The article deals with some terms proposed by the proper institutions of the Council of Europe for describing the phenomenon of invasion of living organisms into new habitats. As these terms were elaborated mainly from the point of view of free leaving creatures, the goal of the authors was to discuss the possibility to adapt them for parasites species. Several propositions of resolving some difficulties have been presented.

Opis:
Eriocheir sinensis H. Milne-Edwards, 1853 is a non-native species found in European waters. Analyses of mitten crabs caught in brackish waters (Gulf of Gdańsk, Poland) and in freshwater (Havel River, Germany) have indicated that numerous epibionts (possibly temporary) inhabit the dense setal mats that cover the chelipeds. Of the 950 associates found on 22 crabs collected from brackish water, the most abundant were Nematoda (82.3%), followed by Bivalvia (10.3%), Crustacea (5.6%), Oligochaeta (1.2%) and Gastropoda (0.6%). In comparison, 1280 specimens (Chironomidae – 67.6% and Halacaridae – 32.4%), were identified from 13 crabs collected in freshwater. As this crab can migrate long distances, it is capable of transporting native and non-native species via its mittened claws to new habitats.

This paper presents a new record of the rose chafer Protaetia speciosissima (Scopoli, 1786) (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae), a rare beetle species associated with tree hollows. Specimens of this beetle were found in the oak forest in the Krotoszyn Forest District, west-central Poland, in nest-box for the tawny owl (Strix aluco L., 1758) that had accumulated dead organic material. This finding suggests that it is possible for P. speciosissima to develop and reproduce outside its typical microhabitats.

W artykule naszkicowano – przy zastosowaniu metody analizy literatury przedmiotu – społeczno-mieszkaniowo-osadnicze odniesienia myśli i praktyki historycznego Bauhausu prowadzące do rysującego się przesłania Nowego Europejskiego Bauhausu (NEB). NEB wprowadza – jak dzieło Waltera Gropiusa – klimat nadziei. Podjęte tu rozważania na ten temat wskazują, iż bez rzeczywistego śmielszego odchodzenia od kapitalistycznego paradygmatu rynkowego wzrostu ekonomicznego NEB pozostanie – jak historyczny Bauhaus – ambitną, w dobrym tego słowa znaczeniu, utopijną propozycją holistycznej, humanistycznej cywilizacji opartej na społecznym gospodarowaniu. Aby temu spróbować zapobiec, w NEB nie można wyzbyć się prób naprawiania całej sfery osadnictwa i przestrzeni zamieszkiwania, tj. naprawiania świata. Należy zatem promować w NEB sprawdzone także w międzywojennej Polsce kulturowe i technologiczne wartości architektury i urbanistyki rozszerzone o koncepcje mieszkalnictwa, osadnictwa i zamieszkiwania wykraczające poza miasta i obszary zurbanizowane nie tylko na obszarze UE i Europy. Tylko wtedy pojawią się szanse na urzeczywistnianie holistycznej, długookresowej naprawy codziennego zamieszkiwania inkluzywnych społeczności i społeczeństw. O NEB jeszcze niewiele w sumie wiemy, co dodatkowo upoważnia do zarysowania jego korzeni, związanych z nim oczekiwań, szans i zagrożeń.
The article outlines – using the Literature Analysis Tool – the socio-residentialsettlement references of historical Bauhaus thoughts and practices leading to the emerging message of the New European Bauhaus (NEB). NEB introduces – like the work of Walter Gropius – a climate of hope. The current reflections indicate that without a real bolder departure from the capitalist paradigm of the market economic growth, NEB will remain – like the historical Bauhaus – an ambitious, in a good sense of the word utopian, proposition of a holistic, humanistic civilization based on social management. In order to prevent this from happening with the NEB, one cannot abandon the attempts to repair the entire sphere of settlement and living space, i.e., repairing the world. Therefore, it is necessary to promote through NEB, also existent in interwar Poland, the cultural and technological values of architecture and urban planning extended to the concepts of housing, settlement and dwelling beyond cities and urbanized areas not only in the EU and Europe. Only then will there be opportunities for the implementation of a holistic, long-term fix of the daily living of inclusive communities and societies. We do not know much about NEB, which additionally provides us with an opportunity to outline its roots, expectations, opportunities and threats related to it.

Two new localities of Orobanche mayeri (Suess. & Ronniger) Bertsch & F. Bertsch, one of the rarest representatives of the family Orobanchaceae in Europe, are reported from southern Poland. The species was recorded in the Pieniny Mts (Central Western Carpathians) in July 2009. The hosts, abundance and habitat preferences at the new localities are described and a supplemented map of the distribution in Europe and Poland is given.

The Bieszczady Mts, a mountain range in SE Poland, is a hot spot of fungal richness and diversity in Poland. This paper summarizes 5 years of studies in the Bieszczady Mts, as well as previously published research. A total of 1,377 macromycetes taxa were found, including many (464) which were protected, red-listed, or very rare in Poland. Thirty-eight taxa (nine Ascomycota and 29 Basidiomycota) have been reported in Poland for the first time: Agrocybe gibberosa, Auriporia aurulenta, Bolbitius variicolor, Bulgariella pulla, Chaetosphaerella phaeostroma, Clitocybe subspadicea, Clitopilus passeckerianus, Cortinarius anomalus var. subcaligatus, C. fervidus, C. flexipes var. inolens, C. sylvae-norvegicae, Cudoniella tenuispora, Entoloma bisporigerum, E. olorinum, E. poliopus var. parvisporigerum, E. sericeoides, Galerina caulocystidiata, Gymnopilus josserandii, Hymenoscyphus subferrugineus, Hypholoma olivaceotinctum, Inocybe queletii, Laccaria altaica, Lactarius romagnesii, L. rostratus, Mycena epipterygia var. atroviscosa, M. epipterygia var. candida, M. polygramma f. candida, Octavianina lutea, O. mutabilis, Pachyella violaceonigra, Panaeolus papilionaceus var. capitatocystis, Phaeocollybia jennyae, Psathyrella almerensis, Pyrenopeziza inornata, Scutellinia torrentis, Tricholoma basirubens, Tricholomopsis flammula, and Vibrissea decolorans. For all new taxa, short descriptions based on the collected material have been provided.

Two localities of Pupilla pratensis were found in the environs of Gubin and Stęszew, W. Poland. Only one recent record of the species, earlier regarded as an ecotype of the widespread P. muscorum, was known from Poland. Consequently, the distribution and conservation status of the species are not well known. Our data indicate that P. pratensis is rare and has specific habitat requirements. In our study area it was found in only two out of 71 examined localities of a very similar habitat type and sampled on the same occasions. The two localities are wet meadows covered by sedges (mostly Carex acutiforis) growing on a calcareous peat substratum of lacustrine origin; the species is accompanied by two rare and legally protected vertiginids: Vertigo angustior and V. moulinsiana.

Ten species of digeneans were found in a survey of six species of terrestrial birds associated with woodland and urban habitats of north-western Poland carried out in 2006–2009: Leucochloridium paradoxum Carus, 1835 (Leucochloridiidae) from the Cyanistes caeruleus (L.) and the Parus major L. (Paridae); Leuchochloridium perturbatum Pojmańska, 1968 (Leucochloridiidae) from the Turdus merula L., (Turdidae) and the Corvus monedula L. (Corvidae); Leucochloridium sp. (Leucochloridiidae Poche, 1907) from the Asio otus (L.) (Strigidae) and P. major; Strigea strigis (Schrank, 1788) (Strigeidae) from the A. otus; Morishitium elongatum (Harrach, 1921) (Cyclocoelidae) and Psilotornus confertus Machalska, 1974 (Psilostomidae) and Leyogonimus postgonoporos (Neiland, 1951) and Lutztrema attenuatum (Dujardin, 1845) (Dicrocoeliidae) from the T. merula; Plagiorchis maculosus (Rudolphi, 1802) (Plagiorchiidae) from the C. caeruleus; Prosthogonimus ovatus (Rudolphi, 1803) (Prosthogonimidae) from the Dendrocopos major (Linnaeus) (Picidae); Zonorchis petiolatus (Railliet, 1900) (Dicrocoeliidae) from the T. merula and the C. monedula. Five species and one genus of digeneans: L. paradoxum from the C. caeruleus and the P. major; Leucochloridium sp. from the A. otus and P. major; P. confertus from the T. merula; P. maculosus from the C. caeruleus; P. ovatus from the D. major and Z. petiolatus from the C. monedula represent new Polish host records. S. striges and L. postgonoporus represent new Polish locations.

Opis:
The right to the city is a solution that can be considered in terms of third-generation human rights. The right to the city also serves as a tool for the effective fulfilment and respect of human rights agreed at the international level as well as the Sustainable Development Goals expressed in the 2030 Agenda. This is undoubtedly a new paradigm for urban development, which provides an alternative framework for rethinking cities and urbanisation. It aims to address the main challenges in cities and human settlements. The purpose of the article is to present an understanding of the right to the city by the analysis of its structure and the answer to the question of whether it is in fact a third-generation human right.
Prawo do miasta jest koncepcją, którą można rozpatrywać w kontekście praw człowieka trzeciej generacji. Prawo do miasta służy również jako narzędzie skutecznego wypełniania i poszanowania praw człowieka istniejących na poziomie międzynarodowym oraz realizacji Celów Zrównoważonego Rozwoju wyrażonych w Agendzie 2030. Jest to niewątpliwie nowy paradygmat rozwoju miast, który zapewnia alternatywne ramy dla ponownego przemyślenia pojęcia miasta i urbanizacji. Jego celem jest sprostanie głównym wyzwaniom, z jakimi stykają się miasta. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie rozumienia prawa do miasta poprzez analizę jego struktury i odpowiedź na pytanie, czy w istocie jest to prawo trzeciej generacji.

The paper presents a community of water plants that is new to Poland, Veronico beccabungae-Callitrichetum stagnalis (Oberd. 1957) Müller 1962. This community belongs to the class Potametea. It was discovered in the village of Odrowąż near the town of Krapkowice in Silesia (SW Poland). Veronico beccabungae-Callitrichetum stagnalis in Poland occurs within an irregularly shaped shallow underwater spring, located in the distal part of the Oder River’s flood terrace. This plant community covered 0.2 ha in 2008. Callitriche stagnalis predominated in this community. Species such as Callitriche hamulata and Callitriche verna occurred less frequently. An average of five species were counted in a relevé. Alkaline sediments (pH 8.03) occur in the substratum, but sediments with a lower pH value (7.73) occur in the spring’s outflow zone towards the Odra River. Water in the spring, where Veronico beccabungae-Callitrichetum stagnalis occurred, has a medium mineralisation but is rich in dissolved compounds. The condition of this community within the studied habitat could be evidence for highly adaptive abilities and this community's good adjustment to the natural conditions. Veronico beccabungae-Callitrichetum stagnalis is a rare and endangered plant community in Central Europe. The locality of this plant community in Poland should be given species protection.

The Polish localities of Orobanche ramosa L., branched broomrape, are either extinct or have not been confirmed for many years. This paper presents two new localities of O. ramosa in Poland from the Pła skowyż Proszowicki plateau (Wyżyna Małopolska upland) and the Nizina Nadwiślańska lowland (Kotlina Sandomierska basin). Habitat preferences and the abundance at the sites are described. A revised map of the distribution and a historical analysis of preferred hosts in Poland are included. The taxonomy, biology, ecology and control methods of O. ramosa are also discussed.
Orobanche ramosa, zaraza gałęzista, znana była od dawna w Europie Centralnej, jako pasożyt upraw konopi i tytoniu, i nie miała dotychczas poważniejszego znaczenia gospodarczego. Jednak w ostatnich latach staje się agresywnym chwastem, adaptuje się do nowych żywicieli i powoduje znaczne straty w uprawach. W Polsce należy do gatunków o rzadkich lub od dawna nie potwierdzonych stanowiskach. Pierwsze udokumentowane wzmianki o pojawieniu się zarazy gałęzistej w Polsce pochodzą z początku XIX w., głównie z upraw konopi, gdzie miała optimum występowania, a także z tytoniu i ziemniaków. Preferowane siedliska to uprawy okopowe z udziałem gatunków żywicielskich, w zbiorowiskach należących do rzędu Polygono-Chenopodetalia (klasa Stellarietea mediae). W latach 2008-2010, gatunek ten stwierdzono tylko na dwóch stanowiskach w kraju: w uprawie tytoniu w okolicy Zysławic (Płaskowyż Proszowicki) oraz koło wsi Szewce (Nizina Nadwiślańska), w uprawie pomidorów. Populacje liczyły od kilkuset do ponad 1 000 pędów. O. ramosa jak dotąd, nie powodowała i nie powoduje znacznych szkód w uprawach, jest gatunkiem ginącym w Polsce. Jednak z uwagą należy obserwować ten gatunek, zwłaszcza w okolicy Sandomierza, jednego z największych regionów upraw warzywniczych w Polsce.

Opis:
This paper discusses the floristic structure, distribution and habitat requirements of a new aquatic syntaxon, Stuckenietum amblyphyllae ass. nova. Patches of the Stuckenietum amblyphyllae association occur in the Pamir Alai Mountains in Middle Asia (Tajikistan). The biotope of this community represent high mountain rivers and ponds at the bottom of glacial river valleys situated at elevations between 1900 and 3800 m. Patches of the Stuckenietum amblyphyllae association are characterised by a clear predominance of the typical species, i.e. Stuckenia amblyphylla, which occupies an aerial extent of between near 40 up to 90% of the surface studied. Patches of the community are poor in species, comprising a maximum of five taxa. Among associated species mainly rush, aquatic, meadow and marsh taxa have been noted. The Stuckenietum amblyphyllae community prefers cold, open, alkaline waters with medium flow-rate, ranging in depth from 15 to 75 cm. It is also, but rarely, found in the mountain ponds. Together with the Stuckenia filiformis community it designates in the Pamir Alai Mountains the upper limit of aquatic vegetation.
