    Artykuł podejmuje problematykę wpływu Internetu na wychowanie osoby ludzkiej na przykładzie Katolickiej Szkoły Podstawowej im. Piotra Dunina w Chojnicach. W celu prześledzenia tej proble-matyki zastosowano empiryczne badanie, określające stopień bezpiecznego korzystania z Internetu i mediów społecznościowych przez uczniów placówki, jego możliwy wpływ na wychowanie oraz sprawdzenie, czy szkoła realizuje koncepcję pracy ukierunkowaną na rozwój osobowy uczniów. Badanie pokazało, że ilość spędzanego czasu przy komputerze ma wpływ na kształtowanie się procesu wychowawczego. Świadomi są tego rodzice i nauczyciele, podejmujący odpowiednie kroki, zgodnie z programem wychowawczo-profilaktycznym szkoły. Choć ilość czasu spędzanego w sieci przez uczniów tej szkoły nie jest zatrważająca, środowisko rodzicielskie i szkolne podejmuje odpowiednie działania mające na celu kontrolę i ograniczenie stosowania Internetu jako środka burzącego równowagę personalistycznego wychowania.
    This article discusses how the Internet influences a person’s upbringing. It is based on a study carried out at the Piotr Dunin Catholic Primary School in Chojnice. The study investigated how safely students use the Internet and social media, the potential impact on upbringing and whether the school carries out work aimed at the personal development of students. The study showed that the amount of time spent at the computer does affect the pedagogical process. Parents and teachers are aware of this and they take appropriate steps in harmony with the school’s educational and preventive program. Although the amount of time students from this school spend online is not alarming, the parents and the school take appropriate measures to control and limit the use of the Internet as it is an instrument that disturbs personalistic upbringing.

    Toys with integrated technology are not a new thing. We are familiar with talking dolls or remote control cars. However, the interactive toys connected to the internet, which has appeared in recent years, and which are the natural consequence of the development of the internet of things, may bring a revolution to the world of children. Following article is the result of the research project „Internet of Toys a support or a threat to child’s development?” aimed at verifying the readiness to introduce digital toys as well astesting what is the level of security associated with the smart connected toys usage. A mixed methods research: pilot qualitative study in the form of interviews concerning various attitudes and practices relating to the use of digital devices, in particular connected smart toys, together with a quantitative study, gave an overview on the smart toys popularisation and the level of knowledge about their safety. Moreover, tests over selected products from the viewpoint of cyber threats and precautions implemented bythe vendor made it possible to come up with safety recommendations for future or present smart connected toys users. Communicative companions may bring not only fun and education, but also a dose of threats. What happens to the data collected by the toys, how easy it is to reach unauthorised access to the device and who potentially may come into these data possession? Last but not least this article tries to answer the questions on what consequences might bring to children social development, permanent parental supervision,restrictions of children’s privacyand the possibility that digital toys might become a replacement of a real participation in the child’s life.

    Ciężar zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa publicznego leży na wielu wyspecjalizowanych instytucjach. W Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej funkcję tę realizują w szczególności: Policja, Straż Graniczna, Agencja Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego, Służba Ochrony Państwa, Żandarmeria Wojskowa, straże miejskie (gminne). Przyjmując, że dążenie do zrozumienia prawdy i przekazywanie mądrości z pokolenia na pokolenie jest szczególnie wzniosłą działalnością człowieka oraz dostrzegając wielką rolę nauki w tworzeniu cywilizacji, określa się dogmaty funkcjonowania szkolnictwa wyższego oraz prowadzenia działalności naukowej. Na skutek tego uczelnie oraz inne instytucje badawcze przeprowadzają misję o szczególnym znaczeniu dla państwa, windują jednocześnie niekwestionowany wkład w oryginalność gospodarki oraz przyczyniają się do rozwoju kultury, a dodatkowo współkształtują kanony obowiązujące w życiu publicznym. Misją niniejszej publikacji jest aproksymacja czytelnikowi występujących teorii i definicji dotyczących potrzeby szkolenia online w zakresie bezpieczeństwa publicznego.
    The duty of ensuring the public safety lies on many specialized institutions. In the Republic of Poland this function, in particular, is fulfilled by the following institutions: Police, Border Guard, the Internal Security Agency, State Security Services, Military Police , municipal guards (commune). Assuming that the aspiration to find the truth and to hand the knowledge down from generation to generation is the particularly important human activity and noticing the fundamental .role of science in creating civilizations, the principles of higher education and scientific activity are determined. Because of that, the universities and other research institutions carry out the mission of the particular importance for the state. They also have the indisputable contribution to the development of culture and innovation of the economy, as well as they are co-shaping the standards being applicable in the public life. The intention of the paper is to introduce the theories and definitions dealing with the necessary online training concerning the public safety.

    Opis:
    The aim of the article is to compare selected Internet guides for teachers and parents. The results of a comparative analysis made by the authors are as follows: institutional senders prevail in terms of a category of a guide’s sender; a creation of a reality shared by its sender and receiver takes place in the guides; the language of the guides is used mainly in the informative and persuasive functions; there is a clear tendency to exaggerate threats posed by the participation in the digital world at the cost of recognizing opportunities for development. The authors of the article conclude with the statement that the discourse of the analysed guides supports traditional approach to perceiving and upbringing of children and young people.

    Customers are more and more deciding to use various types of services via Internet. They make very often different types of purchases. E-commerce is becoming more and more popular and developed. Unfortunately, according to customers, online shopping is not free from problems. Customers are afraid that the ordered goods will not be sent to them, will not meet their expectations, or will be destroyed during transport. An important aspect is also the payment method for this type of shopping. Customers often prefer to pay more to use the option of payment on delivery to avoid losing money if the ordered goods do not be delivered to them. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the safety of services offered via Internet. In the research the customers of different e-shops expressed their opinion on problems that may affect the safety of the offered services. Thanks to the research, it was possible to identify risk areas in accordance with the opinion of customers.

    Opis:
    Cutting force sensors and neural networks have been used for the occupational safety of the drilling process. The drill conditions have been online classified into 3 categories: safe, caution, and danger. This approach can change the drill just before its failure. The inputs to neural networks include drill size, feed rate, spindle speed, and features that were extracted from drilling force measure-ments. The outputs indicate the safety states. This detection system can reach a success rate of over 95%. Furthermore, the one misclassification during online tests was a one-step ahead pre-alarm that is acceptable from the safety and quality viewpoint. The developed online detection system is very robust and can be used in very complex manufacturing environments.

Pozwalają na zastosowanie nowoczesnych technik ułatwiających i zachęcających do samokształcenia. Uczący się mają praktycznie nieograniczone możliwości pozyskiwania, gromadzenia i przetwarzania informacji. Opracowanie stanowi przegląd najpopularniejszych internetowych źródeł wiedzy z zakresu bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy. Materiał i metody: Materiał pracy zaczerpnięto z przeglądu zasobów internetowych. Zastosowano metodę analizy teoretycznej. Wyniki: Osoby pragnące poszerzać swoją wiedzę z zakresu bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy mają za pośrednictwem Internetu udostępniony szeroki wachlarz narzędzi pomocnych w procesie samokształcenia. Wnioski: Nadążanie za nową cywilizacją jest konieczne dla zaistnienia każdej jednostki, a możliwe tylko dzięki wykorzystaniu nowej formy edukacji, jaką jest kształcenie i samokształcenie na odległość. Edukacja jest kluczowym elementem rozwoju nie tylko jednostek, ale i całej cywilizacji. Aby każdy mógł z niej skorzystać potrzebne jest wdrażanie nowych systemów nauczania i propagowanie kształcenia przez całe życie. W tym celu należy włączyć do programów nauczania zajęcia umożliwiające nabywanie umiejętności posługiwania się nowoczesnymi środkami przekazu informacji.
    Introduction and aims: Modern technologies and information media opens up a number of learners are not listed until recently capabilities. They allow the use of modern techniques to facilitate and encourage self-education. Learners have virtually unlimited possibilities of acquiring, collecting and processing information. Develop an overview of the most popular online sources of knowledge in the field of occupational health and safety. Material and methods: The material f the paper has been taken from the review of online resources. The method of theoretical analysis has been used in the article. Results: Those wishing to expand their knowledge of health and safety have available via the Internet a wide range of tools to assist in the process of self-education. Conclusions: Keeping up with new civilization is necessary for the existence of each individual, and only possible through the use of new forms of education, which is education and self-education at a distance. Education is a key element of development not only individuals, but whole civilizations. So that everyone can use it is necessary to implement new systems of education and promotion of lifelong learning. For this purpose should be included in the curriculum be made to allow the acquisition of skills in using modern means of communication.

    Purpose: Digital Economy development is influenced by many factors, including the users' acceptance of the technology. The interesting group of users are technologically advanced and may shape the technology's use and enhance its development. The purpose of the study is to explore the way customers are present on the Internet, and their attitudes to ethics and responsibility in the virtual environment. Design/methodology/approach: The study was conducted on a representative group of 1002 adult Internet users from Poland. The CAVI method on the research consumer panel was used. The authors empirically examine the developed research hypotheses using statistical tests. Findings: The study results show that advanced technology users have a more conscious approach to their presence on the Internet. Technology advanced users are familiarised with the tools and applications that may supper them with everyday activities and ease their professional duties. They are also more concerned about ethical and safety issues. At the same time, as consumers of technology, they are ready to disclose personal data if some benefits are seen. Originality/value: Research results support the development of understanding online activities of Internet users. They indicate some crucial points for a technology provider in designing and improving new tools and applications. Technology advanced users as testers can spread the technology appliances and support their acceptance if they find them ethical and safe. It leads to the development of the digital economy and benefits the whole society.

Zaprezentowano w tekście kwestie techniczne stanowiące zagrożenia dla bezpiecznego korzystania z sieci, a następnie omówiono zagrożenia dla dzieci i młodzieży korzystających z nowoczesnych technologii z dostępem do Internetu. W artykule szczegółowo scharakteryzowano takie zagrożenia jak np. cyberbullying, cyberseks, grooming, czy sexting. Wskazano sposoby przeciwdziałania i zwalczania cyberzagrożeń a poprzez to budowanie bezpieczeństwa w sieci.
    The article discusses the current and important issue of safe behavior on the Internet and online threats. The author successively presents technical issues that pose a threat to safe use of the network, and then discusses the risks for children and young people using modern technologies with access to the Internet. The article describes in detail such threats as e.g. cyberbullying, cybersex, grooming or sexting. In conclusion, the author indicates ways to prevent and combat cyber threats and thus build security in the network.

    W artykule przybliżono problem konieczności ochrony prywatności młodzieży w internecie, zwłaszcza w zakresie używania mediów społecznościowych. Prowadzone przez „cyfrowych tubylców” życie wirtualne bardzo często pozbawione jest odpowiedniej refleksji na temat możliwych skutków zbyt pochopnie odkrywanej sfery prywatnej ich życia. Autor zwraca uwagę na najważniejsze zagrożenia i wyzwania w zakresie bezpieczeństwa w sieci, z jakim spotkać może się młody użytkownik internetu. Podkreśla również konieczność odpowiedniej edukacji medialnej w tym zakresie.
    The article presents the problem of the need of protection of the privacy of young people on the Internet, particularly with regard to the use of social media. The virtual life of „digital natives” often lacks adequate reflection on the possible effects of the private sphere of their lives being exposed too hastily. The author draws attention to the key threats and challenges of safety on the Web, which can be met by the young Internet user. The need for appropriate media education in this field is also emphasized.
