    Opis:
    W artykule przedstawiono zasady opracowania map do celów projektowych z uwzględnieniem obowiązujących przepisów prawnych, w tym też map do celów projektowych na obszarach kolejowych, w ich pobliżu oraz z towarzyszącą infrastrukturą. Opisano treść i formę ich opracowania. Zwrócono uwagę na wyjaśnienia i stanowiska Głównego Geodety Kraju, dotyczące zasad aktualizacji analogowej mapy zasadniczej, oznaczeń i symboliki stosowanej przy sporządzaniu map do celów projektowych. W artykule przedstawiono schemat blokowy procedury opracowania mapy do celów projektowych. Oprócz wniosków i spostrzeżeń pojawiły się propozycje związane z ulepszaniem map projektowych, które są niezbędne w budowlanym procesie inwestycyjnym.
    The article presents the principles of preparation of maps for design purposes, taking into account existing legislation, including a map for design purposes in the areas of railway, their surroundings and the accompanying infrastructure. Describe the content and form of their development. Author turned attention on explanations and the position of Principal Surveyor of the Country, relating the principles of actualization of analog basic map, signs and symbols used in the preparation of maps for design purposes. The article presents a flow chart for the development of maps for design purposes. In addition to the conclusions and findings emerged proposals related to improvements in design maps that are essential in building the investment process. The paper presents the author remarks, conclusions and comments. This work was done within the framework of statutory research AGH No. 11.11.150.005.

    Opis:
    Background. The implementation of alterations to project documentation is the modification of certain solutions, assumptions or requirements. It mostly involves the verification or the specification of project documentation with regard to the actual conditions of execution or the investor’s expectations. The management of alterations in a construction project is aimed at predicting any negative consequences caused by changes in the investment process and their prevention or mitigation. Previous experience indicates that alterations to project documentation introduced during the execution of the work are widespread. They contribute to loss of time and increase in the cost of the project. For this reason, it is necessary to develop and implement an effective model for the management of such alterations.Research aims. The project manager, before construction, should be aware of any alterations to the project documentation that may have occurred during its execution, and their possible consequences. The aim of the study is to identify the causes, the structure and the consequences of alterations to project documentation with regard to water supply and sewerage construction.Methodology. The basis of the research and analyses constitute a detailed review of documentation compiled from eight projects in water supply and sewerage. Among the documents concerned, the “Records of Necessity” and “Records of Negotiations” were especially valuable for conducting the analysis.Key findings. The research conducted indicated the crucial role of the investor in the process of managing alterations to project documentation. The research revealed that proper preparation of the investment process, i.e. recruiting the best designers to prepare the project documentation, tracking changes in the nearer and farther surroundings, may significantly contribute to reducing or even eliminating many alterations to project documentation during the execution of the work.

    One of the main objections against oral history interviews is their retrospective character – the distance from the time of events which are covered by the interviews. While it is not the distance itself that is the issue but its deforming potential: the susceptibility of memory to later, in relation to the discussed events, influences. Another issue is the influence of an interview situation itself, relation between the person documenting interview / the researcher and the so-called witness to history.  The text starts with those theoretical and methodological questions and considers them on the example of concrete, empirical material. The material is the so-called representations of former Auschwitz prisoners gathered through decades by the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum as well as biographic and narrative interviews with the same people recorded in years 2002–2003 for the Mauthausen Survivors Documentation Project and archived in the Oral History Archive of the Karta Center and the History Meeting House.  Thorough comparison of both accounts from the same person delivered orally at a different time, place and in a different context (biographic, social, historical) conducted by different institutions and on the basis of different methodologies allows one to analyze the influence of different contexts on the content of the stories told. The effect of those analyses is a new picture of dependencies between the memory of experience of there and then and the entanglement of stories of this experience with the here and now reality. This picture seems quite distant both from naive realism as well as – although today it may seem quite surprising – from extreme constructivism. Analyzed accounts prove to be quite stable and resistant to the lapse of time as well as the current context of an interview situation. In this last regard, on the basis of analyzed sources, one can formulate some methodological postulates related to its impact.
