    Twórczość już od dawna nie jest postrzegana jedynie jako domena poetów i artystów, a możliwość rozważania jej natury nie jest zarezerwowana tylko dla estetyki. W swoich analizach chciałabym pokazać tę wielokierunkowość badań nad fenomenem creatio, który współcześnie coraz częściej łączony jest z opisywaną przez psychologów uniwersalną ludzką kreatywnością. Tekst niniejszy, wprowadzając w podstawowe rozważania nad definiowaniem i wyjaśnianiem twórczości dawniej i dzisiaj, ma jednocześnie ułatwić podjęcie kwestii bardziej szczegółowych i specyficznych dla współczesnych analiz (kwestie te podejmuję w artykule „O głównych dylematach filozofii twórczości. Ujęcie syntetyczne z uwzględnieniem badań współczesnych”, który stanowi niejako przedłużenie przedstawionych tu treści). Niniejsze wprowadzenie do dziedziny filozofii twórczości zostało wykonane w trzech krokach: (1) poprzez przywołanie rozważań dokonanych już wcześniej przez filozofów; (2) przez opisanie tradycyjnych i współczesnych sposobów definiowania pojęcia twórczości (i kreatywności) oraz (3) poprzez przedstawienie wybranych popularnych psychologicznych teorii procesu twórczego.
    It has been a long time since the ability to create is not percieved only as the domain of poets and artists, and the eventuality of deliberating over its nature is not restricted only to aesthetics. In the present analyses I would like to show this modern and postmodern variety of the studies on the creatio phenomenon, which today is often to be comprehended as the universal human creativity (described mainly by psychologists and educators). By introducing the fundamental considerations over the traditional and non-traditional definitions and explanations of creativity, this article has to facilitate at the same time the task of raising more specific and detailed issues (which I partly describe in the article “On the main dilemmas of the philosophy of creativity: A synthetic view of the contemporary research” in this volume of Roczniki Filozoficzne). The present introduction to the philosophy of creativity field will be made in three main steps: (1) by evoking some previous philosophical analyses, (2) by describing the traditional and modern ways of defining the concept and (3) through showing the selected psychological theories of the process of creating the new, valuable and original artifact.

    The Polish version of the article was published in Roczniki Humanistyczne vol. 57, issue 1 (2009). This article is devoted to Zbigniew Herber’s thoughts concerning esthetics. The author interprets the poet’s letters written to various people (among others, to Halina Misiołkowa, Czesław Miłosz and Jerzy Zawieyski) and looks for his opinions on art and creativity. He treats the letters not as auxiliary materials for the study of poetry, but as the main subject of his research. He perceives the transition from private letters to writing poetry as a consequence of the axiological connections joining both of these types of expression. He pays special attention to Herbert’s care for the consciousness of the aims of art, stemming from historical experience. The poet himself defined them in one of the letters as “ordering the world.”

    Studying the work of this or that thinker, his or her topics of interest, the form of expressing his or her ideas, the direction of research, conclusions, in some cases, one can see some dependence between the author's approach to life, which manifests itself in various domains, and his or her philosophy.Similarly when we take into consideration academic achievements of N. Berdyaev, and, particularly his essential philosophical topics such as freedom and creativity, and to be exact the work as a result of freedom, it is impossible not to notice some kind of connection between the issues raised by the philosopher and his own style of philosophizing, namely the form, the way of expression and his language.This article is an attempt to look at how N. Berdyaev understood freedom, what he expected of the creativity and whether he fulfilled his personal thoughts in his manner of philosophizing.

    In this comprehensive paper, I present the thesis that the clinical biopower-which means biopouvoir according to Michel Foucault-can be countered with the help of artistic ability. In this sense, the psychiatric clinic may turn into a space of inclusion, respect, and true self-unfolding. Following Jean Dubuffet, I give a definition of art brut and analyze some works of German and Austrian outsiders of the 20th century, who succeeded in overcoming life-crises, such as childhood poverty, experiences of war, psychical illness, or social ostracism. I match the biopolitical character of psychiatry clinics against the most recent ideas of art therapy. The remainder of the article is organized in four parts: (1) Introduction: Raw Art, (2) Alterity: Beyond of Normality and Pathology, (3) Talent for Sovereignty, (4) Conclusion: The Between.

    W artykule przedstawiono problem dotyczący psychologii twórczości. Problematyka psychologiczna, obok filozoficznej, w wieku XIX znajdowała się w samym centrum myśli, przenikała wszystkie dziedziny życia. Podstawowym słowem kluczem dla tej dziedziny stało się w romantyzmie pojęcie „dusza” – termin bardzo wieloznaczny, skupiający w sobie wiele różnych znaczeń i semantycznych odcieni. Psychologiczna „dusza” – podobnie jak w filozofii słowa klucze: Bóg, absolut, wieczność, nieskończoność – odnosi się do idei (jakości) nieuchwytnych, w sposób ludzki niedostępnych, wprowadzających na grunt romantycznej poezji pierwiastek „niewyrażalnego”. Z taką właśnie próbą wyrażenia „niewyrażalnego” – zdaniem Autora artykułu – mamy do czynienia w Utworach francuskich Zygmunta Krasińskiego. Obrazy duszy, tkwiące głęboko w tych tekstach, stanowią odważną poetycką próbę eksploracji sfery jakości nieuchwytnych, właśnie „niewyrażalnych”. Przenoszą nas w „uniwersum nadnaturalne, gdzie duch się wciela w kształty wzniosłe lub przeraźliwie zrodzone w nieświadomości, pozwalające nam wniknąć w świat najbardziej irracjonalny, urojony”. Jednakże „dusza” Krasińskiego, jak konstatuje Autor, pozostaje w tych tekstach nie-do-poznana; więcej – powinna pozostać nie-do-poznana. Zaklęta w swym nie-do-poznaniu zaświadcza nie tylko o nowatorstwie i artyzmie fragmentów francuskich, ale także stanowi o istocie poezji romantycznej i poezji w ogóle.
    The article presents the issue of the psychology of creativity. In the 19th century, psychological issues, along with philosophical ones, were at the very center of thought, penetrating all areas of life. The basic key word for this field in Romanticism was the concept of a “soul”–  a very ambiguous term, encompassing many different meanings and semantic properties. The psychological “soul” - similarly to the key words in philosophy: “God,” “absolute,” “eternity,” “infinity”– refers to the idea (quality) that is elusive, inaccessible in a human way, introducing the “inexpressible” element to romantic poetry. This is the attempt to express the “inexpressible” – according to the author of the article – in Zygmunt Krasiński’s "Utwory francuskie" [Eng. French Works]. Images of the soul, deeply embedded in these texts, are a bold poetic attempt to explore the sphere of elusive, essentially “inexpressible”qualities. They take us into the “supernatural universe, where the spirit incarnates sublime shapes or is terribly born in the unconscious, allowing us to penetrate the most irrational and imaginary world [translation].” However, Krasiński’s “soul,” asthe author states, remains unknown in these texts; moreover –  it should remain unrecognized. Enchanted in its non-recognition, it testifies not only to the novelty and artistry of "Utwory francuskie", but also determines the essence of romantic poetry and poetry in general.

    Sens życia Jewgienija Trubieckoja (1863–1920) to jedno z ważniejszych dzieł renesansu religijno-filozoficznego w Rosji. Porusza kwestię wartości ludzkiego życia mimo oczywistości zła, przemocy i upadku moralnego. W tym celu rosyjski myśliciel odwołał się do filozofii wszechjedności i kategorii objawienia, przy czym to drugie rozumiał w sposób szeroki i wąski. W szerokim znaczeniu objawia się nieustannie wyższa sensowność (wszechjedność), dzięki czemu człowiek może poznawać i rozwijać się, natomiast w wąskimznaczeniu objawił się Jezus Chrystus, który w paschalnej tajemnicy odsłonił ludzkości najgłębszy sens życia. Każdy człowiek może przyjąć albo odrzucić treść objawienia. Przyjąć objawiony sens pomaga świadomość kolektywna, doświadczenie wspólnotowe, życie w Kościele, Eucharystia, wzajemna odpowiedzialność nie tylko za braci w wierze, ale także za całe stworzenie. W niniejszym artykule omówiono także kwestie objawienia naturalnego i objawienia w religiach niechrześcijańskich oraz warunków i specyfiki objawienia chrześcijańskiego.
    The Meaning of Life by Yevgeny Trubetskoy (1863–1920) is one of the most important works of the religious-philosophical renaissance in Russia. The book addresses the issue of value of human life despite the evidence of evil, violence and moral decline. In order to achieve his aim the Russian thinker referred to the philosophy of all-unity and the category of revelation. However, he understood the latter category in two ways: broad and narrow. In the broad sense the higher meaning of revelation (all-unity) is constantly revealed to humans,which allows them to cognize and develop. In the narrow sense revelation came from Jesus Christ who has revealed the deepest sense of life by means of His paschal mystery. Every human being has a choice to accept or reject the content of the narrow revelation. Such things as collective consciousness, community-based experience, living within Church, Eucharist, and common responsibility not only for the fellow believers, but also for the whole creation – can help to accept the narrow revelation. The following article discusses also the aspects of natural revelation, revelation in non-Christian religions, conditions andcharacteristics of Christian revelation.
    Sinn des Lebens von Jewgienij Trubieckoj (1863–1920) gehört zu den wichtigsten Werken der religiös-philosophischen Renaissance in Russland. Es berührt die Frage nach dem Wert des menschlichen Wesens trotz der Selbstverständlichkeit des Bösen, der Gewalt und des moralischen Zerfalls. Der russische Denker bedient sich hier der Philosophie der Alleinheit und der Kategorie der Offenbarung, wobei er sowohl auf ein enges, wie auch ein breites Offenbarungsverständnis zurückgreift. In einer breiteren Bedeutung offenbart sich dem Menschen ständig eine höhere Sinnhaftigkeit (Alleinheit), wodurch er erkennen und sich entwickeln kann. In der engeren Bedeutung geht es um die Offenbarung Jesu Christi, der der Menschheit in seinem Paschamysterium den tiefsten Sinn des Lebens enthüllt hat. Jeder Mensch kann den Inhalt der Offenbarung annehmen oder ablehnen. Bei der Annahme des offenbarten Sinnes sind das kollektive Bewusstsein, die kollektive Erfahrung, das Leben in der Kirche, die Eucharistie und die gegenseitige Verantwortung, nicht nur für die Brüder, sondern für die ganze Schöpfung behilflich. Im vorliegenden Artikel wurden auch Fragen der natürlichen Offenbarung sowie der Offenbarung in den nichtchristlichen Religionen sowie die Voraussetzungen der Offenbarung und das Spezifische der christlichen Offenbarung besprochen.
