    Opis:
    The subject of the consideration contained in the article is topological logic interpreted as place logic and its possible applications in a logical analysis of legal reasoning. The first part of the article is about significance of widely understood spatial element in a law and about a role of formal logic in legal sciences (especially in dogmatic of law) and in legal discourse. There are also given conditions imposed on logical systems which can be applied to analyse legal reasoning. In the second part there is characterization of topological logic interpreted as place logic. In the third part there are examples of formalization of sentences of legal language and of legal inferences using symbols occurring in place logic. In the article there is shown that such kind of logic can be applied to logical analysis some reasoning conducted in legal language, specifically such reasoning in which there appear sentences including, in an explicit or a hidden way, phrase “in place”, that is, information about that, where certain events are realized.

    The philosophy of Kitaro Nishida (1870-1945) begins with pure experience through the concepts of Absolute Nothingness and Logic of Place to end up immersed in his theory of Self-Identity of Absolute Contradictories (Absolute Contradictions of Identity). His theory can also be understood in the light of mine that deals with Nothingness and Love and which I expounded in „Philosophy of Nothingness and Love” (Lambert Academic Publishing, Saarbrücken). Pure experience is the flow of life in an indefinite state of consciousness in which there is no distinction between subject and object and that precedes all judgment or elaboration. From this point of view, the pure experience, flow of life in the world, becomes part of Biocosmology. In addition, it is a conscious experience that goes beyond words. It is the intuitive experience of nothingness as reality. This intuition of nothingness was already experienced by Lao-Tsu, Chuang-tzu, in ancient China, by Buddha in India, by Solomon who said in Israel, „Vanity! Vanity! All is vanity! „, Was also intuited by Jesus Christ; and in Europe, by Plato, Aristotle, Pascal, Nietzsche, Heidegger, and others who had similar experiences. Aristotle intuited the nothing and said that philosophy was to ask. Kitaro Nishida, who also experienced the difficulties of life, comes to intuit the nothingness in some occasions. This is the path of your intuition that brings you to nothing → the infinite → eternity → the transcendent being (God) → love. To this infinite scope of his thought I call „Infinite Horizon of Consciousness” (無限 の 意識 地平), or Infinite Scope of Consciousness, which is absolute nothingness. This is the concept of „τοπος” (topos, „place”) of Aristotle. Moreover, Nishida defines the present, in which absolute nothingness is verified, and includes in it the past and future in an „Eternal Now”.

    Władysław Tatarkiewicz był jednym z najbardziej znaczących polskich historyków filozofii, historyków sztuki i estetyki. W rzeczywistości jednak był on nie tylko historykiem, lecz także uczonym o szerokich zainteresowaniach w zakresie filozofii systematycznej (aksjologii ogólnej, etyki, estetyki i metodologii nauk humanistycznych). W tekście poddaję pod dyskusję jego ważne metodologiczne i metafilozoficzne idee. Artykuł nie jest jednak tylko prezentacją poglądów metafilozoficznych/metodologicznych Tatarkiewicza, lecz jest także próbą rekonstrukcji jego filozoficznego stanowiska.
    Władysław Tatarkiewicz was one of the most signifi cant polish historian of philosophy and historian of art and aesthetics. In reality he was not only a historian but also a scholar of broad interest in area of systematic philosophy (aesthetics, general axiology, ethics and methodology of humanities). In this paper I discuss his important methodological and metaphilosophical ideas. The article presents not only Tatarkiewicz’s metaphilosophical/methodological opinions but also tries to reconstruct specifi city of his philosophical position.
