Opis:
In this paper we consider the problem of anomaly detection over time series metrics data took from one of corporate grade mail service cluster. We propose the algorithm based on one-sided median concept and present some results of experiments showing impact of parameters settings on algorithm performance. In addition we present short description of classes of anomalies discovered in monitored system. Proposed one-sided median based algorithm shows great robustness and good detection rate and can be considered as possible simple production ready solution.

Opis:
Due to the long period of service degradation, bridge structures require periodic technical inspections and assessment of the current load capacity. Since the 1970s, this assessment has been carried out according to the Fitness for Purpose (PUK) criterion. From 2008, the PUK criterion has been replaced with the recommendations of the European Convention on Steel Structures (ECCS). As part of these recommendations, the authors decided to explain the previously obtained unrealistic values of the fatigue class Δσϲ of the bridge butt joints covered with one-sided rhomb-shaped cover plates. The computational analysis performed with the FEM method gave excellent results which are briefly presented in the article.

Artykuł zawiera analizę oraz prezentację przykładów wybranych narzędzi komunikacyjnych, które wykorzystuje się w przedsiębiorstwach do budowy i utrzymania relacji z otoczeniem zewnętrznym i wewnętrznym. Omówione zostały także problemy w interpretacji definicji public relations. Autor artykułu przedstawia również korzyści i negatywne konsekwencje wykorzystania nowoczesnych narzędzi w PR.

Przedstawiono analizę wyników pomiarów PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry), których celem było określenie wpływu występowania zabudowy wewnętrznej w postaci płaskiej przegrody na zjawisko formowania się przepływu namywającego stożek osadu. W badaniach wykorzystano model zbiornika kadzi wirowej wykonany z PMMA o średnicy 292 mm. Zbiornik napełniany był jednostronnie dla dwóch wariantów: bez zabudowy wewnętrznej i ze zredukowaną przegrodą płaską zorientowaną pod kątem 45°.
Analysis of the PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) measurements results is presented in the paper. The aim was to determine the influence of new internal structure, design as a flat baffle, on the phenomena of forming the secondary flow accumulating the break cone. The research involved a cycling vat tank model of 292 mm in diameter made of PMMA. The filled onesided tank worked in two variants: without any baffle and with a reduced flat baffle oriented at 45-degree angle

This paper gives a number of central valued algebraic identities involving F and G that are equivalent to the commutativity of R under some suitable assumptions. Artykuł prezentuje najnowsze doświadczenia związane z zabezpieczaniem wyrobisk przyścianowych przeznaczonych do dwukrotnego wykorzystania dla dwóch sąsiednich ścian zawałowych. Główną intencją autorów było pokazanie roli, jaką odgrywają z jednej strony projekt obudowy, a z drugiej jakość jej wykonania. Wskazano na istotne aspekty związane z obudową ŁP oraz jej wzmocnieniami w poszczególnych etapach funkcjonowania wyrobiska, tj. drążenia, przechodzenia ścianą oraz okresem utrzymywania w jednostronnym otoczeniu zrobów. W artykule poruszono m.in. tematykę wykładki, wysokiego kotwienia, iniekcji górotworu oraz nowoczesnych wzmocnień wyrobiska za ścianą. Artykuł obok prezentacji technologii zawiera wiele aspektów praktycznych, wynikających z najnowszych doświadczeń, które w sposób decydujący wpływają na stateczność wyrobisk przyścianowych wykorzystywanych dwukrotnie. Przedstawiono dwa przykłady wyrobisk utrzymywanych za ścianą w skrajnie różnych warunkach, tj. pokłady cienkie i grube, poziome i nachylone, górotwór suchy i zawodniony. Prezentowane doświadczenia oparte są na wdrożeniach zrealizowanych w LW Bogdanka oraz PG Silesia. Artykuł zawiera także cenne uwagi w odniesieniu do zagrożeń naturalnych i ich wpływie na wybór technologii utrzymywania wyrobiska w jednostronnym otoczeniu zrobów. Artykuł stanowi podsumowanie kilkunastu lat prac badawczych i wdrożeniowych, a jednocześnie jest próbą uporządkowania tych doświadczeń i przekazania służbom kopalnianym tego, co jest najistotniejsze w omawianej technologii.
This article presents the latest experiences related to securing roadways designed for double use for two adjacent longwall caving faces. The main intention of the authors was to show the essense of support design on the one hand and the quality of its performance on the other. Significant aspects related to the steel arch yielding support and its reinforcements during the various stages of functioning of roadway, i.e. driving, advan cing of longwall face and the reinforcement period retention in one-sided surroundings of goaf were showed. In the article the issues of lining, long bolting, injection of rock mass and modern reinforcement of the roadways behind longwall face were raised. The article aside from the presentation of the technology contains many practical aspects, resulting from the latest experience, which in decisively manner influence on the stability of the roadways used twice. Two examples of roadways maintained behind the longwall face under extreme conditions, i.e. thin and thick, horizontal and inclined coal seams, dry and wet rock mass were presented. The presented experiences are based on implementations realized in LW Bogdanka and PG Silesia hard coal mine. The article also contains valuable comments regarding to natural hazards, their influence on the choice of reinforcement technology of roadway in one-sided surroundings of goaf. This article summarizes over a dozen years of research and development work and at the same time it constitutes an attempt to organize these experiences and give the mining services the most important guidelines in the scope of this technology.

The Polish Act on Counteracting the Unfair Use of Superior Bargaining Power in the Trade in Agricultural and Food Products was adopted on 15 December 2016 and entered into force on 12 July 2017. The new legal framework resembles, in some places, the legal rules contained in the 2007 Act on Competition and Consumer Protection, elsewhere resembles the 1993 Act on Combating Unfair Competition. Therefore, the article reviews the new Polish provisions taking into account the previous system including the prohibition of the abuse of a dominant position and the prohibition of unfair competition. This publication is intended to point out the peculiarities that characterize the new provisions. Readers will find here an assessment of recent Polish developments and suggestions for further development of the Polish legal framework in the EU context. In particular, the review critically analyses some solutions of the 2018 EU draft Directive on unfair trading practices in business-to-business relationships in the food supply chain and shows what amendments to the Polish legal framework will be needed, if the Directive is adopted in the current version.
La loi polonaise sur la lutte contre l’utilisation déloyale du pouvoir de négociation supérieure dans le commerce des produits agricoles et alimentaires a été adoptée le 15 décembre 2016 et est entrée en vigueur le 12 juillet 2017. Le nouveau cadre juridique ressemble, à certains endroits, aux règles juridiques contenues dans la loi de 2007 sur la concurrence et la protection des consommateurs, qui ressemble d’ailleurs à la loi de 1993 sur la lutte contre la concurrence déloyale. Par conséquent, l’article examine les nouvelles dispositions polonaises en tenant compte du système précédent, notamment l’interdiction de l’abus de position dominante et l’interdiction de la concurrence déloyale. Cette publication est censée mettre en évidence les particularités qui caractérisent les nouvelles dispositions. Les lecteurs trouveront ici une évaluation des développements récents en Pologne et des suggestions pour le développement du cadre juridique polonais dans le contexte de l’UE. En particulier l’article analyse de manière critique certaines solutions du projet de directive de l’UE de 2018 sur les pratiques commerciales déloyales dans les relations interentreprises au sein de la chaîne d’approvisionnement alimentaire et indique quelles modifications dans le cadre juridique polonais seront nécessaires si la directive soit adoptée dans la version actuelle.

$(s_{jk}: j,k = 0,1,...)$ be a double sequence of real numbers which is summable (C,1,1) to a finite limit. We give necessary and sufficient conditions under which $(s_{jk})$ converges in Pringsheim's sense. These conditions are satisfied if $(s_{jk})$ is slowly decreasing in certain senses defined in this paper. Among other things we deduce the following Tauberian theorem of Landau and Hardy type: If $(s_{jk})$ is summable (C,1,1) to a finite limit and there exist constants $n_1 > 0$ and H such that $jk(s_{jk} - s_{j-1,k} - s_{j-1,k} + s_{j-1,k-1}) ≥ -H$, $j(s_{jk} - s_{j-1, k}) ≥ -H$ and $k(s_{jk} - s_{j,k-1}) ≥ -H$ whenever $j,k > n_1$, then $(s_{jk})$ converges. We always mean convergence in Pringsheim's sense. Opis:
An important factor having a negative impact on the technical condition of aircraft structure elements is the adverse effect of the atmosphere, which causes formation of corrosion in aircraft structures, especially in riveted lap joints. The electric potential difference between the sheet material and the rivet, in the presence of humid air, may cause electrochemical corrosion. The paper presents specimens that imitate the repair on the Mi-24 helicopter with the use of blind rivets in places where solid double-sided rivets could not be used.The aim of the research was to assess the corrosion resistance of lap joints with the use of single-sided and double-sided rivets. The analysis of corrosion resistance was carried out based on accelerated aging tests in a salt spray chamber. The salt chamber tests were aimed at determining the changes taking place in the specimens exposed to the marine environment. In the course of periodic observations changes in the mass of the specimens and in the form of corrosion losses were recorded. These activities were aimed at determining whether the exposure of specimens in the salt chamber causes electrochemical corrosion or pillowing. In addition, the specimens were subjected to static strength tests to assess the effect of corrosion on the strength properties of riveted joints.

For this operator, under the assumption 1/p - 1/q = α - β, we extend the weak type characterization to the case p = q and prove that in the case of equal weights and 1 < p < ∞, weak and strong type are equivalent. If we take α = β we characterize the strong type weights for the operator $M_{α,α}^{+}$ introduced by W. Jurkat and J. Troutman in the study of $C_α$ differentiation of the integral.

Opis:
Celem niniejszej pracy jest porównanie trzech barwników wykorzystanych do barwienia żywicy używanej do utrwalania próbek gleby, pobranych z doświadczenia polowego. Barwienie preparatu miało za zadanie zwiększenie kontrastu pomiędzy fazą stałą gleby a wolnymi porami, co ułatwiłoby detekcję progów binaryzacji. Do barwienia wykorzystano barwnik biały, czarny i fluorescencyjny. Dla uzyskanych obrazów wykonano histogramy przedstawiające liczebność pikseli dla skali szarości. Na podstawie tych danych obliczony został wskaźnik kształtu histogramu przyjmujący wartości w przedziale 0-1. Wyższa wartość wskaźnika wskazuje na możliwości łatwiejszego i dokładniejszego wykonania binaryzacji, co jest istotne przy porównaniu wpływ czynnika trakcyjnego na ugniatanie gleby. Porównując zastosowane pigmenty można stwierdzić, iż białe i czarne zabarwienie żywicy nie spowodowało istotnych zmian w przebiegu histogramu. Natomiast barwnik fluorescencyjny spowodował korzystanie zmianę polegającą na silniejszym zaznaczeniu maksimów histogramu, ich większym oddaleniu oraz wyraźnymi szerokim minimum co w sposób istotny ułatwia binaryzację obrazu struktur glebowych.
The purpose of this study is to compare three dyes used to colour resin applied to strengthen soil samples taken from field experiment. Preparation coloring was aimed to increase contrast between soil solid phase and free pores, which would facilitate decimal-to-binary conversion threshold detection. white black and fluorescent dyes were used for coloring. Histograms showing pixel number for grayness scale were prepared for obtained images. This data provided the basis to compute the histogram shape factor, which value ranged from 0 to 1. Higher index value indicates possibility to execute decimal-to-binary conversion more easily and precisely, which is important w lien comparing traction factor effect on soil kneading.

The paper makes a comparison of the results of the application of two-sided and one-sided versions of the Hodrick-Prescott filter on GDP data concerning 27 EU Member States. Based on the results, the overall finding is that, contrary to its assumed advantages, the one-sided filter does not help overcome endpoint unbiasedness. Quite the opposite, it rather spreads and consolidates the endpoint bias that plagues the two-sided version over the entire filtered data. In addition, regression-based results on the influence of the second, third, and fourth moments of the GDP acceleration rates on the differences between one- sided and two-sided HP trends are presented.

In the paper some known and new extensions of the famous theorem of Filippov (1967) and a theorem of Plis (1965) for differential inclusions are presented. We replace the Lipschitz condition on the set-valued map in the right-hand side by a weaker onesided Lipschitz (OSL), one-sided Kamke (OSK) or a continuity-like condition (CLC). We prove new Filippov-type theorems for singularly perturbed and evolution inclusions with OSL right-hand sides. In the CLC case we obtain two extended theorems, one of which implies directly the relaxation theorem. We obtain also a theorem in Banach spaces for OSK multifunctions. Some applications to exponential formulae are surveyed.
