Auditors perform an important role in each society. Expectations of financial report users and contracting parties for auditing continuously rise, therefore, in order to satisfy them, auditors need to constantly improve their qualifications and have interdisciplinary knowledge of the enterprise. That is a reason why, besides acquiring technical knowledge and accounting skills, auditors require abilities to perform the roles of a counsellor, a financial analyst, a negotiator and a manager, when necessary. Because of the fact the world aims at globalising the market economy, in which investments and financial transactions cross country borders more and more frequently, auditors need extensive knowledge in order to understand the context in which companies and other organizations operate. More often they deal with investigating groups of companies of international reach, therefore their knowledge and qualifications should be of an international nature as well. Polish system of audit staff education is based on international solutions regarding acquiring theoretical knowledge and gaining practical skills in the course of the qualification procedure, aiming at obtaining rights of an auditor. The purpose of this article is to show the impact of regulations of the European Union and the International Education Standards upon Polish system of audit staff training. In order to accomplish this aim, we have utilized research methods of the critical analysis of legal regulations, both domestic and international, analysis of the literature on the subject, and drawing conclusions based on our own observations and experience regarding conducting examinations for prospective candidates for auditors and participating in a mandatory training of auditors.

W pracy analizie poddano zakres implementacji technik realizacji szkolenia i instrumentów oceny jego efektywności w organizacji w zależności od jej wielkości. Badania empiryczne przeprowadzono na reprezentatywnej grupie pracowników przedsiębiorstw z województwa zachodniopomorskiego. Analizy prowadzono, poza ujęciem ogólnym, także w wybranych grupach organizacji wyodrębnionych ze względu na ich wielkość. Prowadzone analizy empiryczne poprzedzono rozważaniami teoretycznymi, w których przedstawiono materiał teoretyczny z analizowanej dziedziny zawarty w literaturze przedmiotu. Praca ma zatem charakter teoretyczno-empiryczny.
Differences in range of implementation of tools of conducting training and evaluating training efficiency in dependence on organization’s size are the subject of this work. Empirical researches were conducted on the representative group of workers of enterprises from the West-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The analyses were conducted beyond general approach also in selected groups of enterprises (selected by organization’s size). Conducted empirical analyses were preceded with theoretical consideration where theoretical material considering analyzed field included in literature of subject were presented. Therefore the work is of theoretical and empirical nature.

The article presents the results of study concern educational services market (in Silesia voivodeship) provide in informal learning system for coal mines. The article illustrates functioning of the market, as regards e.g.: organizational solutions, learning quality, level of satisfy demand (current/future) and flexibility in responding on appearing training needs.

Opis:
The disclosure of classified information can contribute to causing threat to national security. In order to prevent such situations in the Ministry of National Defense a specialized, full-time organizational units called protection sections have been appointed. Protection sections consists of secret offices which are responsible for recording, storage, circulation, publishing and archiving of classified information. The article also highlights the key threats to classified information, and discusses the organization of secret offices in the Ministry of National Defense. The idea of “instruments of protection” have been presented to ensure the safety for both offices and for the information which is being processed.

Na bezpieczny transport lotniczy oraz obsługę substancji i przedmiotów niebezpiecznych wpływa między innymi szkolenie personelu obsługującego towary niebezpieczne. Za proces akceptacji i kontroli oraz magazynowanie i załadunek materiałów niebezpiecznych zgodnie z przepisami odpowiedzialny jest przewoźnik lub agent cargo. W artykule opisano minimum znajomości określonych działów instrukcji dla danych osób zajmujących się przewozem substancji niebezpiecznych, według standardów Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR). Zwrócono także uwagę, jak na zachowanie zasad bezpieczeństwa w transporcie lotniczym wpływa profesjonalne przeszkolenie personelu obsługującego przesyłki niebezpieczne.
Safe air transport and handling of hazardous substances and objects are affected by training of personnel handling dangerous goods. The carrier or cargo agent is responsible for the acceptation and control process as well as the storage and loading of hazardous materials in accordance with obligatory regulations. The article describes the minimum knowledge of specific sections of the instructions for given persons according to the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), which deal with the transport of hazardous substances. Attention was also paid to the professional training of personnel handling hazardous shipments affecting compliance with safety rules in air transport.

Ignacego Mościckiego, cel strategiczny działalności – nowoczesne technologie chemiczne z wykorzystaniem krajowych surowców dla zapewnienia niezależności gospodarczej kraju – był realizowany konsekwentnie przez kolejne formy organizacyjne Instytutu: Instytut Badań Naukowych i Technicznych Metan, Chemiczny Instytut Badawczy, Instytut Przemysłu Chemicznego, Główny Instytut Chemiczny i wreszcie Instytut Chemii Przemysłowej im. Prof. Ignacego Mościckiego. Dzisiejsze osiągnięcia IChP dowodzą ciągłości tradycji i wierności koncepcji twórczej służby przemysłowi chemicznemu i gospodarce narodowej.
An outline of the realization of its research mission, the training of specialized personnel for the chemical industry and planning of the economy, as well as publishing activity in the 100-year history of the Industrial Chemistry Research Institute, a successor of the Institute of Technical and Scientific Research Metan has been presented. The strategic goals set up by the founder and patron of the Institute – Professor Ignacy Mościcki, which include the invention of modern chemical technologies with the application of locally available raw materials in order to guarantee economic independence for Poland has been fulfilled consistently under the different organizational changes of the Institute: Institute of Technical and Scientific Research Metan, Chemical Research Institute, Main Chemical Institute and lastly the Prof. Ignacy Mościcki Industrial Chemistry Research Institute (ICRI). The present achievements of ICRI are proof of this continuing tradition and adherence to the concept of a creative service dedicated to the chemical industry and the national economy.

Today, many production companies are struggling with the problem of recruiting well qualified and motivated employees, as well as maintaining them, particularly for production jobs. That is why the effective personnel policy, aimed at ensuring the right people in the right place and at the right time, is one the greatest challenges facing managers. The aim of this paper is to present the model of flexible staff with polyvalent skills as a solution helpful to improve the company’s personnel policy. The functional flexibility must be supported by motivation systems, including remunerating and training ones. The considered issue is based mainly on the conditions of unit and customized production.
