Opis:
The ornate dog tick, D. reticulatus, is the second most common tick species in Europe. It occurs across the temperate zone of Eurasia, from England and France to the basin of the Jenisej River in Siberia, and the occurrence area ranges from 56–57°N latitude down to 52°N latitude. The range is divided into two distinct parts, the WestEuropean and the Eastern part. The western region covers France and northern Spain, South-western England and Wales, Germany, Austria, Czech, Western Slovakia and Hungary. The eastern region extends from the eastern part of Poland and Slovakia, through Belarus and Russia as far east as Siberia. The southern parts of this region cover Ukraine, Eastern Hungary and Romania. From the 1970s, D. reticulatus has expanded its area of occurrence. In Poland, the front of the area is historically situated along the Vistula River. From the 1980s new tick populations has appeared to the west of this border. In the past years, new populations of D. reticulatus appeared close to the western border of Poland near Szczecin and Wrocław. These are possibly the first observations of the merge between the two separated areas of D. reticulatus occurrence.

Opis:
The presence of Dytiscus latissimus L. was discovered in the course of the studies on invertebrates from the Ińsko Lake. This beetle species had not been reported from that region of the country before. Not only is it a rare and protected species in Poland, but it is also featured in the Red List of Threatened species.
W trakcie badań wodnych bezkręgowców jeziora Ińsko stwierdzono występowanie Dytiscus latissimus L. Jest to bardzo rzadko stwierdzany gatunek chrząszcza w Polsce, dotąd nie wykazywany z tej części kraju. Gatunek ten objęty jest w Polsce ochroną gatunkową oraz jest wymieniony w Czerwonej Liście Zwierząt Ginących i Zagrożonych.

Ten species of digeneans were found in a survey of six species of terrestrial birds associated with woodland and urban habitats of north-western Poland carried out in 2006–2009: Leucochloridium paradoxum Carus, 1835 (Leucochloridiidae) from the Cyanistes caeruleus (L.) and the Parus major L. (Paridae); Leuchochloridium perturbatum Pojmańska, 1968 (Leucochloridiidae) from the Turdus merula L., (Turdidae) and the Corvus monedula L. (Corvidae); Leucochloridium sp. (Leucochloridiidae Poche, 1907) from the Asio otus (L.) (Strigidae) and P. major; Strigea strigis (Schrank, 1788) (Strigeidae) from the A. otus; Morishitium elongatum (Harrach, 1921) (Cyclocoelidae) and Psilotornus confertus Machalska, 1974 (Psilostomidae) and Leyogonimus postgonoporos (Neiland, 1951) and Lutztrema attenuatum (Dujardin, 1845) (Dicrocoeliidae) from the T. merula; Plagiorchis maculosus (Rudolphi, 1802) (Plagiorchiidae) from the C. caeruleus; Prosthogonimus ovatus (Rudolphi, 1803) (Prosthogonimidae) from the Dendrocopos major (Linnaeus) (Picidae); Zonorchis petiolatus (Railliet, 1900) (Dicrocoeliidae) from the T. merula and the C. monedula. Five species and one genus of digeneans: L. paradoxum from the C. caeruleus and the P. major; Leucochloridium sp. from the A. otus and P. major; P. confertus from the T. merula; P. maculosus from the C. caeruleus; P. ovatus from the D. major and Z. petiolatus from the C. monedula represent new Polish host records. S. striges and L. postgonoporus represent new Polish locations.

Opis:
The article focuses on the role of logistic centers in the environment of economic regionalization. The discussion indicates that logistics centers built in a particular area, create a specific economic climate which allows to consider them as a regional product. As a result, logistic centers with appropriate infrastructure of transfer would gain extra points for the change of the means of transport. Great needs of the country create a huge demand for the development of logistic centers, which in turn contributes to the development of a region. As they constitute a driving force of a country, the location of the new centers as well as upgrading and expansion of the existing ones, is very important.

Opis:
New church construction in the cities of Serbia in the last 25 years is a consequence of restrictions and the marginalisation of religion during the pre-1989 socialist period. In the period from 1945 to 1989, almost no new churches were built, and urban planners in Serbia have not developed appropriate selection criteria for the location of new religious buildings. Religious buildings built in the period after 1990 were built on sites that were selected ad hoc without considering the needs of believers and churches. In the last 25 years, more than 400 churches have been built in rural areas and cities, which influenced the reshaping of the cultural landscape. In this paper, attention is given to determining the required number of churches, their location, and the distribution of the urban structure in relation to various relevant factors. The specific spatial organisation of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the homeland and in the diaspora is emphasized.

A redescription of the extinct snake genus Colombophis is presented, on the basis of new specimens from the late Miocene of southwestern Brazilian Amazonia, and those previously reported for the middle Miocene of Colombia and Venezuela. The reappraisal of Colombophis allows the recognition of a new species,C. spinosussp. nov. The revised diagnosis of the genus is based on the midtrunk vertebrae, distinct from those of other snakes mainly in the features of the neural arch, position and shape of the neural spine, inclination of the zygapophyses, shape of the centrum, and development of the haemal keel. The affinities of Colombophis with “Anilioidea” are still unresolved; it is distinguished from all known extinct and extant “anilioids” due to its great vertebral size and the frequent presence of paracotylar foramina. The posterior paired apophyses of the haemal keel in some vertebrae, and the high neural spine of C. spinosus also contrast significantly with the “anilioid” genera, making the allocation of the genus into this probably paraphyletic group not well supported. Here, we recognized Colombophis as a basal alethinophidian of uncertain relationships.

W artykule poruszono problem realizacji budynku usługowo-biurowego z wielopoziomowym parkingiem wśród zwartej zabudowy centrum miasta, na terenie znajdującym się w archeologicznej strefie ochrony konserwatorskiej. Przedstawiono historię tego rejonu, działania związane z przygotowaniem realizacji inwestycji, w tym przeprowadzone prace archeologiczne oraz działania związane ze wzmocnieniem sąsiednich budynków. Omówiono problem konieczności wprowadzenia nowej organizacji ruchu drogowego na ulicach przyległych do placu budowy. Przedstawiono realizację obiektu oraz jego funkcje i parametry użytkowe.
The paper discusses the issue of carrying out a construction project comprising a service and office building with a multi-level car park facilities in a high-density housing in a city centre, in the area located in the archaeological zone of conservation protection. It presents the history of the region, activities related to the preparation of the project, including archaeological work and activities connected with the reinforcement of neighbouring buildings. The issue of the need to introduce a new traffic organization in the streets adjacent to the construction site has been discussed. The project’s realisation as well as its functions and in-use parameters have been presented.
