    The paper aims to identify the main trends and recommendations for the development of merchandise trade in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) integrating environment through the analysis of its mutual and foreign (internal and external) merchandise trade. The study is based on the official statistical data for 2014–2018 and economic comparisons and systematisation (including geographical systematisation). The results show that the intensification of mutual and foreign trade in the EAEU is possible by stimulating consumer and industrial demand, enhancing exports of high tech products and diversifying exports, and strengthening the cooperation within the EAEU and with other countries and integration associations.

    The article is focused on the political relations between Poland and Germany in last three decades. In first part of the article it was introduced the evolution of the most important political events before the entry of Poland to the European Union. Underlined a major part of the German partner stayed in achieving the membership of Poland of this organization. In second part of the article it was described a new level relationship between them after the accession of Poland to the EU. Apart from many postivie aspects of the development of mutual relations quoted problems which influence for worsening them remaind. A few principal conclusions were introduced in the end of the article.

    In this research work, the author focuses on the analysis of the problem of specificity the regulatory protectionism in contemporary foreign trade policy. It has been emphasized that the talks between EU and USA will make reducing regulatory barriers. New agreements to remove trade barriers aim at reducing dead-weight costs and at increasing net social gains from international trade. The article examined the impact of investor-state dispute resolution mechanisms in reducing the power of national governments to regulate and elimination of market inequality. The article offers examples of successful regulatory cooperation efforts in the hope that it will shed light on possible approaches to addressing regulatory divergences. Ideally, the best way to address problems arising from regulatory divergence would be on a multilateral basis. The main aim of the article is the presentation of the specificity of the regulatory protectionism in contemporary foreign trade policy.

    Podstawowym celem artykułu jest przedstawienie najważniejszych aspektów transatlantyckich negocjacji w sprawie handlu usługami. Po pierwsze, zwrócono uwagę na różnego rodzaju bariery nietaryfowe (często w formie regulacji wewnętrznych) występujące po obu stronach Atlantyku, które stanowią poważną przeszkodę w pogłębianiu transatlantyckiej wymiany usług. Po drugie, zauważono, że znaczące korzyści ekonomiczne w handlu usługami wymagają pogłębionych dyskusji o kwestiach regulacyjnych, i po trzecie, że dyskusje te nie mogą polegać na technikach negocjacyjnych używanych zwykle w przypadku handlu towarami. Istnieje zatem potrzeba przyjęcia nowego podejścia opartego na wzajemnym uznawaniu i równoważności regulacji, poprzedzonych dwustronną ewaluacją przeprowadzoną przez odpowiednie organy regulacyjne (nie negocjatorów handlowych). W artykule wskazano również na duże znaczenie odpowiedniego poziomu zaufania między negocjującymi krajami, niezbędnego przy ocenie trudnych do porównania regulacji i następnie przy monitorowaniu implementacji przyjętych zobowiązań.
    The article investigates the key aspects of transatlantic negotiations in the scope of trade in services. Firstly, it draws attention to the various non-tariff barriers (often in the form of domestic regulations), which occur on both sides of the Atlantic, constituting a serious obstacle for the deepening of transatlantic exchange of services. Secondly, it observes that the significant economic benefits within trade in services require in-depth discussions with regards to the regulatory matters, and thirdly, it notes that these discussions cannot rely on negotiation techniques applied normally in case of trade in goods. There is thus a need to accept a new approach, which would be based on mutual recognition and equivalence of regulations, preceded by bilateral evaluation conducted by appropriate regulatory authorities (not the trade negotiators). The article explains the significant importance of the right level of trust between the negotiating countries, necessary upon the assessment of regulations, which are difficult to compare and, subsequently, upon the monitoring of implementation of the accepted solutions.
