    In the paper, maximal values xe(τ) of the solutions x(t) of the linear differential equations excited by the Dirac delta function are determined. The analytical solutions of the equations and also the maximal positive values of these solutions are obtained. The analytical formulae enable the design of the system with prescribed properties. The complementary case to the earlier paper is presented. In an earlier paper it was assumed that the roots si are different, and now we consider the case when s1=s2=...=sn.

    Opis:
    This paper presents the way of identifying the influence of the tolerance of model pumps (TYPE 3PWR-SE) construction on the total efficiency. The identification of sensitive control dimensions (Value / Tolerance) of examined pumps has been made by means of the multi-valued logic and inductive decision trees. In order to confirm the obtained results, multiple-valued logic trees have been used in the paper according to algorithms for the minimization of individual logic functions. What is more, a specific monotonicity of values of the most key parameters has been determined for the investigated set of pumps having individual specification numbers.

    Przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów nacisków powierzchniowych korzeni marchwi przy sześciokrotnym obciążaniu próbki o dwóch wielkościach średnic dla trzech wartości i trzech prędkości wymuszenia siły promieniowej. Obciążenia generowano przy wykorzystaniu maszyny wytrzymałościowej Instron 5566 wyposażonej w głowicę roboczą o płaskiej powierzchni. W rezultacie otrzymano 540 obserwacji, z czego 270 przypadało na każdą średnicę próbki, a po 180 na prędkość i wartość wymuszanego obciążenia. Do każdej wartości poszczególnych parametrów obliczano wartość średnią, odchylenie standardowe, błąd standardowy i 95% przedział ufności dla wartości średniej. Przeprowadzono wieloczynnikową analizę wariancji w celu określenia wpływu średnicy próbki oraz wielkości i prędkości generowania obciążenia na wartość nacisków powierzchniowych. Otrzymane wyniki porównano z wartościami teoretycznymi obliczonymi w oparciu o wzory Hertz'a. W trakcie procesu sześciokrotnego obciążania próbki, wartości nacisków powierzchniowych uległy redukcji w czterech pierwszych cyklach, po których następowała ich wyraźna stabilizacja. Wartości nacisków powierzchniowych, obliczone w oparciu o wzory Hertz'a, są wyraźnie wyższe od wartości otrzymanych na drodze doświadczalnej.
    The research results of surface pressure measurements on a carrot root at six-time loading of a two- dimensions sample for three values and three velocities of forcing radial force have been presented. The loads were generated during the use of Instron 5566 testing machine equipped with a flat surface working head. As a result, 540 observations were obtained, out of which 270 for each dimension of a sample, and 180 for velcity and the value of forced load. For each value of particular parameters, a mean value, a standard deviation, standard error and 95% confidence interval for a mean value were calculated. A multi -factorial analysis of variance was carried out in order to determine the influence of the sample diameter and seize and velocity of generating load on the value of surface compression. Obtained results were compared with theoretic values calculated on the ground of Hertz theory. In the course of six-times sample loading, the values of surface compressions were reduced in four first cycles after which clear stabilization occurred. Surface pressure values, calculated on the ground of Hertz theory are clealry higher than values obtained by experiments.

    This paper presents a methodology for identifying the influence of the tolerances used in model pump (TYPE 1PWR – SE) construction on the total efficiency. The identification of the sensitive control dimensions (Value/Tolerance) of examined pumps has been made by means of multi-valued logic and inductive decision trees. The innovation of the prototype unit is based on oblique gears with involute teeth, modified in the lower and upper part of the profile. The modification in the lower part was made using the so-called tooth root undercutting technique. Through the use of multivalent logic trees, the designated rank of importance of both structural and operational parameters is identified, taking into account the effect of tolerances on construction. The area is increased by cutting the oblique teeth.
