Opis:: Focusing on the first couple of verses in Genesis (Gen 1–2:4), one can discover its amazingly performative character. The Word of God is creative and has effective power; it can be subject to the analysis of performative utterances by Austin, which seems to stress its significant character. Reading this text in light of deconstruction theory by Derrida leads us onto the path of fully performative interpretation of culture texts. Of course it is just an attempt, which is a little far-fetched but it still remains interesting and scientifically stimulating.

Opis:: Rdz 1,1–2,3 to perykopa traktowana zwykle jako tekst jednorodny literacko, przypisywany w całości autorom kapłańskim (P). Jako taka łączona jest też z – istniejącym początkowo niezależnie – dokumentem P (tzw. Grundschrift-P) i uznawana za jego tekst programowy. Współczesne analizy krytycznoliterackie tego tekstu pozwalają jednak dostrzec w nim wiele niekonsekwencji i w związku z tym doszukiwać się w nim trzeba co najmniej trzech etapów wzrostu literackiego.
Gen 1:1–2:3 is a pericope usually treated as a uniform literary text, entirely assigned to priestly authors (P). As such, it is also combined with the – initially independently existing – document P (so-called Grundschrift-P) and considered as its programming text. Contemporary literary criticism of this text, however, allows us to see many inconsistencies in it and, therefore, it is necessary to look for at least three stages of literary growth.
Gen 1: 1–2: 3 ist eine Perikope, die normalerweise als einheitlicher literarischer Text behandelt wird und vollständig priesterlichen Autoren zugeordnet ist (P). Als solches wird es auch mit dem - zunächst eigenständig existierenden - Dokument P (der sogenannten Grundschrift-P) kombiniert und als dessen Programmtext betrachtet. Zeitgenössische kritisch-literarische Analysen dieses Textes lassen uns jedoch viele Ungereimtheiten darin erkennen, und deshalb müssen wir in ihm nach mindestens drei Stadien des literarischen Wachstums suchen.
