Retail trade - Opis:
- A propensity to use innovative payment instruments depends mostly on: payment habits, "switching costs" connected with the change of instruments used so far and their advantage over traditional instruments in terms of convenience, safety and cost. Empirical research proves that polish consumers still prefer cash in today transactions (however they use more and more often cards) and their propensity to use innovative instruments is low. It is caused by high level of traditional instruments' satisfaction and the fact that according to respondents innovative instruments are not competitive for cash in terms of convenience, speed, cost and safety. They were also graded lower than traditional noncash payment instruments (excluding speed).
