A rule stating that we tend to avoid using go and come after the future marker going to appears again and again in many coursebooks and grammars used in English Language Teaching, and has done for decades. This article attempts to show, using empirical evidence from corpora, why the rule is inaccurate, and different ways that this might be established. As the rule under consideration is typically framed as a tendency (like many other pedagogical grammar rules), an additional aim of the work is to outline the kinds of corpus analyses researchers and materials designers can potentially use in order to investigate the question of (claimed) linguistic tendencies. The article concludes by discussing why a rule that is apparently inaccurate nevertheless appears again and again in print, arguing that the existence of a well-established and widely-accepted ‘canon’ of ELT grammar means that such inaccuracies in descriptions of grammar can be easily perpetuated

Opis:
Aim. The aim of the research is focused on the analysis and determination of changes and priorities in the Ukrainian artistic and design discourse of education as inspired by the military actions in Ukraine in 2022–2023. Concept. The research materials are inspired by the basic concept of practical application of motivational aspects in modern design education. The outlined areas of research are aimed at refuting the stereotype of negative intentions in the subconscious perception of full-scale military operations. Results. The results of the dynamics of formal and conceptual priorities in the design of students in the conditions of the liberation war in Ukraine were obtained. Monitoring data is an essential basis for improving innovative, and most importantly, creative and variable pedagogical practice, which makes it possible to comprehensively implement it in the authoritative administrative state hierarchy. Conclusion. The results of the monitoring demonstrated the experience of the creative potential of the students of the Department of Design and Architecture Fundamentals (DOA) in difficult social and political conditions, which is directed to the positive aspects of the future victory. Practical application. The study will contribute to the improvement of the structural and logical schemes of educational and professional programs Environmental Design in the system of art and design education. A variable approach will contribute to the establishment of landmarks of cultural identity, the implementation of new creative ideas for the development of modern Ukrainian design for the purposes of state building.

The problem discussed in the article is related to the attitude to the pedagogical tradition born in conditions of the formation and development of the totalitarian society. Its reconstruction and analysis is organized by denoting this experience in the form of text. In this context the relation to tradition gains an intertextual character, constructed by it being referred to the context of modernity. The key function of such contextualisaion is the so-called re-symbolization. Three strategies of resymbolization are described, namely “iconoclastic”, “iconomanic”, and “social-constructionistic”. They all, to some extent, are present in the pedagogical discourse of the post-socialist communities. The former two strategies are oriented at the “truth” of the tradition, whereas the third strategy considers is as an interpretive and practical category. Analyzed is the structural-functional organization of the three strategies of resymbolization.

The article is devoted to the problem of specification of approaches to the design and implementation of electronic educational courses in conditions of continuously and dynamically changing digital information and learning environment of the modern university. Based on the results of the content analysis of the digital infrastructure and regulatory documentation of the Siberian Federal University and the discursive analysis of the leading trends in the field of digital education, necessary conditions for a successful professional pedagogical activity are described. On the basis of smart education principles, possible solutions to the problems of teaching at university, such as personification of teaching, project-oriented courses and initiating the launch of mechanisms for students’ informal self-education are synthesized and justified.
