Space-Time Geometry
Opis:
The space-time geometry around a photon was held constant despite the photon sources speed relative to a reflector, in a previous publication [1]. This resulted in the conservation of energy and momentum being balanced for a reflection, when motion of a reflector occurs after a reflection, relative to a reflector and a photon sources perspective, for the first time, to the author’s knowledge. As a result, photons from moving sources have energies that are not equal to the energies observed. As photon sources moving towards and away from a reflector reflects photons, there may be mechanisms where energy deficient photons and photons with excess energy, compared to what is observed, acquire energy and disperse energy from and to its surroundings, respectively, so a reflection can occur. A reflector can be in a solid, liquid or a gas, where each phase presents possible sources of energy, for energy deficient photons, and possible sinks for photons with excess energy. No discreet and non-discreet energies associated with the phases of matter are disregarded as a possible source or sink, as this may delay detection of energy deficient photons and photons with excess energy, where tests for their detection are suggested.

Opis:
The paper stresses the issue of strong temperature influence on the gain of a Silicon Photomultiplier (SiPM). High sensitivity of the detector to light (single photons) requires stable parameters during measurement, including gain. The paper presents a method of compensating the change of gain caused by temperature variations, by adjusting a suitable voltage bias provided by a precise power module. The methodology of the research takes in account applications with a large number of SiPMs (20 thousand), explains the challenges and presents the results of the gain stabilization algorithm.

Opis:
Life is considered to be quantitative phenomena based upon principles derived from Astronomy, Physics, and Chemistry. The mass equivalence of the total energy from the Sun that occurred over the terrestrial surface from 3.5 billions ago to present is within the range of empirical estimations for the total biomass on the Earth. If the mass of living systems is the converted photon energy integrated over time then the ubiquitous emissions of photons in the order of picoWatts per square meter may not be a metabolic artifact but a reflection of the matter’s origin. Quantification demonstrates this magnitude of photon flux density is an expected dissipation from the photon-mass conversion that defines living systems. Because all energy, particularly photons, within Life on this planet originated from the Sun their maintenance as Popp (virtual) photons creates the conditions for non-local effects between solar activity and Life. The occurrence of entanglement between solar-terrestrial photons could alter the models, mechanisms, and attributions for the persistent and multiple correlations between solar activity and the phenomena measured within various levels of discourse from physical chemistry to large groups of organisms.

Responses of thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs) of CaF2:Dy, CaF2:Mn, and LiF:Mg,Cu,P to the deposited energy of monochromatic 1.75–3.5 keV radiation were measured with respect to an increase in the local dose due to the attenuation length that was much shorter than the TLD thickness. The responses of TLDs to X-ray emission from the laserproduced aluminium plasma were found to be independent of the dose rate within a wide range.

The Conservation of Energy and Conservation of Momentum was balanced in 2016 for the first time, from the perspective of the reflector, to the authors knowledge, when motion of a reflector results after a reflection. The method used for balancing the conservation laws was applied to the model of the Expansion of the Universe and a direct correlation to the peak wavelengths of the Cosmic Microwave Background was determined and associated with the maximum velocities of the Expansion of the Universe model. The method also indicates there may be more celestial bodies moving toward an observer than what is currently observed through modern telescopes. An experimental setup is presented, but not tested, that may be able to view an increase of celestial bodies compared to what is currently observed through modern telescopes.

Opis:
The astronomical contributions of Sir Arthur Eddington have sometimes been distracted by his philosophy and his derivation of ~1079 for the total number of elementary particles in the universe. However, assumptions employed to obtain the universal mass in a volume of ~1079 m3 produce values remarkably commensurate with ~1079 protons. The congruence between the calculated gravitational forces for rest mass photons separated by Planck’s length and potassium ions separated by the distance that maintains a neuron’s resting plasma membrane potential is also consistent with his assumption that universal structure is mirrored within consciousness and its extensions through sensitive instrumentation. Recent measurements of photon emissions during changes in membrane potentials and human beings engaging in visual imagery as well as the concept of entanglement suggest that careful reevaluation of Eddington’s approach in cosmology, astronomy, and astrophysics may be revealing.

Opis:
To explore the boundary between quantum and classical physics in the context of quantum entanglement, the particle localization via measurement induced entanglement on photons incident onto a distinguishable, massive non-interacting two-particle system was studied. The specific case of how particles acquire well defined spatial localization when light is scattered off and detected was considered. The localization process studied both qualitatively and quantitatively was observed to be valid for particles which were initially localized as well as initially completely delocalized. The localization scheme was also observed to be extremely sensitive to its initial conditions. Furthermore, a difference in the localization scheme in terms of the number of scattering events was observed between monochromatic photons and photons with variable frequencies. From all these results it was apparent that we can interpret the uniquely quantum features of entanglement in terms of classicality.

Opis:
Quantitative solutions involving classical methods indicated that the numbers of quantum foci within the human cerebrum are the same order of magnitude as the numbers of synapses in the cerebral cortices. The Bohr frequency for the magnitude of the quantum associated with the removal of one nucleus from another is within the range of the width of synapse (~1 μm) while the recoil energy from a rest mass photon is equivalent to the energy produced by the entire field of dynamic neurons per second. The intrinsic energy (10-20 J) associated with each action potential is similar to the gravitational potential energy from Planck’s mass applied across 1 μm. Both the endogenous cerebral magnetic field strength which is similar in magnitude to intergalactic intensities and the interaction between weak geomagnetic variations and the cerebrum’s electric dipole current are associated with photon flux densities in the order (10-11 W∙m-2) that have been measured in the laboratory. The perspective of the human cerebral volume as a field of foci of photon quanta offers different perspectives for the intrinsic nature of consciousness and cognition and their influence by phenomena from astronomical origins.
