    W referacie przedstawiono tematykę zagrożenia metanowego w świetle teorii ryzyka zawodowego, z zastosowaniem metody oceny jakościowej z udziałem ekspertów. Zaprezentowano zidentyfikowane czynniki wysokiego ryzyka zapłonu i wybuchu metanu oraz dokonano ich podziału na grupy znaczeniowe takie jak czynniki litosferyczno-technologiczne CZ, czynniki zainicjowania zapłonu CI, czynniki organizacji, wykrywania i profilaktyki metanowej CO oraz czynniki możliwych skutków ryzyka metanowego CS. W oparciu o przedstawioną procedurę dokonano oceny i klasyfikacji czynników ryzyka metanowego. Na tej podstawie zaproponowano niekonwencjonalne metody redukcji ryzyka metanowego odniesione do czynników ryzyka, których oddziaływanie uznane zostało przez ekspertów za najbardziej niekorzystne.
    The paper presents the topic of methane hazard in the light of occupational risk assessment theory, using the qualitative assessment method with the participation of experts. The identified risk factors of ignition and methane explosion were presented and they were divided into semantic groups such as lithospheric and technological factors CZ, ignition factors CI, organization, methane detection and prevention factors CO and possible consequences of methane risk CS. Based on the presented procedure, the methane risk factors were assessed and classified. On this basis, unconventional methane risk reduction methods were proposed related to risk factors, which impact was considered by the experts the most unfavorable.

    Opis:
    Eye tracking recordings could reveal the visual behavior for different cartographic visualization techniques, such as hill-shading, while at the same time eye tracking metrics (ETMs) can summarize the associated complexity levels in a concise and quantitative manner. In the present study, three different hill-shading methods, including:(i) the standard method based on ideal diffuse reflection, (ii) the Multidirectional ObliqueWeighted method – MDOW and (iii) the combination of a MDOW’s variation with standard hill-shading, are evaluated and ranked in terms of their perceived visual complexity. The performed examination is based on both eye tracking techniques and expert judgement procedures. A weighted combination of basic ETMs has been used, implemented by the Landscape Rating Index – LRI. The weights resulted from an experts’ judgement process where the opinions of experts in geoinformatics, cartography, geovisualization, experimental psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience and eye tracking were analyzed. Fifteen (15) individuals participated in an eye tracking experiment with hill-shading images produced by the three methods under evaluation, while 41 experts participated in an online questionnaire in order to collect all the analysis data. The final evaluation was based on the computation of three LRI models. The outcomes indicate that implementing hill-shading with more than one light sources results in similar perceptual behaviors, allowing for a seamless exploitation of the advantages of using multidirectional illumination.

    Opis:
    Background. Backpacking is a relatively new way of travelling (dates back to the 1990s). Therefore academic interest in backpacker tourism has grown since the beginning of the 21st century. In Australia the sector dedicated to the needs and expectations of one of the Australian tourism pillars, i.e. backpacking, operates very effectively. Among the available proposals there are mainly offers made by hostels, travel agencies, clubs or recreation places. In Poland, however, what is advertised are activities that are offered, e.g. hiking, skiing, agro-tourism or culture-oriented tourism and particular tourism products, e.g. theme trails dedicated to e.g. backpackers. Folders, brochures and leaflets remain the most frequent means of advertising. The aim of the article is to evaluate the advertising materials affecting the induction of response desired by the target audience – backpackers. Material and methods. Expert evaluation method was used to analyze the advertising materials available in the years 2014–2015. Results and conclusion. The analysis and evaluation of selected publications allowed observing the most important similarities and differences in selection methods and the level of application of crucial elements by Australian and Polish publishers.

    This article presents the method of resolving conflicts arising around projects implemented in the area included in the revitalisation programme. The author presents the subject of social participation in the Central European context, in which the low level of social trust and the difficulty in making joint decisions in the spirit of consensus are characteristic. The aim of this article is to try to define the role of experts in the participatory planning model. The described case study allows for the assumption that in the search for the desired changes in the area covered by the revitalization program, the participation of not only stakeholders but also experts should be taken into account. Thanks to this approach, it becomes possible to articulate – often contradictory needs, which in turn increases the chances for the implementation of postulates submitted by stakeholders. Real social participation in the decision-making process regarding changes related to revitalization is possible thanks to the involvement of experts who are, in a way, “shop stewards” who guarantee not only an appropriate level of debate but also help to objectify the developed postulates.
    W artykule omówiono sposób rozwiązywania konfliktów pojawiających się wokół projektów realizowanych na obszarze objętym programem rewitalizacji. Autor przedstawia w nim problematykę partycypacji społecznej w kontekście środkowoeuropejskim, dla którego charakterystycznym elementem jest niski poziom zaufania społecznego oraz trudność w podejmowaniu wspólnych decyzji w duchu konsensusu. Celem artykułu jest próba określenia roli ekspertów w partycypacyjnym modelu planowania. Opisane studium przypadku pozwala przyjąć założenie, że w poszukiwaniu pożądanych zmian w obszarze objętym programem rewitalizacji należy uwzględnić udział nie tylko interesariuszy, ale także ekspertów. Dzięki takiemu podejściu możliwe staje się wyartykułowanie – często sprzecznych ze sobą – potrzeb, co w konsekwencji zwiększa szanse na urzeczywistnianie i realizację zgłoszonych przez interesariuszy postulatów. Realny udział społeczny w procesie decyzyjnym dotyczącym przemian związanych z rewitalizacją jest możliwy dzięki zaangażowaniu ekspertów, którzy są niejako „mężami zaufania”, gwarantującymi nie tylko odpowiedni poziom debaty, ale również pomoc w obiektywizacji wypracowanych postulatów.

    Opis:
    The innovation of application of cloud managers is described in the article. The authors emphasize that the innovative direction of development of information activities is the integration of Web platforms (social networks and cloud storages) for creating a unified communication space and storage for large amount of information. Tool that provides this development are cloud managers. For library institutions using such technologies will create the favorable and flexible serviceoriented system for providing users with information resources. For determination of free cloud managers and selected among them a benchmark, the methods of benchmarking and expert evaluation were used in the research. The algorithm for operation with every service is given. The following technological capabilities: “integration with cloud storage”, “cloud disk space manager”, “multimedia playback,” “presence of workspace” for collaboration were taken into account. The result of the study is to determine the cloud manager that can serve as a benchmark for providing free cloud services with a wide range of technological capabilities.
