This study was conducted to determine crop water stress index (CWSI) values and irrigation timing in the case of Derinkuyu dry bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.). In 2017, dry beans were grown as the main crop according to the field design consisting of plots divided into randomised blocks. Irrigation treatment comprised full irrigation (I100) and irrigation issues with three different levels of water stress (I66, I33, I0). This study applied 602 mm of water under the I100 irrigation. The yield of Derinkuyu dry beans was equal to 3576.6 kg∙ha-1 in I100 irrigation. The lower limit (LL) value, which is not necessary for the determination of CWSI, was obtained as the canopy-air temperature difference (Tc - Ta) versus the air vapour pressure deficit (VPD). The upper limit (UL) value, at which the dry beans were wholly exposed to water stress, was obtained at a constant temperature. The threshold CWSI value at which the grain yield of dry beans started to decrease was determined as 0.33 from the measurements made with an infrared thermometer before irrigation in I66 irrigation treatment. As a result, it can be suggested that irrigation should be applied when the CWSI value is 0.33 in dry beans. Furthermore, the correlation analysis revealed a negative correlation between grain yield and crop water stress index and a positive correlation between yield and chlorophyll content. According to variance analysis, significant relationships were found between the analysed parameters at p ≤ 0.01 and p ≤ 0.05.

The study has been carried out at two experimental sites. It aims to assess the impact of the reuse of raw wastewater, purified and diluted with conventional water on the physicochemical quality of soils compared to irrigated soils with conventional drilled water and non-irrigated soil. The obtained results show that the electrical conductivity EC and sodium gradually increase in all the plots irrigated with wastewater. Additionally, a slight increase in the pH levels at the first site and a slight decrease in the second site was seen, but at both sites the soils remained alkaline. The infiltration rate of water slide decreases in relation to the amount of irrigation, especially in plots irrigated by raw and treated wastewater. For the same plots, the values of organic matter increased, and the values obtained for the exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP) became high in the third year and reached 17.0% and 16.7% respectively.

The objective of this study was to determine the influence of 20-year sprinkler irrigation of permanent grassland with potato starch and brewery wastewater on the botanical composition of sward, and the yield and nutritional value of hay. The experiment was carried out in Kupiski-Jednaczewo, near Łomża, NE Poland (approximately 600 ha). Potato starch and brewery effluents were mixed at a ratio of 1:0.4. Wastewater was applied in autumn and after the first harvest, at an annual dose of 200-300 mm. The analyzed wastewater contained on average (mg dm-3): N – 223, P – 48, K – 285, Ca – 80, Mg – 46 and Na – 68. The floristic composition of meadow sward was determined before the first harvest in 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018, while the yield was determined on trial plots. Five major floristic types of grassland communities were identified based on the percentage of dominant species (above 20% share of the sward). Herbage samples were collected for botanical-gravimetric and chemical analyses. Soil samples were collected in 1991 and 2018. Chemical analyses of soil and plant material were performed by standard methods. The following floristic types of grassland communities developed: Alopecurus pratensis (Ap), Arrhenatherum elatius (Ae), Dactylis glomerata + Festuca rubra (Dg+Fr), and Poa pratensis + Dactylis glomerata (Pp+Dg), Phalaris arundinacea + Glyceria maxima (Pha+Gm), and the Festuca rubra + Anthoxanthum odoratum (Fr+Ao) community in the control treatment (non-irrigated grassland). The content of P, K, Fe, Cu, Mn and Zn increased, whereas the content of Ca, Mg and Na, and pH levels decreased in the analyzed soils. Regardless of the floristic type of sward, the yield of grassland irrigated with wastewater was significantly (1.6 to 2.8-fold) higher than the yield of non-irrigated grassland. Hay harvested from wastewater-irrigated meadows met the nutrient requirements of animals in terms of crude fiber, ash and fat, excluding total protein.

Introduction: Irrigation plays an important role in the cultivation of medicinal plants. There is a lack of information on intraspecific variability of reactions to the effect of drought. Objective: The aim of the current study was to test the effect of irrigation on four sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) cultivars (‘Genovese’, ‘Kasia’, ‘Keskenylevelű’, ‘Wala’). Methods: In an open field experiment irrigated and non-irrigated treatments were set. Plants were harvested in full flowering stage. Before the harvest, the stomatal conductance and chlorophyll content were measured. The production-related parameters were recorded. In the plant material the glandular hair density, essential oil content and composition (GC-MS) and volatile composition (SPME-GC-MS) were identified. Results: Stomatal conductance of the irrigated plants was 2.5–4.5 times higher than in the non-irrigated ones. The chlorophyll content showed only slight changes. The irrigation had a positive effect on the production. The leaf to stem ratio was not modified by the watering. Irrigation negatively influenced the glandular hair density and the EO content, however it increased the EO yield by 40–129%, depending on the cultivar. Significant compositional changes were registered only in the EO of cultivar ‘Kasia’ for linalool, 1,8-cineole and tau-cadinole ratios.

The experiment was established in the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) Experimental Field in Skierniewice in the spring of 2018 in three replications. It was conducted on strawberry plants of the cultivar ‘Marmolada’ growing in stoneware containers with a diameter of 0.40 m and a height of 1.20 m, containing about 120 litres of podzolic soil with a pH of 6.2 (in KCl). The experiment was conducted in two variants: at 100% hydration and 50% hydration (2x13 fertilizer combinations). The aim of the study was to assess the impact of beneficial microorganisms and innovative mineral fertilizers enriched with them on the fruiting intensity and fruit quality of two-year-old strawberry plants in container-based cultivation, optimally irrigated and subjected to stress of prolonged water deficiency. The method of fertilizing the strawberry plants did not significantly affect the number of inflorescences and flowers. However, the treatments significantly increased the chlorophyll content in the leaves of optimally irrigated plants, especially where they were fertilized with NPK fertilizers and Urea enriched with filamentous fungi, and also the fertilizers Polifoska 6 and Super Fos Dar 40 enriched with beneficial bacteria. With limited water availability, regardless of the type of mineral fertilizer, the microorganisms did not have a significant impact on the characteristics of the strawberry plants grown. Reducing the availability of water to plants by 50% caused a significant decrease in fruit yield and mean fruit weight. The microorganisms, especially the filamentous fungi, helped to limit the impact of water deficiency on the quantity and quality of the obtained fruit crop, especially when compared with the effect of full mineral fertilization. However, the strawberry fruit yield was lower than the yield of optimally irrigated plants by about 30%. Under optimal irrigation, the NPK fertilizer enriched with filamentous fungi significantly increased fruit yield. Similarly, an increase in yield occurred after the application of the fertilizers: Urea in the recommended dose (100%) with the addition of filamentous fungi, and Super Fos Dar 40 in the amount of 60% of the recommended dose enriched with beneficial bacteria. Additional fertilization with the microbiological preparations increased the strawberry fruit yield. Better effects were obtained on the containers with a lower level of irrigation than on those with optimal irrigation.
Doświadczenie założono na polu doświadczalnym Szkoły Głównej Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego (SGGW) w Skierniewicach wiosną 2018 roku w trzech powtórzeniach. Doświadczenie przeprowadzono na sadzonkach roślin truskawki odmiany ‘Marmolada’ posadzonych w kamionkowych kontenerach o średnicy 0,40 m i wysokości 1,20 m, wypełnionych 120 litrami gleby bielicowej o pH of 6,2 (w KCl). Doświadczenie prowadzono w dwóch wariantach: 100% nawodnienie i 50% nawodnienia (2 x 13 kombinacji nawozowych). Celem pracy była ocena wpływu pożytecznych mikroorganizmów i innowacyjnych nawozów mineralnych wzbogaconych mikrobiologicznie na intensywność owocowania i jakości owoców dwuletnich roślin truskawki uprawianych w kontenerach, optymalnie nawadnianych i poddanych stresowi suszy. Sposób nawożenia roślin nie miał istotnego wpływu na liczbę kwiatostanów i kwiatów truskawki. Natomiast zabiegi te istotnie zwiększały zawartość chlorofilu w liściach roślin optymalnie nawadnianych, szczególnie tam, gdzie nawożono je nawozami NPK i mocznikiem wzbogaconymi grzybami strzępkowymi oraz nawozami Polifoska 6 i Super Fos Dar 40 wzbogaconymi pożytecznymi bakteriami. Mikroorganizmy przy ograniczonym dostępie wody, niezależnie od rodzaju nawozu mineralnego, nie miały istotnego wpływu na wielkość badanych cech roślin truskawki. Ograniczenie nawodnienia roślin o 50% spowodowało znaczny spadek plonu i masy jednego owocu. Mikroorganizmy, a szczególnie grzyby strzępkowe pozwoliły ograniczyć wpływ niedoboru wody na wielkość i jakość uzyskanego plonu, zwłaszcza w porównaniu do wpływu pełnego nawożenia mineralnego. Plon truskawki był niższy w porównaniu do plonu roślin optymalnie nawadnianych o około 30%. Nawóz NPK wzbogacony grzybami strzępkowymi w tych warunkach zwiększał istotnie jego wielkość. Podobnie po zastosowaniu nawozów: mocznika w zalecanej dawce (100%) z dodatkiem grzybów strzępkowych i nawozu Super Fos Dar 40 w ilości wynoszącej 60% dawki zalecanej, wzbogaconego pożytecznymi bakteriami. Nawożenie preparatami mikrobiologicznymi zwiększyło plon owoców truskawki. Lepszy efekt uzyskano w kontenerach o niższym poziomie nawadniania niż w kontenerach z nawodnieniem optymalnym.

The experiment was conducted in the center for wastewater treatment and use in Mątwica-Kupiski (668 ha), which has been equipped with facilities for flood irrigation with wastewater since 1965. Potato starch and brewery effluents were mixed in a storage reservoir at a ratio of 1:0.4. Meadow sward was irrigated with wastewater in autumn and after the first harvest, at an annual dose of 200 – 300 mm. On average, wastewater contained (mg dm-3): N – 223, P – 48, K – 285, Ca – 80, Mg – 46, Na – 68. Before the first harvest in 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018, the floristic composition of meadow sward was determined on an 11-degree scale by the Klapp method. Yield was determined in trial plots. Based on the percentage of dominant species (above 20% share of the sward), several floristic types of grassland communities were identified. Herbage samples were collected for detailed botanical and chemical analyses according to the floristic composition of the identified grassland communities. Chemical analyses of plant material were performed by standard methods. Longterm irrigation of meadow sward with wastewater contributed to the development of agronomically important plant communities, except for the Agropyron repens community in the western part of the research site. The yield of grassland irrigated with wastewater, regardless of a floristic type, was 2- to 3-fold higher than the yield of non-irrigated grassland. Hay harveste in wastewater-irrigated meadows met the crude fiber, ash and fat requirements of animals. The total protein content of hay remained within the recommended limits for high-quality fodder, except for the Alopecurus pratensis + Agropyron repens community.

One of the ways to reduce the water consumption by plants while maintaining their proper quality is to use substances that limit excessive transpiration. Three preparations at following concentrations: Moisturin (10%), Root-Zone (4.5%) and Vapor Gard (1%), were used in the experiment. Moisturin and Vapor Gard were applied in the form of a single spray, and Root-Zone as a single irrigation in mid July.The aim of the research was to assess the effect of several anti-transpirants on some biometric features of the ‘Tardiva’ panicled hydrangea depending on the frequency of irrigation. The following parameters were measured: area, perimeter, width and length of leaf blade, length and width of inflorescences, and the diameter of shoots. Treatment of H. paniculata cv. ‘Tardiva’ with Root-Zone and Moisturin anti-transpirants with a single irrigation every other day allows to reduce the water consumption and obtain shrubs of a quality comparable with plants irrigated twice a day. The use of Moisturin with a twice daily irrigation positively affected the length and width of inflorescences.

Fruit production should be adapted to future scenarios that are frequently associated with scarce resources, especially freshwater and fertilizers. New biologically-based fruit production strategies, i.e. taking into account tree growth and water status, are required to optimize irrigation and fertilization under abiotic stress conditions. It was hypothesized that a moderate abiotic stress, here deficit irrigation with or without nitrogen deficit, in the preharvest period, could decrease postharvest losses due to diseases and pruning weights due to reduced vegetative growth, without sacrificing the yield and fruit quality. This study was conducted over two years using the same trees of ‘Moncante’ nectarine cultivar grown in a commercial orchard. Trees were assigned to three treatments: (1) full irrigation at 80% estimated crop evapotranspiration (ETc), (2) deficit irrigation, i.e. at 75% of full irrigation, and (3) deficit irrigation and deficit nitrogen, i.e. at 75% of full irrigation and 75% of usual N-fertilization adopted by the grower in this commercial orchard. Deficit irrigation alone and in combination with deficit nitrogen reduced postharvest diseases and pruning weights without significant yield losses. Our results suggest that ETc-based approaches of reduced water irrigation may be a sustainable way to decrease phytosanitary inputs and workload in the orchard while maintaining the orchard performance.

Water is the most important environmental factor in growth and fruit yield of trees. To study the effect of deficit irrigation on reproductive characteristics and yield of seven superior olive genotypes of D1, Dd1, Gw, Ps1, Bn3, Bn6, and Ds17. The present research was accomplished in Dallaho Olive Research Station of Sarpol-e zahab, Kermanshah, Iran, in 2014 and 2015. Seven superior olive genotypes were studied in a randomized complete block design with three replicates and three irrigation regimes. The irrigation treatments included: 100% full irrigation (control), 75% deficit irrigation, and 50% deficit irrigation applied during the growth season. The results indicated that the genotypes had different reactions to the deficit irrigation regimes. Dd1 had the highest fruit weight, while the lowest fruit weight was observed in Ps1 and Gw. The highest fruit yield was found in Bn3, Bn6, and Dd1, while the lowest was observed in Ps1. As a result, Bn6 and Dd1 are introduced as the genotypes that are resistant to drought in the field.

Landscape plantations are significantly water demanding in many parts of the world, particularly in dry regions. Adequate water supply is the main limiting factor behind landscape development, maintenance and beauty in such environments. On the other hand, monitoring the growth response of ornamental and landscape plants to irrigation water containing heavy metals can be useful in management and application of municipal wastewaters to these plantations instead of application in edible vegetable crops production, which is common in many urban areas. In the present study, one year old seedlings of Judas tree (Cercis siliquastrum) were irrigated for two years with water containing 0, 15 or 30 mg L–1 of lead (Pb) in absence or presence of cadmium (0 or 5 mg L–1) in a factorial design, and under greenhouse conditions. Heavy metal treatments had no significant effect on leaf SPAD value; however, plants treated with Pb15Cd0 combination had significantly higher SPAD value than Pb30Cd5 combination that showed the lowest leaf SPAD value. Increasing the lead and cadmium levels of irrigation water increased the number of chlorotic and necrotic leaves of plant than control, whereas it reduced the average leaf area and new shoot growth. The control plants or plants treated with lower level of heavy metals showed the highest leaf area and new shoot growth. Leaf photosynthesis rate was significantly reduced in all heavy metal treated plants than control plants, as the lowest amount was in Pb30Cd5 combination treatment. All heavy metal treatments showed higher leaf soluble carbohydrates and proline content than in control plants. Leaf soluble carbohydrates were highest in Pb30Cd0 and Pb30Cd5 treatments, and leaf proline was highest in Pb30Cd5 and Pb15Cd5 treatments. The results indicate that Judas tree is a relatively tolerant species to high concentrations of Pb and Cd in root medium added through the irrigation water, and long term dual application of these heavy metals can have additive harmful effects on plant growth.

Opis:
Testing the globally popular grapevine rootstocks for affinity with new grape cultivars or tolerance potential to stress factors like drought is essential for districts where supplemental irrigation is more frequently needed due to the pressures of a global climate change. In this study, a seasonal evaluation of leaf gas exchange, leaf temperature, leaf greenness (chlorophyll content prediction) and vegetative development of Vitis vinifera L. cv. ‘Prima’ grafted to different rootstock genotypes having great variability in drought tolerance, were investigated. The experiment was conducted in a controlled experimental glasshouse on two-year-old soilless grown ‘Prima’ vines grafted on nine rootstocks [44-53 M, 5 BB, 140 Ru, Ramsey (Syn. Salt Creek), 99 R, Saint George (Syn. Rupestris du Lot), 41 B, 1613 C and 420 A]. A long-term deficit irrigation (DI) was imposed before bud break by reducing water supply to 40% of field capacity derived from concurrent measurements of water content of growth medium and maintained until the end of vegetation period. The rootstocks significantly modulated the physiology and vegetative growth of the scion cultivar in varying degrees according to their genetic features. Among them, 140 Ru rootstock found to be more prominent in terms of mitigating the adverse effect of water deficit on physiology and growth of the scion genotype ‘Prima’ as there were no significant difference between deficit and full irrigation treatments for most of parameters investigated. In general, the ‘Prima’ scion performed better when the rootstocks coming from V. berlandieri × V. rupestris pedigree rather than the others including V. berlendieri × V. riparia.

The purpose of the present study was to determine whether water deficit affects cold hardiness of rhododendron ‘Catawbiense Boursault’, ‘Lee’s Dark Purple’, ‘Prinz Karneval’ and ‘Old Port’ shrubs. Plants were grown in unheated greenhouse and for 14 weeks from June to mid-September were subjected to six irrigation treatments. In the end of September shrubs were left in an unheated greenhouse or planted into the ground and at the beginning of each month from December to March freezing tolerance tests were performed. The results showed that in all rhododendron cultivars the highest cold hardiness was noted in January and February, lower in March but the lowest in December. Application of four-week water deficit period during summer especially between the first and the second vegetative growth may improve the frost resistance of Rhododendron shrubs.
Badania mrozoodporności liści krzewów różanecznika były prowadzone w dwóch sezonach badawczych (od grudnia 2013 roku do marca 2014 roku oraz od grudnia 2014 roku do marca 2015 roku) w Instytucie Ogrodnictwa, w Skierniewicach. Celem przeprowadzonych badań było określenie następczego wpływu regulowanego deficytu nawadniania (RDI) na mrozoodporność krzewów różanecznika odmian ‘Catawbiense Boursault’, ‘Lee’s Dark Purple’, ‘Prinz Karneval’ oraz ‘Old Port’. W poprzednich sezonach wegetacyjnych rośliny były uprawiane w nieogrzewanej szklarni. Podczas 14 tygodni, od czerwca do połowy września, krzewy były nawadniane zgodnie z sześcioma wariantami nawodnieniowymi (T1–T6) wyznaczonymi na podstawie wartości ewapotranspiracji (ETp). Trzy z nich obejmowały jednakowe, stałe nawadnianie roślin: 1 ETp (rośliny kontrolne, dobrze nawodnione – T1), 0,75 ETp (średni deficyt wody – T2), 0,5 ETp (duży deficyt wody – T3). Pozostałe trzy warianty obejmowały zróżnicowane nawadnianie w czasie trzech faz wzrostu roślin: 1–0,5–1 ETp – silny deficyt wody w fazie II (T4), 1–0,25–1 ETp – bardzo silny deficyt wody w fazie II (T5) i 0,5–1–0,5 ETp – duży deficyt wody w fazach I oraz III, i dobrze nawodnione rośliny w fazie II (T6). Fazy nawadniania I i III (każda trwająca po 5 tygodni) odpowiadały wegetatywnej fazie rozwojowej krzewów. Z kolei faza II nawadniania, trwająca 4 tygodnie, odpowiadała fazie inicjacji kwitnienia oraz tworzenia pąków kwiatostanowych. W końcu września odmiany ‘Lee’s Dark Purple’ i ‘Prinz Karneval’ posadzono do gruntu, a ‘Catawbiense Boursault’ i ‘Old Port’ pozostawały w zimie w szklarni. W obydwu sezonach badawczych na początku każdego miesiąca, od grudnia do marca, były przeprowadzane badania mrozoodporności liści, w których określono uszkodzenia mrozowe na podstawie wycieku elektrolitu z uszkodzonych komórek liścia. W pierwszym sezonie badawczym dla odmian ‘Catawbiense Boursault’ i ‘Old Port’ zastosowano wartości temperatury –10°C, –20°C, –25°C, –30°C, a w drugim doświadczeniu odpowiednio dla odmian ‘Lee’s Dark Purple’ i ‘Prinz Karneval’ liście poddano temperaturze –20°C, –25°C, –30°C. Wyniki badań wykazały dla wszystkich czterech odmian różaneczników, że największa mrozoodporność była notowana w styczniu i lutym, średnia w marcu, zaś najmniejsza w grudniu. Wielkość stresu wodnego istotnie wpływała na mrozoodporność krzewów u wszystkich czterech badanych odmian różaneczników. W wyniku zastosowania traktowań nawodnieniowych T2 i T3 rośliny cechowały się gorszą mrozoodpornością, z kolei użycie traktowań nawodnieniowych T4, T5 oraz T6 poprawiało mrozoodporność krzewów podczas zimy w porównaniu do kontroli.

Carbon dioxide sequestration and its long-term immobilisation in biomass is recently an extremely significant problem. Its greatest reserves occur in forests growing all over the globe. A human being, through their conscious action, ought to affect, among other things, the amount of carbon dioxide discharged into the atmosphere and its rational management. Here, quite a good solution seems to be the immobilisation of CO2 in biomass of plants, and in particular, in trees, characterised by their longevity, which are used most frequently for that purpose. Such carbon dioxide management allows for its several-decade immobilisation within living plants, while a further processing of wood mass allows for halting it for consecutive years in products manufactured. Additionally, in the case when within a selected land planted with trees the effluent irrigation is being carried out, simultaneous sewage treatment is also an advantage. By using plants characterised by intense increment in biomass within facilities, also biogens occurring in effluents may be effectively removed. In the analysed case, sewage treatment consisted in entry of household sewage into a prepared surface which was previously subject to mechanical purification. All the sections were sown with grass mixture and plantings of poplar were used. Observations were made during the period of 17 years. The effluents entered onto the surface of the sections and the effluents outflowing from the facility were subject to a physicochemical analysis in order to determine the operational efficiency of a plant - soil treatment system. Also, a threefold inventory of a forest stand was made in order to determine the increment in trees. The last inventory was made in 2014. Based on dendrological characteristics, the average volume of wood mass obtained from the land irrigated with effluents was assessed. A rational management of effluents on the grounds without any central drainage allows for a parallel solution to some problems. First of all, purification of effluents in a natural environment by closing the matter cycle, and additionally contributing to the limitation of carbon dioxide emission by its halting in plant biomass.
Sekwestracja dwutlenku węgla, jego długotrwałe unieruchomienie w biomasie jest ostatnio problemem niezwykle istotnym. Największe jego rezerwy znajdują się w lasach porastających kule ziemską. Człowiek poprzez swoje świadome działanie powinien wpływać między innymi na ilość dwutlenku węgla odprowadzanego do atmosfery oraz na racjonalne gospodarowanie nim. Dość dobrym rozwiązaniem zdaje się tu być unieruchomienie CO2 w biomasie roślin, a w szczególności w charakteryzujących się długowiecznością drzewach, które wykorzystywane są w tym celu najczęściej. Taka gospodarka dwutlenkiem węgla pozwala na kilkudziesięcioletnie unieruchomienie go w żywych roślinach, natomiast dalsza przeróbka masy drzewnej na zatrzymanie go przez kolejne lata w wytworzonych produktach. Dodatkowo w przypadku kiedy na wybranym, obsadzonym drzewami terenie prowadzi się nawodnienia ściekami, korzyścią jest również równoczesne oczyszczanie ścieków. Przy wykorzystaniu na obiektach roślin charakteryzujących się intensywnym przyrostem biomasy można również efektywnie usunąć biogeny znajdujące się w ściekach. W analizowanym przypadku oczyszczanie ścieków polegało na wprowadzeniu na przygotowaną powierzchnię ścieków bytowych, poddanych wcześniej mechanicznemu oczyszczeniu. Wszystkie kwatery obsiano mieszanką traw oraz zastosowano nasadzenia topolowe. Obserwacje prowadzono przez okres 17. lat. Analizie fizykochemicznej poddawano ścieki wprowadzane na powierzchnię kwater oraz odpływające z obiektu celem określenia skuteczności pracy oczyszczalni roślinno-glebowej. Przeprowadzono również trzykrotną inwentaryzację drzewostanu w celu określenia przyrostu drzew. Ostatnią inwentaryzację wykonano w roku 2014. Na podstawie charakterystyki dendrologicznej oszacowano średnią miąższość masy drzewnej uzyskanej z terenu nawadnianego ściekami. Racjonalna gospodarka ściekami na terenach bez centralnej kanalizacji pozwala na równoległe rozwiązanie kilku problemów. Przede wszystkim oczyszczanie ścieków w środowisku naturalnym poprzez zamykanie obiegu materii, a dodatkowo przyczynianie się do ograniczenia emisji dwutlenku węgla poprzez zatrzymywanie go w biomasie roślin.
