    Opis:
    Przejście przez ograniczony rejon żeglugowy wiąże się z wyborem trasy lub też z decyzją o opóźnieniu czasu przejścia. Jest to decyzyjny wielokryterialny problem. Wśród ważnych subiektywnych parametrów są warunki, jakie statek spotyka w rejonach skrzyżowań lub połączeń tras. Prognoza dla konkretnego rejonu wymaga posługiwania się przybliżonymi ocenami oraz korzystania z wartości rozmytych. Arytmetyka wartości rozmytych to zbiór operacji na przedziałach. Oprócz typowych działań jak dodawanie czy mnożenie, dostępne są metody porównywania takich wielkości. Pozwala to na wykorzystanie rozszerzonych wersji popularnych środowisk budowy hierarchii.
    Passing a restricted area the ship's master has to select one of the alternative routes or decide on a delayed passage. Among important imprecise and subjective values are congestions encountered within the regions including route crossings or junctions. To foresee traffic within a confined area the decision maker has to cope with imprecision and to use fuzzy numbers. Fuzziness is expressed by intervals. Interval arithmetic embraces typical operations such as addition or multiplication, but also enables the selection of possibility level as well as the comparison of such values. Consequently, extended popular hierarchy builders can be used for the selection of the best option.

    Opis:
    Making decisions is a process that involves taking into account n acceptable variants of undertaken actions in view of m adopted assessment criteria and selecting the optimal variant (optimal variants). Due to the number of alternatives being assessed and the number of considered criteria, more and more frequently mathematical methods are used in this process. Basing on the example involving the selection of a mechanized longwall complex, the article presents the application of selected multicriteria methods: in the case of quantitative features – Hellwig's development measure method, and in the case of qualitative features – Promethee II method. In the case of Hellwig's development measure method, equipment variants were interpreted as points w in the multidimensional space, and then the distances between them and the point Po (perfect solution) were determined. In the case of the Promethee II method (discrete multicriteria decision support method), the equipment variants were compared with each other in pairs, which made it possible to determine the so-called net flows Φ(i). The obtained synthetic values mi and Φ(i) allowed to build rankings of equipment variants (objects) and to indicate the optimal variant.

    An iterative multicriteria closed-auction conducted with the use of a multi-agent computer-based system is analyzed. This system supports the submission of offers, multicriteria analysis carried out by the organizer of the auction, simulation, and analysis of the behavior of competing bidders. Analysis of incentive compatible decisions is the main subject of this research. A mathematical formulation of the decision making problem and selected results of a bidding session conducted using this system are presented and analyzed.
