Opis:: Metoda interdyscyplinarna ma dzisiaj szerokie zastosowanie w humanistyce ukraińskiej, w tym także dla odczytania dzieł literatury pięknej, co pozwala na głębszą, "nielinearną" refleksję. Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia próbę analizy powieści Panasa Myrnego Хіба ревуть воли, як ясла повні? Analiza została przeprowadzona przez pryzmat filozoficzno-kulturowego konceptu Dom — Pole — Świątynia (topos "Dom"). W praktyce badawczej koncept ten został wykorzystany po raz pierwszy przez S. Krymskiego dla przedstawienia realiów kultury narodowej.
Contemporary Ukrainian scholarship in the humanities taps into the interdisciplinary research methodology which can likewise be used for literary works interpreting. This allows a different perception and a deeper non-linear understanding of the works. This paper is an attempt to analyze Panas Myrnyi’s novel Does an Ox Bellow when it has Fodder? through the prism of a philosophical and cultural concept Home — Field — Temple (topos “Home”), which was fi rst used in his research by S. Krymskyi to elucidate the reality of a national culture.

Opis:: В статье на фольклорно-этнографичеком материале, главным образом зафиксированном в 1990-е – 2018 гг. в Брестском Полесье, рассматриваются отношения крестьян к корове, основания и механизмы ее семиотизации, особенности мифопоэтической трактовки образов коровы (тельца) в различных видах и жанрах белорусской традиционной духовной культуры. Показано, что «коровье-бычий код», возникший на основе мифологической мотивации, покрывает обширное поле явлений крестьянской духовной и материальной культуры, предметов крестьянского быта, отчетливо просматривается в ритуальной терминологиии и обрядовых и необрядовых текстах фольклора.
W artykule podjęto rozważania na temat stosunku chłopów do krów, podstaw i mechanizmów jego semiotyzacji oraz mitopoetycznej interpretacji wizerunków krowy (cielaka) w różnych typach i gatunkach tradycyjnej białoruskiej kultury duchowej. Autorka analizuje materiał folklorystyczny i etnograficzny zarejestrowany w latach 1990–2018 na Polesiu Brzeskim. Wykazano, że powstały na gruncie motywacji mitologicznej „kod krowy-byka” obejmuje rozległy obszar zjawisk kultury duchowej i materialnej chłopów, przedmiotów związanych z życiem chłopskim, i jest odnotowywany w terminologii związanej z rytuałami, a także w obrzędowych i nieobrzędowych tekstach folklorystycznych
This article discusses peasants’ attitude to cows, the foundations and mechanisms of this attitude’s semiotization, and the mythological and poetic interpretations of the images of the cow (and of the calf) in various types and genres of Belarusian traditional spiritual culture. Inna Shved examines folkloric and ethnographic material recorded in the Brest Polesie region in the period 1990–2018. She identifies and describes the “cow-bull code”, which covers a wide range of phenomena in the spiritual and material culture of peasants and relates to objects of peasant life. Deriving its origin from mythology, this code is reflected in ritual terminology and in folklore texts used in rituals and otherwise.

Opis:: A donkey is an animal that can be found in linguistic, literary, and cultural-anthropological works. However, this work analyses the symbolism of the animals that appear in the Chakavian poetry by Zvane Črnja, Croatian poet, opinion journalist and cultural historian. It specifically focuses on the character of donkey (or tovar) in that poetry, as well as the poetic effect of the place that the motif or the subject of donkey occupies in Črnja’s poems. In his poetry, the donkey represents, at least toan extent, a signum or a symbol of the rebellion of those who are oppressed, invisible or marginalized due to their language, their culture or their social status. It is a symbol of all of those who perceive their marginalism as the cause for uprising or newly awakened self-awareness, and which, in part, fits into the pattern of the Mediterranean cultural codex, due to its humoristic aspect.

Opis:: Multiple shoots of Telekia speciosa were cultivated on MS medium containing 4.44 µM BAP and 0.54 µM NAA, solidified with agar. After eight weeks of culture the shoots were harvested and extracted with methanol. From the methanol extract one pseudoguaianolide – 2,3-dihydroaromaticin and three thymol derivatives: 8-hydroxy-9,10-diisobutyryloxythymol, 10-isobutyryloxy-8,9-epoxythymyl isobutyrate and 10-(2-methylbutyryloxy)-8,9-epoxythymyl isobutyrate were isolated as major secondary metabolites. Moreover, the shoots produced megastigmane and monoterpene glucosides, which were isolated for the first time from the species. The content of 2,3-dihydroaromaticin in the shoot culture was similar to that found in the intact plant, whereas yields of the three thymol derivatives were higher from multiple shoots than from the plants grown in the open field.

Opis:: Scattering from the very simple ring graph is shown to display several basic features which underlie the complex (chaotic) phenomena observed in scattering from more complex graphs. In particular we demonstrate the appearance of arbitrarily narrow resonances - the "topological resonances" which are directly linked to the existence of cycles. We use the ring graph to study the response of such resonances to perturbations induced by a time-dependent random noise.

Opis:: We focus on a certain aspect of trial wave function approach in the fractional quantum Hall effect. We analyze the role of partition orderings and discuss the possible numerical search for the partition determining the subspace of the Hilbert space containing a particular quantum Hall wave function. This research is inspired by analogical properties of certain polynomials which are the object of interest of the symmetric function theory, especially the Jack polynomials (related to the so-called "Jack states"). Presented method may be used in the search of candidate trial wave functions. We also justify (in certain cases) diagonalization of the Coulomb repulsion Hamiltonian restricted to certain subspaces. We focus on the states at filling factor ν=1/3 in the lowest and second Landau level.

Opis:: In this note we explain the method how to find the resonance condition on quantum graphs, which is called pseudo-orbit expansion. In three examples with standard coupling we show in detail how to obtain the resonance condition. We focus on non-Weyl graphs, i.e. the graphs which have fewer resonances than expected. For these graphs we explain benefits of the method of "deleting edges" for simplifying the graph.

Opis:: Bethe Ansatz is the famous method of determination of eigenstates and eigenenergies for a wide range of quantum problems, e.g. for the Heisenberg XXX s=1/2 model. The Bethe equations applied to solve the problem of N nodes and r overturned spins on a magnetic chain are labeled by sets of winding numbers ${n_i}$, however the condition for admissible sets give an overcomplete number of results. On the other hand, combinatorial objects, so called "paths", give the exact number of eigenvectors for the problem described by (N,r) values. The paper presents the method of determining the set of winding numbers from the appropriate path for the sector of r=2 spin deviations.

Opis:: In this paper, the influence of vanadium doping on optical and electrical properties of titanium dioxide thin films has been discussed. The (Ti-V)Ox thin films was deposited on silicon and Corning glass substrates using high energy reactive magnetron sputtering process. Measurements performed with the aid of x-ray diffraction revealed, that deposited thin film was composed of nanocrystalline mixture of TiO2-anatase, V2O3 and β-V2O5 phases. The amount of vanadium in the thin film, estimated on the basis of energy dispersive spectroscopy measurement, was equal to 3 at. %. Optical properties were evaluated based on transmission and reflection measurements. (Ti-V)Ox thin film was well transparent and the absorption edge was shifted by only 11 nm towards longer wavelengths in comparison to undoped TiO2. Electrical measurements revealed, that investigated thin film was transparent oxide semiconductors with n-type electrical conduction and resistivity of about 2.7 · 105 Ωcm at room temperature. Additionally, measured I-V characteristics of TOS-Si heterostructure were nonlinear and asymmetrical.

Opis:: A family of one-dimensional finite linear cellular automata with reflective boundary condition over the field $Z_p$ is defined. The generalizations are the radius and the field that states take values. Here, we establish a connection between reversibility of cellular automata and the rule matrix of the cellular automata with radius three. Also, we prove that the reverse CA of this family again falls into this family.

Opis:: Current diagnostics of patients' condition as well as assumed effects of the used medical diagnostic methods are a significant part of every medical treatment. This article discusses peasants’ attitude to cows, the foundations and mechanisms of this attitude’s semiotization, and the mythological and poetic interpretations of the images of the cow (and of the calf) in various types and genres of Belarusian traditional spiritual culture. Opis:: Discussed here are the effects of basics graph transformations on the spectra of associated quantum graphs. In particular it is shown that under an edge switch the spectrum of the transformed Schrödinger operator is interlaced with that of the original one. By implication, under edge swap the spectra before and after the transformation, denoted by {Eₙ}^{∞}ₙ₌₁ and {Ẽₙ}^{∞}ₙ₌₁ correspondingly, are level-2 interlaced, so that Eₙ-₂ ≤ Ẽₙ ≤ Eₙ₊₂. The proofs are guided by considerations of the quantum graphs' discrete analogs.

Opis:: We present detailed calculations of commutators of the Jastrow factor and certain differential operators useful in the fractional quantum Hall effect. In particular, we analyze action of the angular momentum operators projected from the Haldane sphere on an arbitrary composite fermions state. Examined L⁺ and L¯ momentum operators and following uniformity condition had proven to be useful in the search for candidates for quantum Hall ground states among many families of polynomials including the Jack polynomials.
