    Głównym tematem artykułu jest zjawisko udomawiania przestrzeni biurowej, a mianowicie nowej tendencji projektowej polegającej na wprowadzaniu do współczesnych biur form charakterystycznych dla wnętrz mieszkalnych. Na potrzeby publikacji, pod kątem wykorzystywanych układów funkcjonalnych i ich modyfikacji, oraz zastosowanych elementów i materiałów wykończeniowych zostaną przeanalizowane wybrane wnętrza biurowe w ośrodkach polskich, oraz w krajach Europy Zachodniej, powstałe w ostatnich latach.
    The main topic of the following article is a process of making office spaces look more like home interiors by introducing furniture, decorative elements and finishing material traditionally used in housing. For this article use there are several examples of polish and western European office building analysed, that have been ejected in few las years. There are functional schemes with all the modifications taken into consideration, as well as elements and materials used to arrange interior spaces.

    Opis:
    The police formations in various countries of the European Union are required to ensure the adoption of institutional patterns to increase the efficiency of detection and improvement of the management system. The subject of the conducted analysis described in this article are the adopted solutions, new forms of supervision of police formations in Ireland and in Poland and their assessment. The article details the provisions of the act adopted in 2015 and entitled Garda Siochana (Policing Authority and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2015, in terms of functioning of the collegial supervisory authority named Policing Authority. Knowing the need to confront the Irish solutions with the Polish ones, the provisions of the draft law of 8 March 2017 were also examined amending the Act on certain rights of employees of the office that supports the Ministry of Interior and Administration as well as officers and employees of offices supervised by the minister as well as certain other laws under which is to be established Internal Supervision Office of the Ministry of Interior and Administration. The author describes the creation and functions of Policing Authority and the Internal Supervision Office at the Ministry of Interior and Administration, the powers of the members and the specificity of action of the listed institutions. The article not only attempts to organize a synthetic knowledge of Policing Authority and the Internal Supervision Office of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, but also focuses attention on a comparison of tasks, relations between the authorities and the minister and the method of financing and control of their current activities. Author focuses mainly on identifying the similarities and differences in the legal solutions determining the existence of both institutions.

    Publikacja przedstawia wojewódzką jednostkę komunistycznej Służby Bezpieczeństwa (SB) w Krośnie, działającą w latach 1975–1990 w strukturach tamtejszej Komendy Wojewódzkiej Milicji Obywatelskiej, a od 1983 r. Wojewódzkiego Urzędu Spraw Wewnętrznych. Artykuł podzielono na dwie części. W pierwszej opisano okoliczności powstania jednostki wojewódzkiej SB w Krośnie w czerwcu 1975 r. oraz jej strukturę, a także zmiany organizacyjne i etatowe, jakie nastąpiły w okresie 15 lat jej istnienia, zaprezentowano jednostki SB podległe WUSW w Krośnie, a utworzone w 1983 r. w rejonowych urzędach spraw wewnętrznych w Jaśle, Brzozowie, Sanoku, Lesku i Ustrzykach Dolnych oraz od 1985 r. w Krośnie. Natomiast w drugiej części znalazły się obszerne biogramy z przebiegiem służby trzech kierowników wojewódzkiej jednostki SB w Krośnie: Stanisława Jamrozika, Jana Żaka i Juliana Szyndlera. Artykuł uzupełniają fotografie wymienionych kierowników jednostki oraz tabele przedstawiające strukturę jednostki SB w 1975 i 1981 r.
    This publication presents the provincial unit of the communist Security Service in Krosno, which was operating from 1975 to 1990 within the structures of the local Provincial Headquarters of the Citizens’ Militia and, from 1983, of the Provincial Office of the Interior. The article is divided into two parts. The first describes the circumstances of the establishment of the provincial unit of the Security Service in Krosno in June 1975 along with its structure, as well as the organisational and staffing changes that took place during the 15 years of its existence. It then presents the Security Service units subordinate to the Provincial Office of the Interior in Krosno that were established in 1983 in the district offices of the interior in Jasło, Brzozów, Sanok, Lesko and Ustrzyki Dolne, and from 1985 in Krosno. The second part, on the other hand, contains extensive biographical notes describing the course of service of the three heads of the provincial unit of the Security Service in Krosno: Stanisław Jamrozik, Jan Żak and Julian Szyndler. The article is supplemented both by photographs of the said unit heads and tables showing the structure of the Security Service unit in 1975 and 1981.

    Po wprowadzeniu stanu wojennego w MSW utworzono jednostkę operacyjną pełniącą funkcję sztabu, która koordynowała działania przeciwko podziemnej Solidarności oraz innym nielegalnym grupom. Biuro Studiów SB MSW powołano w marcu 1982 r., zaczęło ono funkcjonować latem 1982 r. Nadano mu szczególne prerogatywy i mogło ono nadzorować aktywność innych jednostek SB oraz pomagać im w planowaniu i realizacji zadań. Jego oficerowie byli również zaangażowani w rozpracowywanie środowisk antysystemowych. Z dostępnej literatury i dokumentów wynika, że prowadzili złożone gry i kombinacje operacyjne, które obejmowały nawet formowanie kontrolowanych organizacji podziemnych. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono okoliczności powołania tego biura, jego organizację wewnętrzną i podstawowe zadania, które przed nim postawiono. Opisano również chronologię tworzenia jego ogniw terenowych, czyli inspektoratów 2 SB WUSW.
    Following the imposition of martial law, an operational unit was established within the Ministry of the Interior to act as a team to coordinate activities undertaken against the underground Solidarity movement and other illegal groups. The Study Office of the Security Service of the Ministry of the Interior was established in March 1982 and became operational in the summer of 1982. It was given special prerogatives and could supervise the activities of other Security Service units as well as assist them in planning and carrying out their tasks. Its officers were also involved in uncovering anti-system circles. The available literature and documents show that they led complex games and operational combinations that even included the establishment of controlled underground organisations. This article outlines the circumstances surrounding the establishment of this office, its internal organisation and its basic tasks. The chronology of the establishment of its field cells, for instance the inspectorates No. 2 of the Provincial Offices of the Interior of the Security Service, is also described.

    Publikacja przybliża sylwetkę ppłk. Waldemara Więckowskiego (ur. 1944), naczelnika Wydziału II KS MO / SUSW (stołecznego kontrwywiadu) w latach 1983–1990. Na podstawie dostępnych archiwaliów został odtworzony przebieg jego kariery w milicji i SB. Autorka zwraca uwagę głównie na ukończenie przezeń kursu w Wyższej Szkole Komitetu Bezpieczeństwa Państwowego ZSRS i utrzymywanie kontaktów z przedstawicielami KGB w Polsce, wskazuje na posiadanie w związku z pracą na tym stanowisku wiedzy, która zyskiwała szczególne znaczenie w kontekście kształtowania się nowego układu polityczno-gospodarczego, oraz opisuje rolę, jaką odgrywał m.in. w sprawie TW ps. „Konarski”.
    The publication takes a closer look at the profile of Lieutenant Colonel Waldemar Więckowski (born in 1944), head of Department II of the Metropolitan Headquarters of the Citizens’ Militia/Metropolitan Office of the Interior (metropolitan counterintelligence) from 1983 to 1990. His career in the police and the Security Service was reconstructed on the basis of archival materials available. The author draws particular attention to the fact that he completed a course at the Higher School of the USSR State Security Committee and maintained contacts with KGB representatives in Poland. This points to the knowledge he possessed in connection with his work in this position, which took on particular significance in the context of the formation of the new political and economic system, and describes the role he played, among others, in the case of a secret collaborator under the pseudonym “Konarski”.

    Parametry obiektów edukacyjnych są podyktowane wieloma uwarunkowaniami - wymogami inwestora, który ściśle określa zakres zmian w przeprojektowywanym obiekcie, ale przede wszystkim potrzebami użytkowników. Współcześnie ważne jest uzyskanie odpowiedniego balansu pomiędzy funkcjonalnością a wrażeniem estetycznym. Jest to szansa, aby oferta edukacyjna takiego obiektu bardziej przyciągała odbiorców, a sam obiekt pod względem architektonicznym zachowywał wysoką pozycję na rynku nieruchomości. Artykuł przedstawia analizy studialne możliwości rozwiązania funkcjonalno-estetycznego wybranych stref budynku administracyjno-edukacyjnego GEOsfery w Jaworznie. Ten stosunkowo niewielki obiekt funkcjonuje od kilku lat, stanowiąc cel wycieczek edukacyjnych wciąż zwiększających się grup użytkowników z różnych przedziałów wiekowych. W projektach studialnych starano się zachować istniejący układ funkcjonalny, wzbogacając go odpowiednią estetyką i wspierając rozwiązaniami: przechowywania oraz ekspozycji zbiorów, elastycznych podziałów przestrzeni wewnętrznych, multiplikacji, a także redukcji miejsc siedzących w zależności od potrzeb itp. Zaprezentowane projekty to wynik pracy zespołów projektowych studentek Politechniki Śląskiej w Gliwicach, kierunku architektura wnętrz, nadzorowanych przez autorki artykułu.
    The educational facilities undergo many conditions - the requirements of the investor, who strictly defines the scope of changes in the redesigned facility, but above all – the need to adapt it to the needs of users. Nowadays, it is important to achieve the right balance between functionality and aesthetic impression. It is a chance that the educational offer of such a facility will attract more customers, and the facility itself will maintain a high position on the real estate market in terms of architecture. The paper presents a study analysis of the functional and aesthetic solutions of selected zones of the GEOsfera administrative and educational building in Jaworzno. This relatively small facility has been operating for several years, being the destination of educational trips for the ever increasing groups of users from various age groups. In the projects, efforts were made to maintain the existing functional layout, enriching it with appropriate aesthetics and supporting it with solutions: storing and displaying collected items, flexible divisions of internal spaces, multiplying and reducing seats depending on the needs, etc. The presented projects are the result of the work of the Silesian University of Technology students, majoring in Interior Architecture, supervised by the authors of the paper.
