Opis:
Black mollies are one of the most popular ornamental fishes in the aquarium hobby. Most People have had at one time at least one of these gentle and attractive fishes in their fish tank. They are one of the most popular feeder fishes due to high growth rate, birth size, reproduction and brood number. During fish development, supply of suitable food during culture period is the most vital factor to achieve good growth ratio. Present study aims at unfolding the feeding preference of Black Molly for which eggs of Pomfret, Carp and Tenualosa sp. and semolina and poppy seeds were provided as food of animal and plant sources respectively. It was observed that food with more protein contents (i.e. food from animal sources) were mostly preferred by Black Molly. It is concluded that food from animal sources could be beneficial to get good growth and survival of Black Molly.

CV. Agung Tosakin
Ornamental Freshwater Fish
Opis:
The research aims to analyze the feasibility of Bandung-based CV. Agung Tosakin Group business, based on SWOT, R/C ratio BEP, and Period Payback analyses, and to analyze the sensitivity of the ornamental freshwater fish business as interpreted from the NPV value. The research was conducted from April 2018 to April 2019 at CV Agung Tosakin. The research method used was a case study with a descriptive quantitative analysis. The data used were primary and secondary data. Quantitative analysis was used in calculating Revenue Cost Ratio (R / C), Break Event Point (BEP), and Payback Period (PP). The analytical instrument used was the SWOT analysis. In terms of financial aspects, the expansion of CV. Agung Tosakin’s freshwater fish business is feasible, with a production BEP value of 53,199 fishes, at the price of Rp 3,500 per fish. From the results of the calculation of sensitivity analysis by using a switching value, it is obtained that tolerable technical aspects and survival rate of freshwater fish is 48.98 percent; the limit of the decreases in market demands for the business to be still feasible is 24.82 percent; and the limit of the increases in raw material costs for the business to be still feasible is 51.55 percent.

This paper describes the case of an unsuccessful introduction of the common pleco Hypostomus plecostomus (Linnaeus, 1758) (Loricariidae) in an artificial water reservoir near Warsaw Citadel, which is the second instance described for representatives of American loricariid fish species in Poland. A landed individual has been labelled and presented in the photographs. The finding is discussed with available polish inland waters data and authors observations.

introduction
ornamental tropical fish
Opis:
Ornamental tropical fish are kept in home aquaria for many decades. It is often that fish that grown too big or are unwanted by the owner are released into natural environment. Most tropical fish have zero chance for survival in polish natural water bodies not only through the winter, but in many cases even through summer months. There are several reports of non-native fauna species in our waters. Successful introductions took places in few artificial canals with thermally polluted waters namely pumpkinseed Lepomis gibbosus (Linnaeus, 1758) in warm canal of Odra river, dramatically changing local ecosystems. Object of this paper is Silver arowana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum) caught in hand aquarium net in Powsinkowskie Lake. The lake is one of the most important water reservoir in most urbanized part of Poland – its capital Warsaw. Because of its location in highly urbanized area it is the reservoir of intense uncontrolled introduction of unwanted fish. Most tropical alien species may not be able to survive in our local waters but may cause severe local ecosystem imbalances for example they may possibly be hosts to pathogenic organism that our fish have no immune system tuned to. Therefore places like Powsinkowskie Lake is a good place for scientist to perform periodic inventory to determine the species composition, fish numbers and condition.
