The article focuses on the problem of rethinking the main assumptions of civic education of children and youth in the context of its contemporary problems. Particular attention, important for pedagogical thought, was focused on the personality of modern man shaped in contemporary conditions.

Gubernia wołogodzka, region Imperium Rosyjskiego (w latach 1796–1917), był wykorzystywany przez rząd carski w XIX – początkach XX wieku, jako miejsce zsyłek politycznych. Pewna liczba uczestników ruchu rewolucyjnego w Królestwie Polskim w XIX wieku została zesłana na tę prowincję. Rosyjska historiografia polskich zesłańców odnosi się głównie do regionów syberyjskich, gdzie wygnańców było znacznie więcej. Istnieją interesujące i szczegółowe opracowania dotyczące polskich zesłańców w sąsiednich guberniach archangielska, wiatska i nowogrodzka. O zesłanych do Wołogdy uczestnikach powstań w Królestwie Polskim powstało kilku wydawnictw lokalnych naukowców (Бонфельд, Голикова и др.): o wysokiej rangi dowódcach wojskowych powstania listopadowego, o zesłańcach konspiracji Konarskiego i o ponad 80 uczestnikach powstania styczniowego. Na podstawie danych archiwalnych badane są epizody z życia codziennego, dane biograficzne, uogólnienia. Tematami istotnymi badawczo pozostają następujące obszary: szczegółowa analiza biografii, publikacja źródeł archiwalnych, badanie źródeł osobowych: wspomnienia zesłańców i mieszkańców.
Vologda Province, the region of the Russian Empire (1796–1917), was used in the XIX – early XX century by the tsarist government as a place of political exile. A certain number of participants in the revolutionary movement in the Kingdom of Poland in the 19th century was exiled to the province. The Russian historiography of the Polish exile mainly refers to the Siberian regions, where exiles were much larger. There are interesting and detailed studies of Polish exiles in the neighboring Arkhangelsk, Vyatka and Novgorod provinces. Several publications of local researchers (Bonfeld, Golikova, etc.) about the exiled Poles in Vologda from the Kingdom of Poland have been made: about high-ranking commanders of the November uprising, about exiles after Konarsky case and more than 80 participants of the January uprising. On the basis of archival data, episodes of everyday life, biographical data, generalizations are studied. The topic remains relevant for research in the following areas: detailed analysis of biographies, publication of archival sources, study of personal sources: memories of exiles and local residents

Opis:
In the article I present the concept of the legal norm of conduct proposed by Zygmunt Ziembiński, situating it in the context of the structuralist research attitude – a  methodological approach dominant in the Polish theory of law in the period when this key element of Ziembiński’s theory of law was created and shaped (the 1970s and 1980s). I illustrate individual fragments of the presented concept with selected quotations that are representative of the structuralist research approach. In my view, structuralism makes it possible to understand both the overwhelming influence ofZiembiński’s concept of the norm on the Polish legal theory of the second half of the twentieth century, as well as to explain the causes of the controversies that this concept provoked in some representatives of Polish jurisprudence. I also draw attention to the evolution of the concept in question, including the weakening of its structuralist overtones in the last years of the Professor’s scientific work. An example that exemplifies this tendency is the concept of competence norm.
W artykule przedstawiam koncepcję prawnej normy postępowania Zygmunta Ziembińskiego, ukazując ją w kontekście strukturalistycznej postawy badawczej – podejścia metodologicznego dominującego w polskiej teorii prawa w okresie, w którym powstawał i kształtował się ten jeden z najważniejszych elementów teorii prawa Ziembińskiego (lata siedemdziesiąte i osiemdziesiąte XX w.). Poszczególne fragmenty prezentowanej koncepcji obrazuję wybranymi cytatami, reprezentatywnymi dla strukturalistycznego podejścia badawczego. W mojej ocenie strukturalizm pozwala zarówno zrozumieć przemożny wpływ koncepcji normy Ziembińskiego na polską teorię prawa drugiej połowy XX w., jak i wyjaśnić przyczyny kontrowersji, które koncepcja ta wywoływała u niektórych przedstawicieli polskiego prawoznawstwa. W artykule zwracam również uwagę na ewolucję omawianej koncepcji, w tym na osłabienie jej strukturalistycznego wydźwięku w ostatnich latach twórczości naukowej Profesora. Przykładem, na tle którego egzemplifikuję tę tendencję, jest pojęcie normy kompetencyjnej.

Artykuł przedstawia podstawowe problemy dotykające dzisiejszego transportu zbiorowego oraz formułuje wnioski i spostrzeżenia. Obrazuje możliwość podjęcia konkretnych rozwiązań organizacyjnych z wykorzystaniem przewoźnika kolejowego, sprzyjających racjonalnej poprawie funkcjonowania i planowania rozwoju systemu transportowego w aglomeracjach miejskich. Przedstawia perspektywy rozwiązania problemów kongestii transportu zbiorowego, konkretyzuje działania, które powinny zostać podjęte i wskazuje wielkości nakładów finansowych przeznaczonych na ten cel.
Basic problems experienced in the contemporary public transport as well as conclusions and remarks are presented. The paper shows a possibility to introduce specific organizational solutions - involving the railway operator - supporting efficient improvement in functioning and planning the development of transport system in urban agglomerations. It also presents prospective solutions to public transport congestions, crystallizes the actions to be undertaken and indicates financial outlays required for this purpose.

Podejmowanie decyzji w dynamicznie zmieniającym się otoczeniu wymaga od zarządzających operowania nowoczesnymi narzędziami pomiaru dokonań. Posiadanie strategii rozwoju staje się niewystarczające. Istotne jest wykorzystanie rozwijającej się wielopłaszczyznowo operacyjnej i strategicznej rachunkowości zarządczej. Jedną z jej metod jest opracowana przez R. Kaplana i D. Nortona zbilansowana karta wyników. Jest to użyteczne narzędzie do opisywania, wdrażania i realizacji strategii firmy. W celu opracowania zrównoważonej karty wyników konieczne jest stworzenie jasnej wizji i misji oraz spójnych ram strategii organizacji. Państwowe Gospodarstwo Leśne „Lasy Państwowe” jako specyficzna jednostka gospodarcza również potrzebuje narzędzi sprawnego i efektywnego zarządzania. W strategii na lata 2014–2030 Lasy Państwowe zawarły podstawowe założenia i mierniki zbilansowanej karty wyników, które, jak każde narzędzie, wymaga ciągłego monitorowania i udoskonalania. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja propozycji modyfikacji istniejącej koncepcji zrównoważonej karty wyników PGL „Lasy Państwowe”, co wpłynie na poprawę jej przydatności informacyjnej. Zagadnienie zostało omówione w kontekście prospołecznej działalności Lasów Państwowych, osadzonej w warunkach globalizacji i zrównoważonego rozwoju. W artykule jako podstawową metodę badawczą, oprócz studiów literaturowych, zastosowano metodę badań jakościowych na podstawie studium przypadku.
Making decisions in a dynamic environment requires from managers to operate with modern performance measurement tools. Having a development strategy becomes insufficient. It is important to make use of operational and strategic management accounting, developing on many levels. One of its tools is balanced scorecard, developed by R. Kaplan and D. Norton. It is a method of complex, multi-faceted performance measurement in the enterprise. It is a useful tool for describing, implementation and execution of the company’s strategy. In order to develop a balanced scorecard it is necessary to create a clear mission and vision and a coherent framework for organization strategy. State Forests as a specific entity also needs efficient and effective management tools. In its strategy for the years 2014–2030 State Forests included the basic principles and measures of a balanced scorecard, which, like every tool, requires continuous monitoring and improvement. The aim of the article is to present proposals for modification of the existing concept of State Forests’ balanced scorecard, which will improve the usefulness of the information. The issue has been discussed in the context of pro-social activities of State Forests, in the conditions of globalization and sustainable development. The main research method used in the article in addition to literature studies is qualitative re-search based on case study.

The reviewed monograph is the first part of the three-volume series prepared by the Lithuanian linguist Danguolė Mikulėnienė. She has taken on the ambitious task of presenting the genesis, development stages, paradigmatic breakthroughs and achievements of Lithuanian dialectology until the beginning of the twenty-first century. The richly illustrated study contains a detailed discussion of the period preceding the birth of scientific dialectology in Lithuania (from the seventeenth until the mid-nineteenth centuries), and covers in a systematic way conceptual changes in the linguists’ approaches to the issue of determining the extent and classification of Lithuanian dialects at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The advantage of the monograph is the consistent combining of a historiographic approach with a strictly linguistic analysis. The reviewed volume includes commentaries on numerous source materials which document contribution that scientists from various research traditions have made to the discourse of Lithuanian scientific dialectology paving the way for its constant development.
Recenzowana monografia stanowi pierwszą część trylogii przygotowywanej przez litewską lingwistkę Danguolė Mikulėnienė, która postawiła sobie ambitne zadanie przedstawienia genezy, etapów rozwojowych, przełomów i dorobku litewskiej dialektologii aż do początku XXI wieku. Bogato ilustrowane opracowanie zawiera szczegółowe omówienie okresu poprzedzającego narodziny naukowych badań gwaroznawczych na Litwie oraz ukazuje w sposób usystematyzowany przemiany, jakie dokonują się w podejściu do problematyki wyznaczania zasięgu i klasyfikacji gwar litewskich na przełomie XIX i XX wieku. Zaletą monografii jest konsekwentne łączenie ujęcia historiograficznego z analizą stricte lingwistyczną. W pracy zostały przedstawione i skomentowane liczne materiały źródłowe, które dokumentują wkład, jaki wnieśli do dyskursu przyszłej naukowej dialektologii litewskiej uczeni z różnych tradycji badawczych.

Celem badań prezentowanych w artykule było określenie stopnia natężenia wypalenia sił rodzicielskich u rodziców dzieci z zaburzeniami rozwoju oraz analiza związku zachodzącego pomiędzy syndromem wypalenia a wzorcem perspektyw temporalnych. Postawę teoretyczną projektu stanowiła teoria Philipa G. Zimbardo, zgodnie z którą perspektywy temporalne (przeszłościowa, teraźniejsza i przeszłościowa) obejmują zarówno procesy poznawcze, jak i emocjonalne (pozytywne lub negatywne) ustosunkowanie się do zdarzeń i doświadczeń życiowych oraz stanowią zasadniczy regulator optymalnego funkcjonowania człowieka. Badania ujawniły, iż zarówno natężenie syndromu rodzicielskiego wypalenia, jak i profil perspektyw temporalnych oraz związki zachodzące pomiędzy badanymi konstruktami są zróżnicowane w zależności od rodzaju zaburzeń rozwoju dziecka.
The aim of the studies presented in this article was to determine the extent of a burnout of parents with children with developmental disorders and the analysis of the relationship between burnout syndrome and temporal perspectives pattern. The theoretical basis of the project was a theory by Philip Zimbardo, which suggests that temporal perspectives (past, present, and future) influence cognite processes and well as emotional (positive or negative) attitudes towards events and life experiences. They also regulate an optimal human functioning. The studies revealed that both increase in parental burnout syndrome as well as temporal perspective profile and relationships between those are different, depending on the type of children’s disorders.

Pod koniec ubiegłego wieku techniki informatyczne upowszechniły się w działalności turystycznej. Ponad 20 lat temu informatyczna sfera branży turystycznej skupiała się głównie na tworzeniu systemów organizacyjno-biurowych, kierując się zasadą, że informacja turystyczna to niezbędny składnik promocji turystycznej. Dokonując analizy rozwoju informatycznego gospodarstw domowych i przedsiębiorców w Polsce i UE, rozważono perspektywy promocji działalności turystycznej, wskazując konkretnych odbiorców informacji turystycznej. Ukazano wybrane działania ICT i możliwy ich wpływ na tworzenie się nowych aplikacji turystycznych.
At the end of the last century, IT techniques have become popular in tourist activities. At the scientific conference "The role of tourism in the development of the region" (Bytów 1996), the importance of the Internet was postulated. More than 20 years ago, the computerization of the tourism industry concerned only the creation of office systems. Currently, the basic carrier of tourist promotion are commercial IT services and the Internet. Based on the retrospection, the author presents current technical and IT trends in tourism.

The paper discusses issues of taking different perspectives and attributing mental states. The main focus is on the criteria of their adequate ascription. Taking another’s perspective and simulation theory are taken into consideration. The paper considers the results of research on the development of the ability to differentiate perspectives and disorders of this ability in borderline personality disorder. The ability to differentiate one’s own and others’ mental states has been presented as an aspect of social cognition that enables adequate mentalization, by accepting the presence of various perspectives and the possibility of the coexistence of various representations of reality.

Over the past four decades of research on school bullying have produced an extensive body of knowledge about the nature of this phenomenon, its determinants and consequences. Bullying has been examined and explained in individual as well as in contextual terms, and from a wide range of different theories and research methods. In the literature, it can be found some attempts to sort out scientific approaches to bullying.In this article, which should be treated as review-style essay, I will present two complementary approaches to analyzing school bullying, namely (1) person-oriented analytical approach which focuses on analyzing of individual traits and characteristics of children involved in school bullying, and (2) processual analytical approach that emphasizes the processes involved. These approaches were distinguished based on the review of Polish and foreign literature on school bullying.

Since the Declaration of Salamanca and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, we have moved to an inclusive paradigm with regard to school. Mainstream schooling has become the rule. Thus, teachers in regular classes must work with all students, including those with special educational needs. It is not easy; many teachers face dilemmas in accommodating all types of students in the same classroom. This conceptual paper proposes a framework based on Mezirow’s transformative learning for understanding the transformations in teacher pedagogy needed to work in an inclusive school. It can be used as a basis for developing training mechanisms to support teachers in their transformation to work in an inclusive school.

The time perspective has been the subject of various studies aimed at understanding human behavior.Our goal was to extend the growing literature in this field by studying the role of time perspectives in shaping online behavior among digital natives. 569 digital natives at the tertiary education level completed self-report forms assessing two major processes: time perspectives and online behavior. Adverse time-perspective biases were found to be related to rude, harsh, and distrustful online behavior. Present-oriented people displayed a high amount of online activity, while future-oriented ones showed a more functional approach to Internet use. Pastpositive and past-negative orientations occurred concomitantly with different levels of affability online. We discuss the findings and their limitations, along with suggestions for future research in this field. As it is possible to modify time perspectives, this study may contribute to the development of methods aimed at preventing undesirable online behavior and improving individuals’ well-being.

Participation, a highly debated topic, is understood as a right to self-determination and a right to be involved in the decision-making in matters that concern one’s life. Also, in the field of Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) in Germany, children’s participation plays an important role, embedded in the legislation. However, research shows that children still do not participate in decisions in their daily life in childcare facilities. This problem has been linked to the negative attitudes of early childhood educators, their fear of losing control, sharing power with children, or even lack of knowledge. The recent qualitative case study, examining educators’ participation perspectives by applying semi-structured interviews and a focus group, demonstrated that educators understand what participation means differently and view it as a concept rather than a right. However, they perceive it as having enormous importance and are keen to embrace it. Their attitudes depend significantly on their experiences and the behavioural scripts they internalized. Another factor influencing children’s participation is the organizational culture of a childcare facility. It is correlated with the quality of care in childcare settings. To this end, studying and ensuring positive work relationships proves to be necessary. Applying collaborative leadership and democratic, participatory structures is essential to children and adults alike. A genuinely respectful environment designed to promote self-determination, deep reflection, ongoing training, and support are key in realizing children’s right to participation in ECEC.

Principles of law are one of the most significant normative constructs, becoming, at the same time, the popular subject of legal research in both theoretical and dogmatic perspectives. The main concepts, presented in the Polish legal theory as principles-norms and principles-postulates or as principles in descriptive and normative senses, function in the dogmatic circulation, dealing with their axiological provenience and normative content as well as their functions in the legal order (in the context of law-making and of application and interpretation of law). 
Zasady prawa są jedną z najistotniejszych konstrukcji normatywnych, będąc tym samym częstym przedmiotem badań nauk prawnych, zarówno w perspektywie teoretycznej, jak i dogmatycznej. Prezentowane w klasycznej polskiej literaturze teoretycznoprawnej w postaci zasad-norm i zasad-postulatów bądź w postaci zasad ujmowanych opisowo i dyrektywalnie, funkcjonują w „obiegu” dogmatycznym, stając się przedmiotem różnorodnych twierdzeń dotyczących ich aksjologicznej i normatywnej istoty oraz funkcji w porządku prawnym (tworzeniu, stosowaniu czy wykładni prawa).
