on the visual theme of Indian summer. The presented interpretation demonstrates that the ideological message of the poem comprises the symbols of the Indian summer inspired by the poetics of the painting, namely praise of freedom, imagination and creative artistic thrust, which people derive directly from both the beauty of their native land and the truth about the order of life imposed by the natural law of the motherland, irrespective of its social and economic situation as well as its historical conditions.

    Among numerous books of poetry for children written by Danuta Wawiłow – famous XXth  century Polish poet and writer – one book is special: Poems for Naughty Children  [Wiersze dla niegrzecznych dzieci] published in 1987. The book is unique not only because of the poetical qualities it represents – rhythmicity, melodiousness, catchiness, melancholy and lyricism equally with pure nonsense, absurdity, grotesque, (black) humour and numerous equivoques and puns, which are characteristic for Wawiłow’s poetical works; above all else Poems for Naughty Children  is a collection of translations of the traditional English nursery rhymes, made by Danuta Wawiłow, who claimed more than once that she was a translator long before she had become a writer. The article aims to explore Wawiłow’s translation work which (up to now) remains almost unknown and un-described in Polish theoretical discourse. Moreover, the author presents the outcome of her research conducted to find “missing originals” of translated nursery rhymes, offers the classification of them and undertakes critical reflection over translation strategy adopted by Danuta Wawiłow.

    Artykuł dotyczy profilaktyki logopedycznej dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym. Zaprezentowano grupowe ćwiczenia i zabawy logopedyczne, skoncentrowane wokół tekstu poetyckiego z zakresu literatury dziecięcej. Omówiono kolejno: ćwiczenia słuchowe, oddechowe, fonacyjne, artykulacyjne, logorytmiczne oraz słownikowe i frazeologiczne przeznaczone do realizacji w grupie dzieci w wieku przedszkolnym. Wyznacznikiem tematu i nazwy ćwiczeń jest świat przedstawiony w wierszu „Kwoka” J. Brzechwy.
    The article concerns the prevention speech therapy in preschool children. It presents group exercises and speech therapy games focused on a poetic text from the field of children's literature. The author describes listening, breathing, phonatory, articulatory, and vocabulary and phraseology exercises for the preschool children group. The theme and the name of the exercises are determined by the world presented in the poem "Kwoka" by J. Brzechwa.

    Статья посвящена сопоставлению корпуса «взрослых» текстов В. В. Маяковского со стихами, написанными для детей. Анализ трех из них – Сказка о Пете, толстом ребенке, и о Симе, который тонкий (1925), Эта книжечка моя про моря и про маяк (1926) и Конь-огонь (1927) – позволяет говорить о том, что выраженное более простым языком и менее сложной образностью содержание «детских» текстов поэта подчиняется логике разработки принципиально важных для всего художественного мира Маяковского образов-мифологем: лицо, коллективное тело, «жир» и «жирные», оппозиция «голос» и «жир». Это позволяет иначе воспринимать кажущиеся простыми образы, мотивы и сюжетные ходы детской поэзии Маяковского, отметить специфику перехода поэтологических констант из текстов одной типологической группы в другую при сохранении важнейших структурных принципов.  
    The article is devoted to comparing Mayakovsky’s “adult” texts with his poems written for children. Having analyzed three of the latter – “A Fairy Tale About Petya, a Fat Boy, and Sima, Who Is Thin” (1925), “The Little Book About the Seas and the Lighthouse” (1926) and “The Fire Horse” (1927) – the author concludes that Mayakovsky’s texts for children (although simpler and less complicated in terms of employed imagery) follow the logic of development of the mythological images which are fundamental for the entire work of the poet. They include: the image of face(s), the collective body, “fat” and “fatness” as characteristics of the antagonist, an opposition between “the voice” and “the fat”. The conducted comparison makes it possible to gain another point of view on the deceptively simple images and plots in Mayakovsky’s poems for children. It makes it possible to note how poetic constants pass from texts of one status to texts from another group, with the most important structural principles fully preserved.

    Artykuł stanowi próbę pokazania konstrukcji jednej z głównych bohaterek utworów dla dzieci Ewy Szelburg-Zarembiny Reni. To dziewczynka, która pojawia się nie tylko w opowiadaniach Najmilsi, ale także w wierszach poetki. Renia jest postacią bardzo złożoną, niejednoznaczną, tajemniczo powiązaną ze swoją kreatorką – Zarembiną. Autorka artykułu pokazuje, jak poetka skonstruowała postać dziewczynki i jak bardzo sama przebija się przez te utwory.
    The paper is an attempt to show the construction of one of the main characters of the children’s works by Ewa Szelburg-Zarembina Renia. She is a girl who appears not only in Najmilsi stories but also in the poet’s poems. Renia is a very complex, ambiguous character, mysteriously connected with her creator Zarembina. Through analysis, the author of the article shows how the poet constructed the figure of the girl and how much she breaks through these works.

    The article presents priest Jan Twardowski as a poet who perfectly understood the needs of his small readers, children. The narrator, who makes an appeal to a reader, is a priest who delicately acquaints readers with the problem of faith, love, suffering, despair and death. Jan Twardowski often used to say during interviews that ‘religion is like an educational class in the spirit of Christian culture’. It is a smile and a tear that matter as this is the sphere children operate in. One does not need to instruct’. A child should judge itself on its own and understand that it can do many good things in life. In his works, priest Jan Twardowski gave examples of faith in the effectiveness of heroic actions. He also often highlighted that he talked to his readers and shared the faith with them as didacticism offended him. In her article, the author characterises Jan Twardowski as a subtle poet who stays away from politics and a priest who, regardless of his shyness and inability to become an entrancing speaker, reaches the hearts of numerous listeners during his sermons, especially those for children. He often used to say that when a priest sacrifices Jesus during the Holy Mass and says ‘This is my body. This is my blood’ he identifies himself with Him, not only during the Holy Mass. A priest should always be shy and humble because he was given more than others. A priest who sacrifices so many things should sanctify everything he comes across in his life: people, friendship, the books he reads and poems, if he writes them. Jan Twardowski was of the opinion that ‘in order to become a wonderful priest one first has to be an ordinary, warm-hearted and good person’.
