    Der Beitrag untersucht Hartmut Langes Novelle Das Konzert im Hinblick auf die literarische Auseinandersetzung mit der Shoah. Die Analyse stützt sich auf die Annahme, dass die romantischen Prämissen, die diesem Text zugrunde liegen, fragwürdige Resultate liefern. Wesentliche Anregung für seine Kritik bezieht der Aufsatz von Jean Améry.  
    Artykuł analizuje nowelę Hartmuta Langego Das Konzert pod kątem literackiego rozprawiania się z Szoa. Opiera się na przypuszczeniu, iż romantyczne założenia, które tworzą podstawę tego tekstu, prowadzą do wątpliwych rezultatów. Istotne aspekty swojej krytyki autor artykułu zawdzięcza Jeanowi Améry’emu.
    The article deals with Hartmut Lange’s short story Das Konzert under the perspective of the literary approach to the Shoah. The analysis bases on the presumption that the ideas of romantic aesthetics, which form the ground of the short story, lead to questionable results. The critical reading of Lange’s text is mainly inspired by Jean Améry.

    The article derives from the intertextual approach to the notion of literary identity, introduced to the modern literary theory in the 1960’s by Julia Kristeva (born 1941). The main idea behind this approach is that no literary text should be perceived as an isolated unity, but always in relation to other texts, which it refers to. The author applies the intertextual perspective to examine the signs of external literary influences in Lise Andersens minimalist prose collection ”En særlig sommer og andre billeder”, published in 2008. The analysis aims to highlight influences from the American short story genre, which appears as an important source of inspiration not only for Andersen herself, but in fact for most of the Danish writers of minimalist fiction. The analysis provides examples of, how inspiration from the American short story manifests itself in form, narration and structure of the selected stories in the collection. Last but not least, the author draws attention to the general importance of American influences in Danish contemporary short fiction and their role for the critical perception of this literary genre both in Denmark and abroad.

    Opis:
    The paper is devoted to the editorial and translation history of Grazia Deledda’s short stories in Poland before the Second World War, a topic barely touched upon in scholarship so far. I establish which original collections were most successful and examine the circumstances of the publication of the translations, taking into consideration the translators and the profiles of the journals that published the eleven translated short stories. My study of the translations themselves focuses on the translators’ approach to Italian and Sardinian nature and culture and identifies elements that were eliminated, reproduced without explanation, or explained by means of notes. My findings are that only one translation is equipped with footnotes, that the local colour is largely rendered in translation, and that major losses in translation include some elements of descriptions of landscapes and characters.
    Il saggio è dedicato alla fortuna editoriale e traduttiva della novellistica deleddiana in Polonia prima della Seconda guerra mondiale, un argomento finora poco studiato. Si stabilisce quali siano state le raccolte originali più fortunate; si esaminano altresì le circostanze della pubblicazione delle traduzioni, prendendo in considerazione le figure dei traduttori e il profilo delle riviste che hanno accolto le undici novelle tradotte. Lo studio delle traduzioni si focalizza sull’approccio dei traduttori nei confronti della natura e della cultura italiana e sarda per approfondire la questione delle scelte traduttive. Ci si chiede in particolare quali elementi sono stati eliminati, quali invece sono stati riprodotti senza spiegazioni o spiegati con uso di note. L’indagine qui condotta ha portato alla conclusione che solo una fra le traduzioni esaminate contiene delle note à piè di pagina, che il colorito locale è stato in gran parte rispettato e che le perdite interessano maggiormente gli elementi descrittivi relativi a paesaggi e personaggi.

    Opis:
    Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie założeń i skutków reformy sądownictwa administracyjnego w Austrii z 2012 r. (Verwaltungsgerichtsbarkeits-Novelle 2012). Reformę tę określa się w Austrii mianem „reformy stulecia”, ponieważ była ona wynikiem największej i najdalej idącej zmiany w austriackiej konstytucji od czasu jej wejścia w życie w 1920 r. Reforma ta była długo dyskutowana, jednak ze względu na niechęć polityków austriackich do reform w tej dziedzinie, nie była ona już w istocie ani spodziewana, ani oczekiwana. Pojęcie „reformy stulecia” odzwierciedla również zdumienie szczęśliwym window of opportunity w austriackiej polityce, które pozwoliło na wdrożenie tej długo oczekiwanej reformy. Sformułowanie to nie powinno jednak przesłaniać faktu, że reforma sądownictwa administracyjnego w Austrii nie była w kontekście międzynarodowym szczególną innowacją: polegała ona raczej na w znacznej mierze spóźnionym dostosowaniu go do standardów międzynarodowych, aktualnych w innych państwach europejskich wiele lat wcześniej. Niemniej jednak reorganizacja systemu ochrony prawnej obejmuje również zmiany, które faktycznie stanowią w Austrii „nowy grunt”. W kolejnych częściach opracowania,  po  dokonaniu  przeglądu  rozwoju  historycznego  oraz  podstaw i ram „nowego” sądownictwa administracyjnego pod względem organizacyjnym i proceduralnym, przedstawiono bardziej szczegółowo charakterystyczne cechy obecnego systemu ochrony prawnej w Austrii.
    The aim of the study is to present the assumptions and effects of the administrative judiciary reform in Austria in 2012 (Verwaltungsgerichtsbarkeits-Novelle 2012). This reform is referred to in Austria as the “reform of the century” because it was the result of the largest and most far-reaching change to the Austrian constitution since its entry into force in 1920. This reform was long debated, but due to the reluctance of Austrian politicians to reform in this area, it was in fact neither expected nor hoped for. The notion of “reform of the century” also reflects the amazement at the happy “window of opportunity” in Austrian politics, which allowed the implementation of this long-awaited reform. This formulation should not, however, obscure the fact that the reform  of administrative judiciary in Austria was not a particular innovation in an international context: rather, it consisted in largely late adaptation to international standards, valid in other European countries many years earlier. Nevertheless, the reorganization of the legal protection system also includes changes which in fact constitute “new ground” in Austria. In the following parts of the study, after reviewing the historical development and the foundations and framework of the “new” administrative judiciary in organizational and procedural terms, the characteristics of the current system of legal protection in Austria are presented in more detail.
