Opis:: W artykule wyjaśniono pojęcie gamifikacji oraz pokazano przykład jej skutecznego zastosowania w edukacji. Przedstawiono koncepcję użycia gamifikacji w procesie nauczania na uczelni wyższej. Do zaproponowanej koncepcji przedstawiono autorski edukacyjny system gamifikacyjny oraz omówiono pierwsze wyniki związane z jego pilotażowym wdrożeniem. Na zakończenie omówiono kierunki dalszych prac.
The purpose of this article is to introduce the subject of gamification as well as the attempt of transfering it into the teaching process carried out in the university. A concept of gamification in the process of teaching is also presented as well as the author's educational gamification system. This system is based on responsive web design technique and contains: points, leader-boards, different types of possible missions, etc. The first results related to its pilot implementation are presented. At the end the attention was focused on possible further developments.

Opis:: The aim of the study is to analyze the impact of exemption from pilotage for 75m and 90m long vessels entering Szczecin on navigation safety on the waterway Świnoujście-Szczecin. Available sources concerning the influence of maritime pilotage on the safety of navigation have been analysed. Such data have been collected and made available only for the Danish Straits, the Great Barrier Reef Area of Australia, the Bosporus Straits and the Tokyo Bay. The study also included an analysis of economic effectiveness of pilotage exemption in this area.

Opis:: Proces manewrowania statkiem na akwenach ograniczonych wymaga od załogi statku wykorzystania usług pilota (ekspert znający parametry hydrometeorologiczne i batymetryczne danego akwenu manewrowego). W celu zapewnienia pilotowi źródła informacji niezależnego od statkowych systemów proponuje się wprowadzenie pilotowego systemu nawigacyjnego. W artykule przedstawiono metodę testowania graficznego interfejsu użytkownika w pilotowym systemie nawigacyjnym. Opisano metody pozyskiwania danych do analizy efektywności pracy z interfejsem. Określono, jakie parametry powinny być rejestrowane podczas badań testowych. Opracowana metoda pozwala na weryfikację przydatności skonstruowanego interfejsu użytkownika w pilotowym systemie nawigacyjnym.
Using Portable Navigation Systems (PNS) requires specially constructed interface while navigating in confined areas. User interface must be optimal according to its layout and navigational information shown on it. There is also a need to analyze which information on the electronic chart is indispensable and which may be removed, without affecting the system's usability. Ergonomics and usability engineering gives appropriate tools to develop, verify and test optimal user interface. the paper presents main testing methods of user interface in PNS. Methods of electronic chart selection have been shown. Before using the interface in real conditions, several tests were conducted and the paper presents them respectively.

Opis:: The brand new technologies more frequently revolutionize the conservative fields of the navigation, such as ECDIS for instance. The term of "E-Navigation" in the different forms is omnipresent in the major parts of navigation, tried to substitute old-fashion technologies. The pilotage service is one of them, remains immutable in its novelty and stays conservative from many years. The author focused on the technical aspects of the system named Remote Pilotage System, as an aid to the in-shore and sea piloting methods. The content of this article is focused on the analysis of methods for the voice-way information communication to the navigator and the different interface figuration for the pilot. The described researches are the part of holistic method of navigational information communication analysis for the Remote Pilotage System Interface.
Konserwatywne sposoby prowadzenia nawigacji są coraz częściej rewolucjonizowane przez nowe technologie, na przykład elektroniczne mapy nawigacyjne ECDIS. Termin "E-nawigacja" pod różną postacią jest obecny w głównych dziedzinach nawigacji, sukcesywnie zastępując przestarzałe metody jej prowadzenia. Usługa zdalnego pilotażu jest jedną z nich, pozostaje niezmienna w swojej innowacyjności i trwa w konserwatyzmie od wielu już lat. Autor skoncentrował się na technicznych aspektach systemu nazwanego Systemem Zdalnego Pilotażu, przeznaczonego do wspomagania pilotażu na akwenach ograniczonych oraz w żegludze pełnomorskiej. Treść artykułu poświęcona jest analizie metod komunikowania głosowego informacji nawigacyjnych do nawigatora oraz różnym konfiguracjom interfejsu dla pilota. Opisane badania są częścią całościowej analizy metod komunikowania informacji nawigacyjnych w Interfejsie Systemu Zdalnego Pilotażu.

Artykuł ten zawiera odwołanie do orzeczeń Izby Morskiej w Gdyni w sprawie, w której pilot morski przyczynił się do spowodowania wypadku w gdańskim porcie. Analizie poddano również rolę pilota morskiego w zapewnieniu bezpieczeństwa żeglugi w porcie.
This article deals with the influence of the maritime pilot on safety of navigation. The role of the pilot is somewhat marginalized, although his activity is directly related to ensuring the safety of navigation in sea ports, protection of the marine environment and minimizing the risk of collision with ships and port infrastructure. Pilot services have been entrusted to private entrepreneurs who meet certain legal requirements and are subject to supervision by the maritime administration. The article contains a reference to the decisions of the Maritime Chamber in Gdańsk in a case, in which the maritime pilot contributed to an accident in the port of Gdańsk and the analysis of these decisions in the context of the role of the pilot in the safety of navigation in port.

Opis:: Approaches to the port are usually considered high traffic areas. Not only deep draft vessels pass through this limited manoeuvring space, but also intensive pleasure craft traffic, especially during the summer season. Crossing of both commercial ships and pleasure craft traffic may generate dangerous situations for navigation. The aim of the following article is to present solutions to the aforementioned safety problem. The article focuses on the navigation safety aspects at the Świnoujście seaport entrance. Currently, Świnoujście-Szczecin Port Regulations take only large ships into consideration while specifying the safety passing at this area, at the same time, belittling the presence of small crafts up to 20 m in length. In order to prove the need for change, one should first present the necessary research concerning the evaluation of the safety level of maximum sized ships navigating at the Świnoujście entrance area in the presence or absence of small pleasure crafts. The surveys were conducted on a group of pilots and captains possessing pilot exemption certificates. The research findings clearly show that the traffic of small crafts and large ships should be separated due to safety concerns. Thus, marine traffic engineering solution is suggested in order to eliminate the most plausible dangers.

Opis:: Podstawowym przeznaczeniem śmigłowca PZL SW-4 jest szkolenie pilotów, na śmigłowcach jednosilnikowych lądowania autorotacyjne są jednym z podstawowych elementów tego szkolenia. Z tego też powodu producent musi dążyć do wypracowania takiej procedury lądowania autor otacyjnego, aby była ona możliwie prosta, powtarzalna i z odpowiednimi marginesami bezpieczeństwa. Podczas V Forum Wiropłatowego przedstawiono technikę lądowania autorotacyjnego wypracowaną na etapie prób certyfikacyjnych (fabrycznych). W bieżącym roku zostały przeprowadzone dodatkowe próby śmigłowca PZL SW-4, mające na celu modyfikację tej techniki. Ponad 220 lądowań autorotacyjnych (" hot auto-rotation ") zrealizowanych przez dwóch pilotów doświadczalnych PZL Świdnik w ramach tych prób pozwoliło na wypracowanie zmodyfikowanej procedury lądowań autrorotacyjnych uproszczonej w stosunku do poprzedniej i dającej większą powtarzalność trajektorii lądowania, a także większe marginesy na możliwość popełnienia błędu przez szkolonego pilota. Wyniki tych prób doprowadziły do zmiany procedury lądowania autorotacyjnego po całkowitej utracie napędu zamieszczonej w "Instrukcji Użytkowania w Locie ". Przebieg i wyniki powyższych prób są przedmiotem artykułu.
The basic intent of the PZL SW-4 is for pilot training, and on single-engine helicopters autorotation landings are one of the basic elements of this training. For this reason the manufacturer must work towards creating a procedurę for autorotation landings that is as simple and repeatable as possible and that contains relevant safety margins. During the V Rotoreraft Forum the techniąue of autorotation landings was presented at the certification tests (industrial) stage. During the present year, additional tests of the PZL SW-4 helicopter took place, whose aim is the modification of this technique. Over 200 "hot" autorotation landings, carried out by 2 test pilots at PZL Świdnik enabled the creation of a modified procedure of autorotation landings simplified, with respect to the preceding one and providing for a larger repeatability of the landing trajectory, as well as larger margins of errors committed by a trained pilot. The results of these tests led to a change in the procedurę for an autorotation landing after the complete loss of thrust, contained in the in-flight operation manual. The process and results of the tests described above are the subject of this article.

Opis:: Marine accidents are caused by complex and diverse causes. Therefore, it is necessary to analyse accidents from the perspective of the whole system rather than the existing analysis models that focus on cause-effect. The STAMP analysis is a constraint-based model that focuses on improper management or enforcement of safety-related constraints in system operation. Thus, as a case study of the application of the STAMP technique in marine accident analysis, the Milano Bridge pier contact accident that occurred on April 6, 2020 in Busan New Port of South Korea was analysed by the STAMP technique in this study. Through this study, it was proposed to break away from the domestic accident investigation, which focused only on the punishment of the ship operator, and to suggest improvements that enable organizations related to the marine accidents to take initiative to take efforts for safety.

Opis:: Pilotage operations require close interaction between human and machines. This complex sociotechnical system is necessary to safely and efficiently maneuver a vessel in constrained waters. A sociotechnical system consists of interdependent human- and technical variables that continuously must work together to be successful. This complexity is prone to errors, and statistics show that most these errors in the maritime domain are due to human components in the system (80 ? 85%). This explains the attention on research to reduce human errors. The current study deployed a systematic human error reduction and prediction approach (SHERPA) to shed light on error types and error remedies apparent in pilotage operations. Data was collected using interviews and observation. Hierarchical task analysis was performed and 55 tasks were analyzed using SHERPA. Findings suggests that communication and action omission errors are most prone to human errors in pilotage operations. Practical and theoretical implications of the results are discussed.

Opis:: Pilotage is considered as the most critical leg of navigation and a complex operation in maritime domain. In this paper, we argue that Distributed Situation Awareness (DSA) is an important construct in pilotage as the information required to carry out operations is distributed between agents and artefacts. We identify the central themes from the theory of DSA which are useful in describing modern day complex socio-technical systems. Further, based on the central themes, we propose guidelines for evaluating bridge teams involved in pilotage operations.

Uczenie programowania wpisuje się w strategiczne cele związane z rozwojem kapitału ludzkiego i społecznego Polski, wyrównywaniem szans osób z różnych środowisk i regionów naszego kraju oraz budowaniem gospodarki konkurencyjnej, opartej na wiedzy i zrównoważonym rozwoju. Warto zauważyć, że ogólnie umiejętność programowania to tylko część szeroko rozumianych kompetencji cyfrowych i medialnych, a powszechność technologii komunikacyjnych sprawia, że jakość życia obywateli współczesnego społeczeństwa w coraz większym stopniu zależy od zdolności rozumienia i korzystania z informacji docierających do nas za pośrednictwem mediów. Programowanie należy wprowadzić do edukacji formalnej i nieformalnej jak najwcześniej, od pierwszych klas szkół podstawowych, a nawet już w przedszkolu. Po odpowiedniej modyfikacji podstawy programowej przedmiotów informatycznych może być ona wdrażana we wszystkich klasach, szkołach oraz wszystkich etapach kształcenia, czyli od edukacji wczesnoszkolnej aż do matury.
Non-governmental organizations, public and private institutions, as well as teachers and teachers, active for years in promoting and teaching programming very positive about the creation of a modern model of digital education in Poland, and in particular to learn programming in school and outside school. It is the Minister of Education Anna Zalewska, Minister Digitization Anna Streżyńska and the Minister of Science and Higher Education Jaroslaw Gowin implement the introduction of science program in Polish schools, together with a proposal of changes in the core curriculum information proposed by the Council. Learning programming in line with the strategic objectives related to the development of human capital and social Polish, equal opportunities for people from different backgrounds and regions of our country and building a competitive, knowledge-based and sustainable development. It is worth noting that the general programming skills are only part of wider digital literacy and media, and the universality of communication technology makes the quality of life of modern society increasingly depends on the ability to understand and use information coming to us through the media. Programming must enter into formal and informal education as early as possible, from the first year of primary school, and even in kindergarten. After suitable modification of the curriculum items of information, it can be implemented in all classes, schools and all levels of education, ie from early childhood education to high school.
