Opis:: The purpose of this paper is to show how two languages which have radically different temporal and aspectual systems express the perfect result value. The starting point of this paper is an example in French language taken from an article of two Genevian researchers on the basis of which the author proves that the perfect result, irrespective of its type, is always expressed with passé composé tense. In the second part discussed are Polish contextual equivalents of the example. Their analysis makes it possible to confirm the thesis that the semantic perfect result is expressed with the Polish Past Perfect and the pragmatic perfect result with the Polish Past Imperfect. The author also formulates several additional conclusions regarding lexical, syntax and interpretative choices.

Opis:: Wspólna historia wojska i cywilnych systemów kształtowania sprawności fizycznej aż do dziś pokazuje, że występuje między nimi swoista koewolucja. Sprawność fizyczna to wartość sama w sobie, a zarazem wartość użyteczna dla wojska. Kryteria tej użyteczności są jednak różne i zmieniają się w czasie. Współcześnie środowisko cywilne jest zwykle krok do przodu, w nim też głównie następuje „rozpoznanie walką”. Ze swej strony wojsko oferuje możliwość zaciągu pod swój sztandar; bywa również odwrotnie, kiedy rynek próbuje zawłaszczyć ten sztandar dla siebie. Sprawność fizyczna oraz dbałość o nią są i powinny być częścią żołnierskiego etosu. Sprawność fizyczna w wojsku to jednak nie wszystko, na bycie żołnierzem składają się też inne czynniki. Użyteczność nie powinna być wartością samą w sobie, z kolei wartość sama w sobie może być użyteczna. Przynajmniej w odniesieniu do sprawności fizycznej w wojsku.
The common history of the army and civilian exercise programs up to this day shows that there is a kind of co-evolution between them. Physical fitness is a value in itself and at the same time is useful to the army. However, the criteria for this utility are different and change over time. Nowadays, the civil market is usually one step ahead of military, doing its own "reckon by fire" in the field physical fitness. On its part, the army offers support and recruit civilians; it is also the opposite when the market tries to appropriate military stuff. Physical fitness and care for it are and should be part of the soldier's ethos. However, it’s not physical fitness who make a soldier. In general, utility should not be a value in itself, and value in itself may be useful. At least with regard to physical fitness in the army.

Opis:: The paper deals with the problem of vortex motion of an incompressible perfect fluid in bounded domains. The research is confined to chosen cases of steady velocity fields within rectangular, circular and elliptic regions with rigid boundaries. The solution to the initial-value problem of the fluid flow for the assumed velocity fields is the primary object of this paper. It is demonstrated that individual particles of the fluid have their own periods of motion and thus, one should be careful in describing such problems by means of discrete methods, especially in the Lagrangian variables. The problem discussed has its origin in numerical analysis of water waves by means of the finite difference or the finite element method.
