Opis:
Purpose: To establish the dependence of the change in the values of the twisting angle of the flexible pipeline on the internal water pressure and the defect length, which is directed along and across the axis of the sleeve. Design/methodology/approach: Experimental studies were conducted in two stages. At the first stage, the methodology and plan of the experiment were developed, the factors and their values were determined, and experimental studies were conducted. The limits of variation in the area of factor spaces were established based on the basic analysis of a priori information. The length of the defect was 0, 50 and 100 mm. The pressure values in the sleeve were 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 MPa. Adequacy of the obtained regression equations was checked using Fisher's test. At the second stage, the analysis of the research results was carried out and the numerical values of the factors that most affect the change in the value of the twisting angle of the sleeve were established. Findings: According to the results of experimental studies, the dependences of the change in the twisting angle of the flexible pipeline on the internal water pressure and the length of the defect were obtained. It was established that the dependence of the previously mentioned factors is close to linear. The largest discrepancy in the maximum sleeve twist angle – 21% was observed at pressure values of 0.4 MPa. Research limitations/implications: The research was limited to only two factors: the defect length and the pressure in the middle of the sleeve. Such factors as the degree of wear of the sleeve, the type of sleeve and the number of defects on the test sample were not taken into account. Practical implications: The obtained results can be used during the development of a new method of testing flexible pipelines, which will allow to establish hidden defects in them. Originality/value: For the first time, the dependence of the influence of the size and direction of the defect on the reinforcing frame of the pressure fire hose on the value of its twist angle at constant internal pressure indicators was established.

This paper presents the findings of two experiments on pied-piping by a prenominal adjunct in Hungarian focus- and wh-constructions. According to Webelhuth (1992) and Cable (2010), pied-piping from adjunct islands is prohibited. The results of the experiments, however, suggest that not only is it possible in Hungarian for the pied-piper to be embedded inside an adjunct island but the embedding of the pied-piper and the movement itself are unrestricted in focus-construction. Pied-piping shows a similar picture in wh-constructions with the restriction that the wh-element has to be discourse-linked for pied-piping to be allowed.

Opis:
Assessment of the negative impact on the components of the natural environment during the scheduled and repair outages of gas-compressor units in transportation the process of the natural gas was the purpose of the performed scientific work. The results of the monitoring studies, in which the methane concentrations were measured in the atmospheric air near the source of pollution and on the border of the sanitary protection zone during volley emissions of natural gas into the atmosphere, are presented in the article. In addition, a method that eliminates the release of the natural gas into the atmosphere during the scheduled and repair outages of gas-compressor units are suggested in the article. The method is based on the redistribution of gas flows and the direction of natural gas to the gas distribution station. Volley emissions of methane into the atmosphere will completely eliminated as a result of implementing this method. The proposed technical solution is aimed at reducing the negative impact on atmospheric air near gas compressor stations. Moreover, the proposed method is able to minimize the economic damage to gas companies because of the loss of marketable products.

The aim of this article are considerations on welded and non-welded tube connection technologies, with advantages and disadvantages of both. After choosing non-welded solutions as the assembly method of choice, the thesis progresses to describing the most widely-used tube connection technologies (JIC, Ermeto, retain ring flanges, flared tube flanges and other, minor, solutions) and their properties.
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie rozważań na temat spawanych i niespawanych połączeń rurociągów, wraz z wadami i zaletami tych dwóch podejść do łączenia rur. Wybrawszy metody niespawanego budowania rurociągów, praca opisuje najpopularniejsze techniki łączenia rur (JIC, Ermeto, kołnierze z pierścieniem oporowym, kołnierze do rur kielichowanych i inne, rzadsze systemy), wymieniając ich charakterystyczne cechy.

The paper is concerned with an application of the climate-weather change process for a critical infrastructure operating area model to identification and prediction of this process for the port oil piping transportation system operating area. For the considered piping operating area, there are distinguished three different climate-weather change processes and their states.
