Opis:: Warehousing is a labour-intensive process, requiring warehouse operators to use different methods of work and various equipment and to be in constant motion. During this process, various types of warehousing errors can occur, which can be reduced with the introduction of a suitable strategy. A prerequisite for this is to have sufficient knowledge of the specifics of error prevention in the warehouse process that are mainly linked to how warehouse operators perceive the usefulness of modern technology, the introduction of modern work processes and their own accountability in work. This study aims to develop a strategy that takes into account these aspects and is an ideal solution for the prevention of potential errors in the warehouse process of the company.

The idea of work as freight forwarder is to manage the fleet in the optimal way or to ensure the effective carriage of goods from the point of loading to the point of destination. Due to large number of factors as weather conditions, type of rolling stock, which must be used, cooperation with subcontractors, arrangements with clients, characteristics of load or the necessary conditions which must be fulfilled,, it is necessary to use proper programs, which will make easier and optimize the freight forwarders job. In this paper modern and supportive programs which make the freight forwarder work more effective are presented.

Opis:: Purpose: Identification of the barriers and determinants of the use of autonomous robots in e-commerce. Design/methodology/approach: The research procedure included a review of Polish and foreign literature and survey research. The paper presents the results of a Delphi study among 25 experts of courier services. Findings: The use of autonomous robots may be one of the solutions that will contribute to the improvement of the functionality of processes in enterprises. The process of implementing autonomous robots is associated with building a relationship based on trust between the user and technology Research limitations/implications: Limitations of the conducted research reflects to only one Delphi round. Practical implications: The results of the study may be helpful for transport companies and courier companies in improving the process of delivering parcels. They can be used for elaboration policy, tools and instrument for the purposes of limitation identified under the study main barriers of the application of autonomous robots in the e-commerce. Originality/value: The presented research and conclusions provide practical tips for transport and delivery companies on how to use autonomous robots to improve the process of delivering parcels in the e-commerce sector, based on the results obtained from the Delphi study.

Opis:: This article discusses the issue of technological changes required to adapt to the conditions prevailing on the market. Such operations are necessary to obtain a competitive advantage and meet the requirements of customers. The growing demand for transport services and the development of distribution networks exert pressure on entrepreneurs seeking to optimize processes. At the beginning of the article, the concept of transport and the development of the industry over the years are approximated. The next section discusses the concept of the Internet of Things, which helps monitor transport objects in real time. The data obtained allows for an analysis and optimization of the entire process. Next, the use of the Internet of Things in practice is presented. There are many companies on the market that have already implemented Internet of Things solutions or intend to do so. The post implementation effects presented show that the investment is profitable. At the end of the article the future and development of the Internet of Things in the world is outlined. It increases both innovation and quality of offered services and is a perspective direction of development of the transport industry.

W tym artykule przedstawiono najnowsze rozwiązania posadowień konstrukcji inżynierskich, które zostały poddane analizie i badaniom na przestrzeni kilku ostatnich lat.
